Narrator's POV
"Dads!" Peter ran over to his dads as they came out of the unloading deck with their suit cases. He embraced them.
"Hey Peter." Stephen smiled.
"I missed you guys so much." He said.
"We did too." Tony said. Thor approached them, smiling.
"Ah Tony. I see you finally finished your moon." He said.
"Still not how that works." Tony said, stepping aside from Peter and Stephen.
"Look what we brought you." Stephen said to Peter in the background.
"He wasn't too much trouble was he?" Asked Tony.
"Oh no, no, no. All went well. You have raised your son very well Tony. " Thor complemented.
"Why thank you." Tony said, feeling proud of himself.
"He's a very good driver too." He said.
"Excuse me, what?" Came Stephen's voice.
"Nothing!" Tony turned to Stephen.
"Peter is a very good driver." Said Thor again. "He told me that Tony let him drive one day while you were gone." He pointed at Stephen.
Stephen looked at Peter.
"You learned to drive?" Stephen asked Peter.
"Um...yes?" Peter answered, unsure of how Stephen would react.
"I am so proud of you." Stephen held Peter close. "My little boy has learned to drive." He shot a glare to Tony.
"Yeah, he even told me that it was on his way to school in heavy New York traffic." Thor said.
"Oh." Stephen looked at Tony. "Well then, he'll be a very good driver when he grows up." Stephen patted Peter on the head. "I'm sure his father will be very excited to share the rest at home."
Tony gave Stephen a nervous smile and a small chuckle.

"Tony what were thinking letting Peter drive?" Stephen asked, towering over Tony.
"Do not raise your voice at me." Tony said, using his shoes to make himself slightly taller than Stephen.
"Did you just make yourself taller than me?" Asked Stephen.
"Yes, I did." Tony snapped back sassily.
"Urgh..." Peter groaned sitting on the staircases listening to his dads argue. He'd had enough. He got up. "I'm going out." He said. His dads were too busy arguing to hear what he said. He left the house and decided to go for a nice stroll around the city. He pulled his phone out and called Wade.
///0///0
"They just argue over the littlest things." Peter explained as he and Wade sat on the ledge of a tall building. Their legs hung from the edge. Wade was wearing his suit because Peter had called while he was on a job, but he really didn't mind. His boyfriend needed him, and he was going to be there for him.
"I think they just want to keep you safe Peter, but I think they might be a little over protective." Wade said. He'd lifted the part of his mask that covered his mouth to be able to eat strawberry danish. Peter had one too.

"Yeah. I proved myself to Mr. Stark. Now I just gotta prove myself to Dr. Strange." Peter said, taking a bite of his danish. "But I'm very happy for them. They're really happy together. Marriage is a wonderful thing." He said.
"Well..." Wade shrugged.
"Marriage changes your life in ways you couldn't possibly imagine." Peter said.
"As does lethal injection." Wade looked at him.
Peter shot him a confused look. Wade laughed and brought Peter close to him.
"Sometimes I wonder what goes on that head of yours." Peter laughed.
"A lot of th-Gah!" Wade has been pushed off the building by a black object.
"Wade!" Peter gasped and shot webbing on a building and swung down to Wade, suiting up. "Gotcha." He said, catching Wade and swinging to another building.
"Thanks Peter." He said.
"What was that?" Asked Peter.
"Oh." Wade jumped a little. "I totally forgot about the job I was suppose to take care of." Wade said.
There was a two tone scream from across the opposite building. They both looked in that detection. Peter was absolutely terrified.
"What is that?" He asked.
Wade got through loading a gun. "That." He said, cocking it. "Is Venom."
A large black creature jumped into the air, heading for them.
"Stay back Petey, I don't want you getting hurt." Wade said, jumping off the building.
"Wade-" Peter was cut off as Venom fell past him, after Wade. Venom screeched.
There were gunshots and car horns going off. People screamed and the sound of glass shattering echoed.
"Time to save the day." Peter said, shooting webbing to a building and following the sounds of distress and destruction. "Whoa." He jumped out of the way as a car was thrown his direction. He jumped on a building wall and kept his distance from Wade and Venom. "Wade what's this guy's problem?" He asked.
"Well..." Wade fired two shots. "I was sent to kill him for the assassination of his alien race leader or something like tha-" Wade was hit by a stop sign.
"Wade!" Peter yelped.
"I'm okay, really." Wade said, getting back up; only to be hit by a large fragment of concrete from the rubble of a building that had been hit by a car.
"Not cool." Peter said, shooting webbing on Venom's eyes. He screeched. Peter shot webbing to a car and swung it around, hitting Venom.
Venom went flying across the street and hit a building with the car landing on him.
"Ooo Petey. So strong." Wade applaud him.
There was another screech from Venom, he was holding the car up and threw it to Peter and Wade.
"Watch out!" Peter shielded then with webs. The car got stuck in the web, only a few inches away from them. "Oof, that was close."

