(Y/N) took in a deep breath, then letting out a sigh. Her lunch box was in front of her, but she just pushed the food around. She didn't seem to have an appetite. So wrapped in her thoughts, she didn't notice her friend come over to sit next to her.
"The flyers look great." Kai exclaimed, referring to the school play flyers that were placed all across the school. (Y/N) had took it home and managed to finish it, putting it up this morning.
"Oh, thanks. Everyone worked pretty hard on it." (Y/N) replied.
"Any other projects?" Kai asked, he always liked being updated on (Y/N)'s club events. Being the club president was way out of her comfort zone and Kai thought that if he listened to her, it may calm her nerves a bit.
"Uh, Hano-Sensei wants new club photos for the school website." (Y/N) explained. Last Friday, she was approached by the assistant principal who asked about updating the old photos. Apparently, newer photos would attract more students to come to Nekoma.
(Y/N) accepted the request, not sure how she would even reject it. She wasn't looking forward to going to each club and talking to the leader of each one. But that wasn't even the worse part.
What if I need to go to the volleyball club?
"Hey, that means you might be taking pictures of my team." Kai exclaimed, excitedly. He stared at (Y/N) waiting for the same excited expression to appear on her face.
"What's wrong?" He asked, making (Y/N) shove a piece of food in her mouth. She tried chewing it as slowly as possible but Kai just waited patiently.
"...Is this about Kuroo?" Kai randomly exclaimed, hearing his name (Y/N) almost choked.

"So, it is about Kuroo." He concluded,"Whats wrong?" Kai asked, remembering that she had apparently ran away from him, (Y/N) just stayed silent.
"Were you scared of him?" Kai continued.
"W-What?" (Y/N) stammered.
"I was told you ran away from him." Kai explained, making (Y/N)'s cheeks turn red,"But, Kuroo isn't a bad guy. He's pretty nice." he continued.
"...I know." (Y/N) mumbled.
"You know?" Kai questioned, puzzled.
"I m-mean he's not a delinquent like I had thought." (Y/N) frantically explained,"Plus, now that I think about it, I was pretty rude to him." She mumbled, guilt taking over her.
"God.......I don't think I can look him in the eyes." She groaned.
"Hey, hey. Calm down, its not all that bad." Kai interrupted,"At least you realized that Kuroo is a better person. You can make amends." Kai exclaimed.
".....he'll think I'm stupid." (Y/N) retorted, frowning.
"I don't think so, he actually wanted to be friends with you." Kai reassured, making (Y/N)'s eyes widen. Never in a million years would she think someone would want to be friends with her.
"Maybe this can be the beginning of a new friendship." Kai exclaimed, trying to change her mindset. But it didn't work, only making (Y/N) feel even guiltier.
He just wanted to be friends?

(Y/N) sighed as she stared at the list of clubs they had to photograph. They only had a few cameras, so a few members volunteered to stay and practice editing. She let the rest choose the clubs they wanted to take pictures of, deciding that she'd take any clubs that were left over.
Of course I get stuck with the volleyball club.

"(Y/N), are you there?" Chiyo, the clubs vice president, asked.
"O-Oh, yeah. I'm fine." (Y/N) replied.
"Okay, well, I'll be going to the gardening club then." She exclaimed, smiling at (Y/N). She then walked out of the club room making (Y/N) realize that she'd have to leave sooner or later. With her own camera around her neck, she began making her way to the gym.
She glanced around the hallways, it was still a bit crowded with club activities going on. Mostly the drama club moving things around, for their upcoming play. Eventually, (Y/N) came face to face with the gym door. She could hear muffled voices and the squeaks of their shoes.
I can do this.
(Y/N) took in a sharp breath and pushed the door open. The loud creaking of the door caught the attention of the team and the coaches, who all turned to look at her. Kai smiled and waved at her, happy to see his friend here. Nervously, (Y/N) waved back and approached the coaches.
She handed them the paper from the assistant principals requesting new club photos. After a few questioned, the coaches happily allowed (Y/N) to take pictures.
"Listen up, this is (L/N)! She'll be taking photos of you guys playing." Coach Naoi, the younger one, explained.
"P-Pardon the intrusion." (Y/N) apologized, bowing a bit,"You guys can go back to practicing. Just pretend I'm not here." She continued. The team obeyed and slowly went back to practicing, it took them a while to get into a rhythm. Most of them curious about the girl that had walked in.
Kuroo, especially, was interested in her presence. He didn't expect her to be here, he didn't even think that she'd be in the Photography club.
It's her again.

A/N: Chiyo is a random character, she's is a second year and respects (Y/N) a lot.

AN: This story is an attempt to overcome insecurity regarding the quality of my writing by practicing with intentional schlock. "Just write," as the advice goes. While it may not be masterfully plotted, the subject matter is one close to my heart and one that I endeavor to explore in a new light.
