"Mama! Mama!!" I cried out as I ran as fast as I could. I looked everywhere for her but to no avail. I stopped for a bit to catch my breath.

I looked around. All I could see was a red, orange and yellow monster all around me. Fire. Everywhere.

I began running once again. I could see many people sprawled on the ground almost as if dead. A sight which a 7 year old should have never seen. I could see small kids crying out for their parents, me being no exception.

I ran around more with hope of finding my mom. I didn't want to lose the only person who I had in my life. Well the only blood relative. I had never met my father and my older brother had disappeared 2 years back.

I suddenly heard faint screams and ran in that direction. There was mist everywhere. I saw a silhouette which I recognised as my mom's.

"Mama!" I yelled. She turned around and I was right, that was my mom.

"Run! Go away!" She yelled. I had never heard my mom yell at me like this.

I took a step back. But then I saw a figure behind her with a knife in hand. I was about to warn her but I was too late. My mother laid on the ground, dead with the knife sticking out of her back, blood squeezing out. Her beautiful golden locks stained with blood.

I dropped to my knees. Tears flowed down my rosy cheeks.

"Mama...." I said. She tried to smile at me a bit.

"Sweetie...don't....dont c-cry...be strong..and...I..I love y - you....so so much.." Those were the last words my mom said.

"Didn't know the woman had a brat as well. Well, kid, are you ready to meet your mom in the afterworld?" The man said and raised his knife.

I felt something strong surge within me and suddenly a bright white light covered me and the man. The only thing I could now hear were that man's loud screams of agony.

The light soon disappeared and there laid the man, most probably dead.

I fell to the ground, feeling all drained. My eyes started to close and the last thing I heard was someone whisper, "Didn't know you possess such strong powers...dear niece..."

And blackness was all I saw.
