Mikan wakes up the next day feeling light. Her sleep was by far the best sleep she had for a while. She felt two strong arms around her waist. Mikan turned around and saw Natsume in front of her , sleeping soundly. She smiled and poked his nose , then his cheek to his mouth. After all those misunderstandings , all of those useless fights ended here. 

Her phone vibrated , meaning someone just texted her. She reached for her phone at the bedside table and opened the password. She saw Jae Ho sending her a photo of today's schedule. Then it downs her that she still needs to work. She forces Natsume to let go of her and walks to the shower to get ready. 

Natsume felt his source of warmness gone and wakes up to see Mikan gone. He heard the water running and sighed in relief that Mikan didn't left him. He knew she has to leave soon. Her tour in Japan will end in two days. In those two days , she will be busy for the concert and he won't be able to see her. Even though she promised him that she would conatct him every day , he still feels empty. 

He wanted to be with her twenty four-seven. He wanted to see her smile every day , no every second. But even if he wanted all of that , he can't be selfish over her. He knows she has a bright future lies in front of her and he didn't want to block her from that future. He wants her to follow her dreams and continue to reach for the top. Even if he must suffer the consequences. 

"Don't forget to eat. Don't forget to call me when you're free. Don't trouble your coworkers. Do-"

"I know Natsume. You're becoming more and more like my mother you know" Mikan jokes and giggles at Natsume's personality. Natsume just sighed and smiled at her. He ruffles her hair and pecks her cheek. "Alright then , I'll watch your concert so do well alright?" He said and Mikan nods excitedly. They are currently waiting for Jae Ho to pick Mikan up so they could go to the place where the concert is held. 

Everything went silent. Mikan wanted to say something but she was debating wherever she should say it or not. After a long debate , she assured herself that she will tell him. "Natsume.. I've been thinking that.. After my tour is done I should go back to Japan and stay here." Natsume who heard this was shocked to hear it. He was happy to hear the news. He hugs her and whispered a thank you to her. Mikan smiles and hugs him back. 

Someone coughed loudly , making the couple break their hug and laugh at Jae Ho's disgusted expression. "Come on Mikan , let's go. Thank you for taking care of this little girl Hyuuga-san" Jae Ho said and nodded at Natsume. Natsume nodded back and said that she was no problem at all. They get in the car and drives away. Natsume watches as the car drove away from his position. 

Inside the car , It was silent. Nobody talked. Jae-Ho kept on glancing at Mikan who was weirdly silent. "Jae-Ho. I've been thinking.." Jae-Ho looked at her and asked what. From her tone , he knew she was serious. "After the tour , I want to quit my career."

Jae-Ho was silent. He was processing what she said just now. What?

"WHAT!?"

The ride was filled with Jae-Ho's yelling and lecture. Bless her ears for hearing Jae-Ho's screams. She never felt so alive when she gets out of the car. The singer ran towards the entrance of the building and ran to the backstage , not wanting to be yelled at anymore. When she spotted Suzy , she hugs her and hides behind the girl when her manager came. Suzy who was confused just waved at Jae-Ho lovingly. Jae-Ho returned the wave and walks towards her. Suzy felt her heartbeat raise and clutched at her best-friend for support. Mikan returned the squeeze with a much more stronger squeeze and supports her best-friend back.

"Suzy , Did you see Mikan? That kid is really annoying. Saying she wants to quit so suddenly.." Jae-Ho muttered. Suzy widened her eyes and glanced at Mikan who was smiling at her sheepishly. "I think she went that way" Suzy pointed at a random direction and Jae-Ho thanked her. When he was out of sight , Suzy turned around and faced Mikan with a face saying 'You're in big trouble missy'. Mikan raised her arms saying that she gives up and tells her everything that happened. 

After she was done telling her what happened , Suzy was on the verge of tears and she hugs Mikan. She didn't know her sunshine girl actually had a really sad past. "Oh girl , You should've told us.. Are you okay now? Should I talk about this to Jae-Ho?" Mikan giggled at Suzy's behavior and said that she was fine now. She truly is. 

"Alright then , Let's start the practice people!" Mikan said jokingly at the crew and they all laughed. Jae-Ho went over beside Suzy and sighed. "How is she?"

"You should let her Jae-Ho.. It's best for her to quit. She's young. Her first love made her broken , so she escaped to music and lets all her rage and dissapointment at her music. But now her heart is already healed and mended. She promised me she would still do music once in a while. Probably di covers and wrote some songs." Suzy said. Jae-Ho looked at the young brunette who was laughing at a mistake she did. He sighed and smiled. 

"Maybe you're right"

The practice ended early and most of the crew has already gone home , except for Mikan and Jae-Ho. Mikan was waiting for Natsume to come for her while Jae-Ho was making sure everything was in place for tomorrow's concert. The brunette waits for her boyfriend at the building's lobby patiently while playing with her phone. She didn't notice Jae-Ho walking towards her. 

"Mikan.."

Mikan looks up and saw Jae-Ho looking at her seriously. Mikan gulped.

"Yes?"

"Even if I try to stop you , you won't change you're mind ?"

"You know I won't Jae-Ho. I've made up my mind" Mikan said with determination laced on her eyes. Jae-Ho who noticed it chuckles and pats on her head. "I guess I can't stop you from stopping. But I need to warn you Mikan , There will be much more people who will try to stop you. When you leave , There will be many people who'll be hurt. You have fans who stayed loyal to you after all those years. Now , you want to leave them for a single person?"

Jae-Ho left Mikan dumbfounded. She felt selfish after hearing what Jae-Ho said. She will be leaving the peoples who have supported her all this time. She thought that they will support every decision she made but she never thought of their feelings. That night , she couldn't sleep at all. Thinking about her choices.
