《Diagnosed (Alan x Eric)》Good Morning

Builing up the courage Alan spoke in a shaken voice, "Because I'm an easy target? Isn't that right?" The woman laughed devishly led by an echo.
"You are correct, Mr. Shinigami," she replied, "I choose my victims very very carefully... The ones with less meaning to the world."
Alan couldn't keep himself from almost believing that statement. "Less meaning to the world, you say?... Well, you know what I think about that?" The Thorns of Death seemed intrigued by what Alan was going to say next. "Even the most meaningless person has a reason to be born. They just need time to find that reason. So all in all they do mean something to the world."
The woman was in awe by his response. Then she repeated Alan's last sentence, "So all in all they do mean something to the world? Ha, that's most certainly not true." Alan opened his mothto speak but before any words passed his lips there was a voice that interrupted him, Good Morning Alan. This voice was certainly not the woman's but a rather familiar voice. It took a moment for Alan to realize how it belonged to. He gasped out with excitement, "Eric? Is that you?!" Alan tried to detect where Eric's voice was coming from but the blonde's voice seemed to be coming from no specific direction. Once again the woman beared a devilish smile before saying a temporary farewell, "Well, I guess it's time for us to depart for now Mr. Shinigami," she turned her back to the reaper and waved at him, "It was nice meeting you. I hope to see you again, quite soon." After that she started to walk forward and then she got swallowed up by the darkness and disappeared. The brunette reaper watched the woman disapear in a cloak of black before whispering quietly to himself, "Hm, maybe she's right... Maybe I do deserve this fate. And if this is my destiny then I will die alone." Alan felt his eyes tear up, and soon after that tears that seemed like small glittering crystals streamed down his cheek. Alan? You're crying... Why are you crying? It was Eric's voice again. "Crying? Can he see me?" Alan asked himself. Hey Alan, Can you please wake up? I can't stand to see you cry... So please wake up... Eric's voice was very kind and suttle. Alan had always like when his blonde friend talked like this. Hearing Eric's voice made Alan want to leave this place of darkness and depression.

Suddenly everything around Alan seemed to melt away and the next thing the reaper knew was that he was starring up at the ceiling of the infirmary. Alan gave a small smile that he was there. He slowly sat up and to his left he saw Eric laying down on the side of his bed fast asleep. "Good morning, Eric." Alan cooed.
