"Now that this is solved, we'll be going for a walk. Charlie you coming? We'll drop you on the way." Jason said as he grabbed my hand and dragged me outside.

"Sure!" Charlie said as he followed us out.

"You'll are going on a walk or a romantic stroll?" Ben asked teasingly. I smiled nervously. "Think whatever you want." Jason said and we left. I could hear them hooting a bit. I blushed.

I really need to stop blushing at everything! But I can't help it! It's embarrassing! We walked back to the garden and I sat down on the grass leaning against the tree. I sighed.

"Thank goodness we didn't have to prove anything and they believed us! Thanks for saving our butt, Charlie." I said.

"Short stacks, you need to be more free. Stop being so stiff when I get close to you." Jason said. I pouted. "I can't help it. I get too embarrassed." I retorted.

"But I thought you read many romance novels. You should be able to do all this without any nervousness at all then." Charlie said.

"There's a lot of difference between reading and actually doing it!" I said. "Then you should practice!" Charlie said. I raised an eyebrow.

"Practice? What do you mean be practice?" I asked.

"Meaning you'll have to practice doing things a couple does. With Jason." He said. My eyes widened.

"What?! No I won't do that!" I said.

"See if you want the others to believe that you'll are dating then you need to practice. You need to first get comfortable around Jason. Why don't you'll start off by holding hands?" Charlie suggested. Well...what he said is right. I do get quite uptight when I'm with Jason. Maybe because he's actually a rival of mine? But to be comfortable around him I need to be friends with him which I know he won't agree to. I got up.

"I have something to say. I can get comfortable around Jason only when we become friends. So what do you say?" I asked him.

"No. I don't want to be friends with someone as short as you." He bluntly said. I clenched my fist, controlling myself from hitting him.

"But..If it makes you comfortable and helps in improving your acting then fine. We can be friends till our contract is over." He said. I smiled wide. He looked away.

"Great! So hold hands now!" Charlie said. But it's still embarrassing. Jason grabbed my hand in his. So warm....I blushed deep.

"Lucy! Stop blushing!" Charlie said. "I'm trying! It's just that his hands are so warm that it...It just...I feel so embarrassed!" I whined.

"Your hands are so small." I heard Jason say. I looked up to him. I reached his shoulder only.

"Of course they are. A guy's hand is always bigger than a girl's. And it might also be because I'm a bit tiny for my age." I said. We were still holding hands and I wasn't feeling that embarrassed anymore. I smiled. He looked at me in confusion.

"This is it! Good going Lucy!" Charlie said. I smiled at him. "Yay!" I said happily.

"Now your next lesson. Sitting close together." He said.

"What?! Why do we need to do that?" I asked.

"Don't argue and just listen to me." Charlie said.

Jason sat down and pulled me along with him. It's not that weird sitting next to him. It actually feels good. His warmth is spreading to me. I sat closer to him. It was getting a chilly these days. I even took admission in this Academy in the middle of the semester. It was nearing the end of October and the start of November.

"You're not having any problems with this lesson." Charlie pointed out. "Yeah." I said and yawned.

"You didn't sleep well last night?" He asked. "I was up late summoning and talking to all my zodiac spirits. I went to bed late but had to wake up early." I said and yawned again. I saw the guys staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"You look like a cat. A small kitten to be specific." Jason said.

"Shut up! In what angle do I resemble a cat?!" I asked.

"Didn't she look like a cat when she was yawning, Charlie?" He asked.

"To be honest you did. To be more honest, you'll both look like cats. Jason the quiet but protective one and Lucy the outgoing carefree always getting into problems cat." He said.

"You were too honest. Try to be a bit mor-" I stopped in the middle and yawned. "You're really sleepy." Charlie said. "Yeah and Jason is so warm it's make me more drowsy. I think I'll nap for a few mi....." I dragged on as I fell asleep while sitting next to Jason.

My eyes opened to find myself leaning on Jason's shoulder and he had laid his head on mine and was fast asleep. I looked up and I could see him sleeping calmly. So cute....He looks so cute when he's not showing those cold eyes of his and is not scaring anyone by glaring at them but is just sleeping.

"You're finally awake?" He said with his eyes closed.

"The hell?! I thought you were sleeping!" I yelled frightened by him suddenly speaking. He sat up straight and moved his neck a bit.

"I was. But I was half conscious. That's the first step to be the best fighter. Always be conscious about you and your surroundings. And you felt cold on me. You should be thankful I didn't burn you and let you rest that big head of yours on my shoulder." He said. I puffed my cheeks and looked to the other side.

"Sorry. And thanks." I whispered. I don't care if he heard or not.

"Where's Charlie? Did he go back to his dorm?" I asked as I couldn't see Charlie anywhere. Jason got up and stretched. "Must have. We should go back too. It's quite late." He said. I got up and stretched too. "You're right." I said. Now that I think about it, he's completely forgotten about me being his slave, huh? Good for me. I grinned.

