I wake up hearing something crash in the kitchen and instantly get up from the couch.

V: "so what did I miss from last night?"

He looks at me.

V: "I just remember drinking like a lot"

D: "yea I know..I was there"

V: "well I know..ish"

She chuckles out

A: "so you don't feel anything?"

V: "nope. I just feel better that I didn't do anything stupid"

A: "like what?"

I stand up and go to the kitchen where they were.

V: "like sleep with anybody else"

She looks over to devin

V: "sorry babe"

D: "well it didn't happen right?"

They both smile at each other and kiss.

I go on my phone and text jake

J: hey

A: you free??

J: I can't I have practice

A: I thought football was over

A: well tell me when you're free so we can hang

V: "I forgot I have to do something"

A: "like what?"

V: "like...like stuff"

He gives devin a last kiss

D: "bye"

He looks at me

A: "bye slut"

She goes out of the door

D: "I guess it's just you and me now"

Silence feels up in the room.

A: "you want to watch a movie?"

D: "yea sure"

I get some popcorn and warm it up in the microwave. Devin sits on the couch trying to pick what movie we want to watch together.

D: "what movie you want to watch?"

A: "anything"

The microwave beeps as I open it and try to cool it down as I walk up to the couch.

A: "so what we watching"

D: "a scary movie"

A: "what!"

D: "you told me I could pick it"

A: "fine"

I roll my eyes while he smiles

A: "you think this is funny"

D: "a little bit"

I roll my eyes again as he smiles like a kid in a candy store and presses play

I open the popcorn open and put it in the middle of us.

A scary scene comes up making me jump into devins arms.

A: "is it gone"

D: "yea"

He laughs out

A: "you think it's funny"

D: "yea"

He smiles out.

I look at the tv and another scary scene making me dig into his chest. I look at devin while he looks at me. Time stops. His hot breath on my lips. He comes closer to my lips he closes the gap between us.

This feels so wrong. But so right. Why can't I stop. This is bad. But it's fun kissing him. He goes down to my neck giving me wet kisses.

A: "wait"

He looks at me.

D: "what's the matter?"

A: "it's not right"

D: "but why does it feel right"

A: "I don't know"

I pull away and just look at the tv pretending nothing happened in the last 2 minutes.

D: "I-"

A: "let's just pretend that never happened"

D: "I know but-"

A: "you have a girlfriend that's my best friend"

We sit there in silence for a while.

D: "look-"

A: "just watch the movie please"

He looks away.
