day - january 26th

"i can always tell my teacher that i can leave school for a day just to hang out with daddy since it's your birthday today." joonwoo says, holding on to changkyun's hand as we were in front of the school.

"it's wednesday, you have to go to school." he responds, sadly. "but hang out at school for a while, i promise we'll eat dinner later with mommy." he looks at me with a grin, giving me a look asking for permission. i nod to his response.

"okay." joonwoo happily responds. he gives both of us a hug before dashing off to the front gate. "have a nice day at school, joonwoo." we waved as he waved back at us.

"i love you!" he shouts before catching up to his friends.

changkyun and i left and started walking back to his car. "did you recently sign him into this school?" i asked him, because he seemed to fit really well at school.

"yeah, but he got along with other kids so well. the teacher always talked to me about all the great things he does."

"that's great!"

"yeah, he still amazes me." changkyun replies with a smile on his face. "do you wanna go somewhere?"

"go where?"

changkyun says flatly, "to find joonwoo's parents."
