《Romance is Boring || Wilbur Soot x Reader》Chapter 5

During lunch we all just chatted about our life's until Carson started telling a joke and ended it with "Wood fired Pizza? How will Pizza get a job now?".
We all started laughing at it, except one person...Ellie. She just looked at us with a confused and ignorant face and said "Um, I don't get the joke.".
I looked at her with the typical 'Are you serious'-look on my face and told her "How can you not get the joke? It's so simple to understand, wood is like the boss of the pizza and then wood fires the pizza. Now pizza is jobless. Understood?" I said with an annoyed tone in my voice.
She just rolled her eyes and said "Mhm.". I love having a rival on the first day of school that can't even understand a simple joke...
Suddenly my thoughts got interrupted by the school bell ringing in my ears and students leaving the cafeteria.
"Well, it was great talking to you guys but it's time to head off to class. See you later!" Carson said, whilst him, Ted and Josh got up, leaving us behind.
"He's right, let's get going. I don't want to be late again because of you Traves..." Cooper said.
"Hey! That was only because I spilled apple juice on my pants and didn't want it to look like I peed myself...again..." Traves said, pouting.
I'm not even going to question the 'peed myself' thing because I got used to such weird stuff by now.
As Cooper and Traves left, Wilbur, Ellie, Charlie, Noah, Johnathan and I got up aswell and got ready to leave.
"It was nice meeting you y/n. I'll see you around!" Wilbur said and him and Ellie walked off. But not too far since he still heard the "It was nice meeting you too, byeee!" that I yelled after them and turned around and smiled at me.
"Alright, you go with Charlie because you have Biology together now. Me and Noah have Math so I guess I'll see you after school?" Schlatt asked me.
"Oh absolutely Jaylor Schwift!" I giggled. He just threw an annoyed look at me which I could tell wasn't meant serious.

"Bye!" me and Charlie said in sync, as we went the opposite way and the others responded with an unsynchronized 'Bye'.
Charlie and I rushed to the room we had biology and saw a couple students already sitting inside as we entered the room.
Luckily Ted and Traves had Biology with us so the lesson wasn't too boring. We just kept throwing little paper balls at eachother when the teacher was writing something on the chalkboard. We also bursted out in laughter because the paper balls would get stuck in Traves' hair sometimes, so it became a challenge to get as many of them into his hair without him noticing. Due to our loud laughter, the teacher separated us four but I was sat down right behind Traves, so that meant I could continue the challenge and won in the end with a count of 34 paper balls. Getting them out of his hair wasn't as funny for him as it was for us but we still helped out.
When the biology class was over, we all went to our separate classes. My next class was art which I was excited about because I loved drawing, it has something relaxing to it that I can't explain...
As soon as I got there so was greeted by the laughter of Josh and Carson and I went to sit down next to them as a blonde haired girl approached me. Her name was Taylor and she was honestly very pretty and nice, just like Cassandra. We talked a lot with Carson and Josh during the art class. Just like during bio class, I had so much fun in this one.
We all exchanged numbers and made a group chat we would just send memes in and die of laughter. Of course we didn't only mess around with eachother but we also drew our paintings and I was impressed with Carson's suuuupeeeer beautiful drawing. That was total sarcasm if you didn't notice. He drew a dog that was sitting down but it barely even looked like that, it rather looked like some mix of a horse with floppy ears and a giraffe.

For my drawing I drew a cute little whale because I was slightly thinking about one of Wilbur's streams where he built the whale fact shop. Soon the art class was over and the teacher dismissed us and told us to hand her over our drawings as we left. Once it was my turn to hand it in she complimented me on my drawing skills and shading, which I thanked her for.
Taylor and I were walking along the hallway when I told her that I wanted to bring my books upstairs to my locker. It was okay for me to go alone, considering that she still had to bring her books away aswell and I finally knew where my locker was located at.
"Bye Tay!"
"Bye y/n! I'll text you later." she said after we hugged.
I went upstairs to my locker, unlocked it and put my books inside. Just when I was locking it again, a girl stood behind the locker door and scared the living hell out of me.
"JESUS! You scared me...Can I help you?" I asked her.
"Oops, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you like that. I'm Alissa and I'm the leader of the music club, a little bird told me that you were a member of the music club at your old school. So...I wanted to ask you if you had any interest in joining?" she told me very quickly, but still slow enough so I could follow.
I thought about it for a second and finally came to a decision and told her that "I would be honoured to join your club! When are the meet ups?" I asked with a bright smile.
"Fantastic! It's every Tuesday and Thursday after the 6th period. I'm sure the others will love you and we will finally have someone to replace that awful female lead singer we have at the moment...Anyways! Bye, I'll see you tomorrow!!" she said, hugged me and ran off happily.
Confused at what just happened I just shrugged it off and walked back downstairs to the front entrance to make my way home. When I walked out the door I saw a Schlatt with his back turned to me and his eyes fixated on his phone. This was my time to scare him...hehe.
I slowly tip toed my way to him and grabbed his shoulders from behind and yelled "WHAT'S POPPING", which resulted in him dropping his phone on the floor.
"AGH! WHO THE F-" he yelled and turned around, surprised to see me standing infront of him, just grinning but scared of him murdering me right here.
"Oh, it's you. Next time don't creep up on me like that, I hope my phone isn't broken because of you..." he said and went to pick up his phone to check if it was still working, which it luckily did.
"Oopsies. Maybe I should buy you one of those phone case necklaces you but around your neck so you don't drop your phone. Seems like just the thing you'd need Schlatt." I said chuckling.
"That's actually a great idea, buy me one as a repayment of almost breaking my phone." he said in the most serious tone I've ever heard.
I just stood there saying "Um...how about...no." and walked past him grinning. "It was worth a try." he said after he catched up to me.
and I walked home because we both didn't live too far away from our school. As the gentleman he is, he brought me home first and walked to his house afterwards. I'd consider this a pretty successful first day.
E/N: The fact that it took me 5 chapters to write one school day has me . Well, since it was the first day of school and I had to properly introduce everyone I hope you guys can understand. I'll try to make the next few chapters shorter and I'd appreciate some feedback on the story, I'm scared that you guys don't really like it. Anyways, have a great day everyone!

Luck Lockyer
Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state. But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people. Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church. It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family. That was all he wanted. Simple. It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his. *found the picture online