"And don't think I've forgotten about our bet. I remember it clearly. I'll make good use of you don't worry." He said. Did he just read my mind?! I frowned.

"Whatever." I said and walked ahead leaving him behind.

Stupid Jason! Stupid bet! Stupid contract! Stupid pretend dating! Stupid love! Stupid roman- no my romance can never be stupid! Stupid fire - breather! Good-for-nothing bastard! Jerk! Wimp! Sissy! Rebel! Rubbish! Idiot!

I took a deep breath to calm myself down. Oh I already reached home! I could smell freshly cooked curry from inside. My tummy growled in hunger. I'm always hungry. Thank goodness I don't gain weight no matter how much I eat.

Jason's POV

Damn that short stacks! My shoulder is sore now all because of her. I sighed. But she does intrigue me. From the time I caught her from falling face first on the ground till now. She's really something, to reach rank S. She easily defeated Ben and the most shocking thing was she defeated Griffin. That means she's stronger than all the guys in Crimson Dragons except me. But she wasn't bad when she fought me. She was actually pretty good. Just, she's too overconfident.

I can't believe I asked her to be my pretend girlfriend. Well she's the best choice. She's not weak, not shy, not self - obsessed and is not a fan of mine. I think I can find...can find a friend in her. Like the guys. Someone who I can trust. She feels like someone who's gone through some rough times like me.

I sighed and plugged in my earphones. I reached my house and went in. The guys were all there and they were chattering their time away. How carefree.

"Hey there Jason! So did you have fun with your girlfriend?" Ben asked as I stepped in. I grunted in response.

"Ash - face is shy. Aww...Ash - face and bunny girl sitting under a tree, K - I - S - S - I - N - G." Griffin teased and the others laughed. I glared at them and they shut their mouths.

"Don't forget, it was that 'bunny girl' who kicked your ass." I said. Griffin shut up at my remark.

"I - it's nothing like that. I went easy on her." He protested.

"Then you'll should have a rematch and this time don't go easy on her. I bet she'll love to fight you again. She loves fighting." I said.

"And you." Fred said quietly. Before I could say anything James interrupted.

"Guys, dinner is ready!" We all ran to the kitchen like hungry beasts. Well we are.

"Today we're having a seafood platter with rice and some salad." James said. He's the cook. Oh yeah, Crimson Dragons have their own house like the girls. I need to start my plan.

"So you're back in the dating business?" James asked. "Yeah, you could say that. But she's thousand times better than those other girls. And what do you mean by back in the dating business? I must have dated only 2 or 3 girls." I said not exactly remembering.

"That's true. Lucy is better than them. Actually she's perfect for you. She's the strongest girl student in our Academy, she's not a stupid fangirl of yours, she's not always talking about make up, dresses, accessories and all that shit. And since she's strong and not shy or weak she won't bring down your reputation. To me she's the best choice." Ben said.

"And you've dated almost 7 to 8 girls before. So I can say you were a playboy but then you stopped but then you got Lucy, so I can say you might again become the playboy you are." He continued. I scoffed.

"I love Lucy and no one else. I'm not going for anyone else." I said, lying smoothly.

The guys smiled(for God knows what) and nodded.

"What about you'll, Griffin and Fred? Don't you'll have the hots for bookworm and matchmaker? When do you'll plan to ask them out?" I asked beginning my plan. The guys stopped eating and stared at me.

"What?" I asked. "I - I don't know what you mean." Fred said.

"Y - yeah. We d-don't." Griffin agreed. I raised an eyebrow.

"You'll perfectly well know to what I'm getting at. So answer me." I said.

"Hey, didn't you'll say that you'll will ask the girl you like out when Jason gets a girlfriend? So why not now?" James pointed out. Thanks James.

"F - fine! I'll ask Levy out tomorrow. Okay?" Griffin gave up. I smirked.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Fred said and continued his meal. My mouth formed a thin straight line. I gotta do something about Fred. At least Griffin agreed. One down, one more to go.

Lucy's POV

I happily ate my curry rice but choked when Kelly asked me, "Hey Lucy? Have you and Jason gone on a date?" I coughed and gulped down the water water in my glass. I sighed after I felt nothing sticking in my throat.

"So?" Kelly asked once again.

"W - well...We just started d - dating so we haven't gone a date yet." I said honestly.

"Well then how about you'll go tomorrow? We have a holiday." Kelly suggested. I think she still doubts our relationship.

"Where can we go on a date but? Is there any place we can go?" I asked hoping there's no such place.

"There are many private spots in the campus. Like you could stroll in the rose garden, spend some alone time on the rooftop or we even have a pool but it would be too cold for swimming and we even have a beach a few miles away. You got to take the bus to reach there. I personally like just talking to James when we're sitting on a bench." Kelly said. And I prefer mine and Jason's secret garden. Wait did I just say that?! I'm going mad.

"I'll think about it. I don't think Jason would like to go on a date. He prefers just sitting somewhere in solace." I said. It is true. I mean from how much I studied him.

