"No. The queen is in desperate need of some rest. You'll see her later." Tedros said. "Queen? A poor, sultry peasant girl as Queen?" Sophie asked. "Anyone who speaks poorly of the King or Queen will have to pay a price. You will stay one night and no more. During that time, you will never see Agatha or me. Except for when you're seeing me now. Guards will be posted outside your door." Tedros turned to Beatrix. "Lady Beatrix, could you please check on Agatha?" Beatrix nodded. "Of course my King." Sophie fumed. "Beatrix is a lady in your court? Where is her husband? I was told she got married. Why do I not hold a title?" Tedros grimaced. "Lady Beatrix and Lord Chaddick are married. Lord Chaddick is away on business for me. You do not hold a title because you almost destroyed good as we know it." Sophie scoffed. "But surely a friend can be given a title.
