Your eyes opened from that dream.
Dream?
No, that was a memory that had haunted you. A week later, your so called parents left you alone. You found a note saying they couldn't take it anymore. You sat up in your bed and sighed. You hadn't said a word to another pony sense. You learned a hard lesson that day and never wanted to repeat it. You had that nightmare every night.
You got up and walked into your kitchen. You looked and saw that you need a bit more hay and some pears. A week had pasted sense you got the hay but hay sandwiches were your favorite so you ate them often. The 'main six' as you called them left and wouldn't be back later so you grabbed your bag and walk out your door, locking it and flying into town.
It was a bit crowded, but you got your items with no fuss and started to head back when you saw the main six. You sighed.
"Hey mutey, guess who just saved all of Equestria?" Applejack said. You looked at her.
"We did, not you!" She said and laughed along with her friends. Soon you were surrounded by other ponies.
"Well, this unicorn, called Sombra, we beat his butt!" Rainbow gloated. You took to the skies.
"I bet mutey would have flew away with her tail between her legs, just like her parents." Rainbow said. You stopped as everyone laughed.
That.
Was.
It.
You flew back and landed by them.
"Awww, did we hurt your wittle feelings?" Twilight asked and laughed and threw something at you. It hit you in the face. You smiled and picked up what they threw and put it in your bag, just so they couldn't throw it back at you.

"Yes. Yes you did." You said. Everyone became dead quiet. It was so quiet that you could hear Rainbow's wings flapping.
"It fact. I plan to leave, just like my parents, but first a gift. Rainbow, never fly again." You said. Rainbow's wings stopped flapping and became still on her back as she fell. You then looked at Twilight.
"Twilight, never use magic again" You said. Twilight gasped and tried to do a spell, but nothing happened. You looked at Applejack.
"Applejack, never do anything physical that's more then walking again." You said. Applejack tied to buck, but all she did was a soft kick that couldn't hurt a butterfly. You smiled at Pinkie, who looked scared.
"Pinkie, never talk again." You said. Pinkie's mouth dropped but no words came out. She closed it, looking around and looked like she was panicking. You turned to Rarity, who was shaking her head.
"Rarity, tear every single peace of clothing that you see in to bits." You said. Rarity looked around for and escape, but saw Applejack and took her hat, ripping it up before running off. You heard some pony scream.
"Hey!" Applejack yelled at Rarity and started to walk to where she ran off too.
"And finally Fluttershy, never stop talking unless your eating or sleeping." You said.
"Oh my goodness what's going on? Why can't I stop, Twilight make me stop! Stop looking at me! I have to leave Oh my goodness everyone is still looking." Fluttershy said and ran off, still talking. You smirked and flew in the air.
"Mutey! Wait!" Rainbow demanded and jumped into the air, only to land on her face. You smiled and flew right out of town.
They would be stuck like that until you told them to stop.

Maker of Fire
On a world where magic kept civilization firmly in the bronze age, the Gods dropped an accountant and a mining engineer to start a political and industrial revolution. They wanted enlightened governance and a fast track to the iron age. They got indoor plumbing, paper airplanes, a cranky queen, and one very grumpy prophet. Dramatis Personae Aylem was a bookkeeping student when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as the greatest mage ever known, born into the ruling class of gigantic, magic-wielding humans. The Gods expect her to conquer the world and introduce double-entry accounting. Though Queen and numerical reformer, world conquest is stalled because everyone is scared of her and she doesn't like war. Emily was a retired engineer when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as one of the enslaved class of small, magicless humans. The Gods expect her to drag the world out of the bronze age. Though she's already recreated matches and wrought iron, introducing technology isn't going well because she was born a slave (oops) and having escaped, wants nothing to do with so-called "civilization." Asgotl was a whale when he died. The Gods reincarnated him as a griffin and expect him to have the same role he played in his previous life: to keep a reluctant prophet from walking off the job. If only they had remembered to tell him about it. Revised update schedule will be once a week on Saturdays, noonish Mountain Time (in North America)

Incursions
This blurb concerns Incursions book 1: Incarceration. If you could buy superhuman abilities, but they might kill you—or worse—would you do it? Ten years ago, in a world not so different from our own, people with powerful abilities appeared. The new powers were dangerous, dangerous to acquire—dangerous to have—dangerous to wield. World governments raced to find and eradicate the abilities and those who possess them while using the media to rule by fear. Whereas corporations sought to exploit the abilities for profit. Raz Owens was living the dream - a rising star at a job he enjoys, a girlfriend he loves, but it all comes crashing down when Raz disregards his late father's advice. He is pulled into a chaotic underworld of clandestine labs, shadow organizations, and super-powered criminals. Used as a human test subject in a place where few survive the day, he must last long enough to escape. His only advantage? A power that seems nearly useless—a heads-up display. Contains: monsters, violence, death, dismemberment, gamelit, superpowers, superpower consequences, good guys, bad guys, good guys who might be bad guys, bad guys who think they are good guys, good guys that might go bad, bad guys that might turn good, guns for hire, competence, incompetence, continence, incontinence, conspiracies, and some of what I just said wasn't true. This story is written in third person limited POV. That means you can expect to know many of the thoughts and inner dialog of one character, and only see the actions of other characters. This POV does include scenes without the main character, and thus the reader can and will know things the main character does not. Further, this means characters act on what they know, which is almost always less than the reader knows. Something else to know. These books do not hold your hand. If you're reading it and thinking "Gosh, why aren't 'they' doing some 'obvious' thing." Bad news. You probably missed something that explains exactly that. If you're seeking a light read that doesn't ask much of you as the reader, you're invited and very welcome to come on in, but this might not be the story for you.
