*maddie*
Days went by and no one heard from my mother and my sisters. Finally a call came through just as I was walking home from school with my two best friends Charlotte and Bianca.
Turns out Henry dumped Bianca the next day after the whole 'I found my parents and They are villains thing'. Bianca knew better not to cry over him and she joined us on this beautiful day in swellview park.
"It's such a beautiful day." Charlotte says as we walk through the park.
"Yes it is." I smile.
Bianca nods and then laughs.
"What was I thinking?! Henry hart and me? Thank god he broke up with me." She giggles.
"Why?" I asked.
"He would always run off places, saying he needed to go to work and all. But I bet he was cheating on me this whole time." She says.
She looks at Bianca in shock and Charlotte looks at me.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing. Nothing at all." Charlotte chuckles.
"So what about the spring dance?" I ask her.
"Already got a date. His name is Alex. And he's like super cute!" She giggles.
"Okay what about you char?" I ask Charlotte.
"Single dude. Never will go out with a guy till college. Kinda of a commitment thing." She explains.
I nod.
"And you?" Bianca asks pushing her hair back behind her ear.
"Me?" I ask.
"Yes you silly. You're not going alone are you?" She asks.
"Uh I don't know." I shrug.
"What do you mean you don't know?! You always have a date, a plan something or some guy! Come on maddie!" Bianca yells.
"I don't think I'm going.." I get cut off by a call.
The screen flashes ''Kelly Manchester'

My mother.
"Guys I have to take this call, I'll be right back." I tell them.
"Okay!!" Smiles Bianca like crazy.
I pick up the phone nervously for the first time in my life. I can't believe I'm even trying to give my mother a chance. She did save my life but also made it more complicated than ever.
"Hello?" I say into the phone.
"Madison! It's your mother kelly! I want to ask or tell you something." She says excitedly.
"And that is?" I ask.
"Me and your sister Veronika are moving to New York!" She says excitedly.
"Ok cool." I say flatly.
Why do I care?
"Not just cool, awesome! And the best part of you are moving with us!"
"What?!"
*henry*
I was sitting on my bed working on some English project for Romeo and Juliet.
"God I hate this book." I mutter to myself.
"Hate is a bad word Henry!" My mom walks into my room.
"What why? This book sucks!" I tell her.
"Ah but this is the classic kiddo." She smiles as she messes up my hair with her hand.
After what Kelly had told me that night I had asked my mother everything and she told me everything was true. She even laughed at the fact Ray still likes her despite that she had a caring husband and two amazing kids. I also told my mother about being kid danger. At first she freaked but I told her that Charlotte and of course maddie knew and she smiled. Now that she knows I work there she always checks on me at work.
"But why? It's just about Stupid love." I shrug.
She laughs.
"Oh Henry back when I was your age love was the best thing that could ever happen to you." She sighs.

I groan.
"How's Kelly and veronika doing?" She asks me.
"Good, although I didn't hear from them at all." I say.
"Probably busy." She assures me.
I suddenly get a ring on my phone.
It flashed Madison Manchester
"Ooh your little girl friend is calling." My mom sang.
"Ew mom!" I yell.
"Just kidding. You have 10 minutes on the phone after your coming down for dinner." She says and then leaves the room.
I pick up the phone and answer;
"Hello?"
"Hey hen."
"Wass up?"
"New York."
"What?!"
She tells me all about her moving to New York the day after outs party for school.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME YOU CANT MOVE AND AND.."
She shuts the phone, and that's the last time it hear from Madison Manchester.
She moves back to swellview by the time we are all in 10th grade and everything had changed. She was different and unfortunately she didn't like anymore. But that was okay I had an eye on someone else this whole entire time.

Been thinking about coming back to revamp/finish writing Artisan and noticed a kind reader pointing out my work has been stolen and published on Amazon. The offending novel is The Artisan by Jon Moremont - obviously a GoT fan who didn't even read the blurb properly and put a wizard on the cover.
