you ready?"
"Coming!" I hear him yell back from the room.
"Christian we are late, of you, do not get your ass here now, I am going to pinch your nipples again." I snort out remembering the events that occurred this morning.
His nipples were sour for a couple of hours.
Yeah. That's how hard I pinched them.
After breakfast, we had a lazy day together. Yes together. He made me watch Logan and was telling me all about its previous parts which I have already seen and Logan too, a long time ago, when it was released.
But he didn't know that and I still listened. He looked adorable when he rambled about the movie. And I mostly found myself looking at him instead of the movie.
The way his eyes narrowed at an intense scene. How his eyes twinkled when he saw the fighting scenes.
Yea, Twinkled. Weird lad.
Christian comes into the living room to break me from my train of thought about him.
"I'm ready."
"See I told you that you will look good in it," I say eyeing his clothes. Which by the way I selected.
"Yeah." He grins at me.
"Now chop chop, let's move," I call my hand and give him another toothy smile.
We get in the mustang and I wait for it to get heated. I take the time to check my outfit that consists of a knitted sweater with high black socks and heeled boots.
"Don't worry, you look pretty," Christian says and makes me blush.
"Thank you," I whisper.
We take off to our destination.
After 40 minutes we are standing in front of the Children Cancer Hospital.
"You sure about this?"
"Sure about what?" I ask.
"About me going in there." I raise my eyebrows at him to elaborate. "I mean what if the kids hate me?"

I laugh. "Really? You were freaking out over this?"
"Um, yeah..." He says with a tiny bit of blush on his cheeks.
Aww. So cute.
"Aww." I pinch his cheek and he swats it away. "Do not worry, they will love you."
I open the trunk and take out my guitar case.
"You play?" He asks eyeing my guitar.
"Yeah. It is a hobby." I shrug.
We enter and I am instantly welcomed by Marcus.
"Tori." He pulls me into a hug.
"Hello, Marcus." I break the hug and see him looking at Christian.
"Oh, Marcus, this is Christian," I point at Christan. "Christian, meet Marcus."
"Nice to meet you," Marcus says with a clenched jaw.
What's his problem?
"Likewise." Christan shook his hand.
"Shall we, Marcus?" I ask, picking up the guitar case.
"Here let me pick it up." He says taking away the case.
"Thank you." I smile at him.
He is such a sweet guy.
We three go to the 3rd floor where the big hall for children is. That hall is so huge had it even has beds for a few children there.
This where we all have fun. They all are very strong and brave. Fighting for their precious lives.
We are now standing in front of the hall door and Christian is hesitating to go inside.
"Marcus you can go inside. We both join you there in a minute." I smile at him.
He nods his head and gives me a tight smile and looks at Christian before going inside.
Or was it a glare?
"What is wrong Christian? Talk to me." I hold his hand which makes him look down at me.
He looks at me for a moment then looks at the ground.
I sigh and place my hand gently on his cheek. I make him look at me. There was sadness clear in his eyes.

"If you are not comfortable here, it's okay you can take my car and go back to the house."
"It's not that." He Sighs.
"Then?"
"Well someone really close to me has cancer and it kills me to look at them." He says. "And in there in that room are so many children fighting cancer and I don't know if I..." He stops and looks down.
"Oh Christian." I caress his cheek gently and pull him into a hug. "I get you Christian. Believe me, it was hard for me too, to look at them like that. But you wanna know something?"
He nods in my shoulder where his head is buried and tightens the hold on me.
"I don't look at them thinking they are some kids suffering from a serious disease or are sick. When I look at them, I see small fighters who are way, way stronger than us." I smile into his neck.
"Whenever I come here I learn something new from them. If you look at them that way you will always be willing to spend time with them. You will see how special they are and makes it easier for us to look at them." I break the hug and look at him. "So what do you say?"
He smiles and looks at me. His dimples forming on his cheeks.
"You are amazing, " He holds my hand. "let's go inside?"
I give him a big wide grin a drag both of us Inside.
The chatter inside finishes and all the eyes are on us.
Kevin is the first one to break the silence.
"TORI FINALLY HAS A BOYFRIEND!"
"TORI!!" Amy screeches and clings onto my leg.
"Hi, sweetie." I bend down and hug Amy. A six-year-old fighter. "I missed you."
"I missed you too." She grins at me. "Who is he?" She whispers in my ear.
I stand up with Amy in my arms. "Guys this is, Christian, and Christian, meet the most amazing children on this planet Earth."
Everyone greets Christian and me. Marcus leaves after a while after glaring daggers at Christian.
They thought that Christian was my boyfriend but we both didn't correct them because they were so happy.
Christian told me to leave it alone and I did.
We did many things with them. Playing games. Drawing and telling stories and now it was the song time.
I tame out my guitar and sit on the chair while the rest of them are sitting on the carpeted floor. Christian also sitting with them.
"So this is the song I wrote a while back. Tell me how is it. It's called 'Kill em with kindness'."
I take a deep breath and begin to play.
🎶The world can be a nasty place, you know it, I know it, yeah. 🎶
I glanced at Christian who had an unknown emotion on his face.
🎶See we don't have to fall from grace🎶
I see the children looking at me in awe.
🎶 Put down the weapons you fight with and kill em with Kindness, kill em with kindness, Kill em with kindness. 🎶
🎶Go ahead go ahead now 🎶
I sing the next verses swiftly.
🎶Your lies are bullets. Your mouth's a gun. No war in anger was ever won. Put out the fire before igniting. 🎶
🎶Why can't we stop fighting? 🎶
I finish the song with the chorus and the room is full of claps.
The children were telling me that they loved it. Then, just then, Christian stands in front of me. He is looking at me in a way I can't explain.
"That was beautiful, Victoria" He whispered to me. His breath hitting my face. He is standing this close.
I blush and whisper back. "Thank you."
He takes my hand. "Ready to go?"