It was quiet.
"Do you think he's gone?" Asked Wade.
Right after, Venom lifted the car and ripped through the webs. He picked up Peter.
"H-Hey!" Peter gasped for air, he as being crushed.
"Let go of him." Wade fired at Venom.
Venom only screeched and swung his arm at Wade, sending him against the wall of a building.
"Wade!" Peter gasped. Venom looked at Peter and stuck his tongue out. He grinned as Peter struggled to get out of his grip.
"We will eat him Eddie." Came a voice from the black creature.
"E-Eat?" Peter asked, terrified.
"Yum." Venom nodded.

"Waffles are just pancakes with abs." Tony said, sitting on the couch with Stephen's head on his lap as they watched tv.
Stephen looked him. "Sometimes I wonder how your mind works." Stephen said.
"Very hard." Tony said. "Just like me." He snickered.
"You are also short." Stephen laughed.
"Stephen, I swear to god."

"Wait, wait, wait, wait." Came another voice. Peter stopped struggling, growing curious of the other voice. The head of the creature shrank down to a human's. A man. "You can't eat him. He's like... How old are you?"
"I'm fifteen." Said Peter.
"See? He's like twelve." The man said. "Sorry about that kid. We were here to see some relatives of ours when that other maniac tried shooting at us." The man said pointing over at Deadpool, lying on the concrete. "My name's Eddie by the way. Eddie Brock." He extended his arm out.
"Uh... I'm Spider-Man." Peter said, now staring at two large white eyes that lay on Edie's shoulder.
"This is Venom by the way." He said, shrinking down to the size of a regular man. "Sorry if he was crushing-"
"We." Venom said.
""We" were crushing you." Eddie said.
"Eddie. He is like a miniature version of us. We must keep this Spider-Man." Said Venom.
"Venom, you can't just take what you want. Especially people. That's called kidnapping, that's really really bad-" A loud bang echoed throughout the city. Eddie fell to the ground. Peter gasped, he turned around to see Wade holding a gun in his hand.
"Wade! No." He went over to him. "He really doesn't want to fight. He was just-" Venom screeched as he took form over Eddie's body again. "Now you made him angry. I just got him to chill."
"RAAAAAAAAAAH!" Wade began to run toward Venom.
Venom returned a loud roar and began to run toward Wade.
Peter sighed and shook his head.

"And that right there is the Empire State Building." Peter pointed over at the tallest building as Eddie and Deadpool joined him for hot dogs at the top of another tall building. Both Peter and Wade still had their masks on, but lifted the mouth piece to eat their hot dogs.
"Ah." Said Eddie. He put his hot dog up to his shoulder, Venom took a bite. "So, Deadpool, right?" Wade nodded. "You were assigned to kill me?" He asked.
"Yeah, but don't worry about it. Killing you was definitely not worth it. A couple of more zeroes, and maybe I'd consider it." Wade said.
"Alright." Eddie stood up. "Well it was nice chit chatting with you, but I really have to go. I've family to go visit." He said. "Spider-Man, Deadpool." He have them a small nod. They waved at him, and Eddie was gone.
"You know Wade, I should probably get going too." Peter stood up.
"Alright Petey." Wade joined him. He took him by the hips and brought him close. "But come see me soon, okay?"
Peter laughed. "Of course."
Wade leaned in for a kiss, but Peter put his mask on. "Aww Sweetie, when are you going to let me kiss you?" Asked Wade.
"Boy you're talking crazy." Peter said, extending his arm out, shooting webbing somewhere and jumping out of Wade's arms.

"Sorry I'm home so late. Wade and I were hanging out." Peter said putting his mask away in his backpack as he came in through the door. He heard laughter in the kitchen and headed over there. "Hey-" He stooped when he noticed a third body.
"Oh Peter you're just in time to meet your uncle Brock." Said Tony.
The third body turned around. "Hey Peter, I'm your uncle Brock. You can call me Eddie if you'd like." He said.
"Uh...hi." Peter said.
"Don't be shy Peter, shake his hand." Stephen said.
They shook hands. Venom made an appearance on Eddie's shoulder.
"U-Uh..." Peter grew nervous.
"Don't mind him. He's Venom." Said Eddie.
"Eddie, he is the Spider-Man." Venom said.
"Of course not." Eddie said. "You're still mad about the fight."
"Wait, fight?" Asked Tony.
Peter looked at him.
"Yeah, some guy named Deadpool said he was assigned to kill me and tried to kill me. But then this kid, that calls himself Spider-Man, reasoned with him and-"
"Interesting." Stephen looked down at Peter. "What all did you say you did today Peter?"
"Um..." Peter swallowed.
"No way." Eddie looked at Peter.
"I told you. He is spiderling." Said Venom.
"Wow. My nephew is super cool." Eddie said.

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.