"Whatever you say." Kelly said and we started talking about other stuff. Good thing they're not talking about my pretend love life anymore. I don't like lying to them but I need to for their sake.

"I'm done. I'll be heading back to my room." I said and was about to leave when Levy stopped me.

"Lucy! Here." She said and handed me a book. Wait! This is the one I was reading in the library but couldn't finish it!

"Levy?! How did you bring this book?" I asked. I thought you can read the books only in the library.

"I brought it using my library card. I didn't get a chance to take you there again so I brought it. But I need to give it back by tomorrow. So read it tonight okay?" She said. I had tears in my eyes.

"Levy....." I said and hugged her. "I love you!" I said.

"Shouldn't you be saying that to Jason?" She teased. I blushed.

"Shut up! Now I'm going to my room and reading this. Tell the others not to disturb me. See ya. Good night." I said and ran to my room slamming the door shut. I leaned against it and sighed. I could hear Levy giggling. I'll have my revenge. Soon. Mwaahhahh! Okay. Enough evil laugh for today. It's time to read my book. I jumped on my bed and started reading from where I had left off the last time.

He hugged her tight. Not letting go. He pulled back a bit and leaned in. She getting the hint slowly closed her eyes. Their lips were centimetres apart. Finally he pressed his lips against hers. They fit like a puzzle. It was a magical moment for her. It's not that they hadn't kissed before but every time they did it felt like the first time.

They broke apart for air but he dived in again and kept kissing her, sucking on her lips. She gasped a bit. He had never been so aggressive. She pulled back a bit as she was out of air. He bent a bit and sucked on the side of her neck. She gasped in shock. She was scared since he had never done this to her before. But she enjoyed it at the same time. It brought her so much pleasure. He licked that part on her neck and kissed it. Things were heating up. Her face was red. She was breathing hard. But he didn't st-

"Ahhhh!" I screamed in shock as I heard some sudden tapping sounds. I looked around my room. My window? I went over to it and - gasp - What the hell?! What is Jason doing here?! I opened the window.

"What are you doing here?!" I yelled in a hushed tone so as to not alert anyone. Jason jumped inside my room WITH OUT my permission.

"I wanted to talk to you." He said.

"Yeah that's fine but you just don't come to someone else's place, knock on their window and bring themselves in like it's their own place." I lectured. Why did he need to come now?! When I was at such a hot scene too. I blushed remembering it. He raised an eyebrow.

"Anyway, I came here to tell you that Griffin is ready to confess to bookworm tomorrow. So we were successful in our plan. But I don't know about Fred. Guess we have to work harder for him to drop too." Jason said. OMG! This is great news! Levy will be thrilled! Tomorrow will be the best day for her! But we need to do something about Lisa and Fred.

"What were you reading?" Jason asked as he took my book from my bed and turned it over to see. I blushed.

"No! Don't see that!" I yelled as I tried snatching the book from him. But he moved away just as I was about to reach him. I saw him smirk.

"So you were on a really hot scene before I came huh? Someone has a dirty mind." He teased. I blushed even more.

"Give it back!" I tried taking it again but failed yet again. I didn't give up and still tried my best. He kept teasing me. I finally got a hold of him but due to my pressure we both fell down on my bed, me on top. I plumped down on his chest and when I looked above I stared into two emeralds. Jason quickly turned us over with him now being on top. My eyes widened. He smirked when he looked at me. My hair was all around me and on the bed and my face was red.

"I wanted to ask you. Do you want to do what the guy and girl were doing in your book? You want to experience it? I can help you with that." He said and leaned down. My eyes widened but I closed them shut when he was only centimetres away. I felt something warm on my forehead and then I couldn't feel any weight on me. I opened my eyes only to find Jason nowhere and my window open. He must have left.

I sighed. What the hell?! Why am I disappointed?! I slapped both my cheeks. Get yourself together, Lucy! There's no time for any of this. I looked at my open window. Why did he do that?

Ugh! I shouldn't care! I need to read my book! Where's my book?! I found it lying on the ground. I picked it up, laid down on my bed and started reading it again from where I left.

Jason's POV

What the f*** is wrong with me?! Why did I even do that to her?! Something is really wrong with me. Me - the calm, cool, collected, the strongest person, the strongest Dragon Slayer, feared by all has lost his mind. Completely. I wonder what she's thinking about this? Is she flustered? Is she thinking how she'll face me tomorrow?

I narrowed my eyes. That girl is too dense. She must have started reading that stupid book of hers again. She reads so much romance but gets embarrassed when I even just hold her hand. And I have lost it since I'm letting her occupy my thoughts. I need to make up another plan. To get Fred and Matchmaker together. Short stacks is of no use except for posing as my pretend girlfriend. She won't even think up of a plan. I pressed the bridge of my nose. I went into my room through the window. I sat down on my bed and put on my earphones. Maybe listening to music will help me in thinking. I closed my eyes. And I didn't realise when I drifted off to sleep.
