《Mundane Musings of a Misunderstood Mind》CHAPTER 11

So, here I am, lounging, listening to the classics, when "Windmills of your mind" starts to play, and it got me to put the pieces of the puzzle together in my head.

We all come full circle to where it all began. The earth is round, and so is the sun; my thoughts also seem to be spinning in that general direction. The ball I keep throwing against the wall comes back at me. Sorrow (for us) at birth and grief (for others) in death. I close my eyes and try to put images to the words, it plays like a silent movie, and I drift away to the voice of Sting.

"Round, like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel, never-ending or beginning on an ever-spinning reel. Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes of its face. And the world is like an apple, rolling silently in space."

Then, I opened my eyes and got this sudden urge to eat an apple. I munch on its golden juices and think perhaps Newton might have been onto something after all. The relevance and inter-connectivity of space, gravity, time and emptiness engulfed me once again.
