Narrator's POV
Tony walked past the living area, catching a glimpse of Peter. Peter was lying across the couch with a pillow on his stomach. The tv was on with cartoons displaying. He looked at his tablet, it was running some diagnostics. Only 23% was complete. He looked at Peter. Eh, he had time to kill. He walked into the living room.
"Oh, hey Mr. Stark." Peter sat up on the couch normally.
Tony sat next to him and faced the tv. "What kind of junk are you watching?" He asked and got the remote, changing it.
"Hey! I was watching that." Peter said.
"Yeah, and it's filling your head with trash." He told Peter, switching between channels.
"You'd like Rick and Morty. Science is involved, and inventions."
"Stupid inventions." Tony stopped on the nature channel. A jungle was displaying on the screen.
"Oh no. Not the nature channelllllll." Peter groaned. He put the pillow to his face and fell back on the couch.
"Come on. It'll educate you. And you need plenty of that." Tony told him and out the remote on the opposite side of Peter.
Garner snakes are harmless. They are not poisonous and are smaller then a spaghetti noodle, but that doesn't make them 100% safe. They are vicious predators. They consist of a diet made up entirely of bugs and small lizards.
The narrator on the tv said. Peter sat up, still not excited about watching the nature channel; but decided to watch anyway. An image of a snake appeared on the tv screen.
"Oh look Mr. Stark a snek."
Tony looked at him. "I think you mean snake Peter."
"Nope. Snek." He looked at Tony.
"Snake."
"Snek."
"Snake."
"Snek."
Ned walked by the two. "Hey Ned what is that on the tv?" Tony asked the teen that happened to go by.
"Oh look a snek." Ned smiled. They were his favorite animal.
Tony's head jerked back a little and a blank expression sat on his face. He took in a deep breath and looked away for a little. "I swear this generation." He let out quietly.
"Hm?" Peter and Ned both looked at Tony.
Tony stood up. "I need to go run some diagnostics. That's all. You two carry on with..." He looked at the teens that were making a pillow fort. "...with whatever you two are doing." He began to exit the living room.
"Peter look. It's an American murder log." He sighed again. The stupidity of this generation was truly breaking his heart.

Later that night Peter was bedded down, and Tony and Stephen we're fixing to go to bed. Stephen was under the covers, leaning against the headboard of the bed, reading a book.
Tony came from the bathroom, he had just finished showering. Stephen looked over at him.
"Hey Tony." He said.
"Yes?" Tony answered, drying his hair with a towel.
"I've been meaning to ask: why are you afraid to get close to Peter?" Stephen put his book down.
Tony stopped and looked at him. "I'm not." He threw the towel on a chair near by.

"Come on Tony. You literally change your whole character when he's talking you, or near you. Your whole attitude changes. You build a wall to close yourself to him." Stephen explained.
"You know children have never been in my interest." Tony scoffed.
"When he was smaller you weren't so hard on yourself. You were more open and a lot more playful with him." Stephen smiled, replaying memories in his head. Tony looked at him. Stephen recognized the look on Tony's face, emotional disturbance.
"Can we not talk about this right now?" Tony asked in an annoyed voice.
Stephen decided to step down. "Yes, yes. Alright." He said, picking up his book again. Tony laid next him. He gave a frustrated sigh. He looked over at Stephen, who's attention was fully on his book. He took the book from Stephen and threw it across the room. "Hey, I was reading that-" Stephen stopped talking when Tony grabbed him and pulled him into the spoon he'd formed with his body.
"You hurt my feelings Wizard. The least thing you could do is not ignore me." He gave the back of Stephen's neck small kisses. Stephen's cheeks were glowing.
"I'm sorry Tony." Stephen turned around to face Tony.
Their eyes met. Caressing Stephen's cheek, Tony smiled. They drew close, their breaths shortening, and their hands exploring every inch of each other's bodies. "Stephen..." Tony whispered as the space between them grew smaller.
"Yes Tony?" Stephen asked, his eyelids fell halfway down their moist eyeballs.
"I love you." Tony said, closing the space between them.
Their lips crashed upon each other like waves. They followed a steady rhythm that gradually got faster. Tony climbed on top of Stephen, declaring himself dominant of the two. He gave Stephen's bottom lip gentle nibbles, asking for permission to his lover's mouth. Stephen allowed it. Their tongues went at each other, tangling themselves into a dance.
They pulled away for air. Tony went for Stephen's neck, nibbling and licking.
"Mmm..." Stephen moaned. "Tony." He said. Tony only continued his mischievous actions. "Your erection is distracting." He said.
Tony rolled his eyes, he couldn't believe how fast the doctor could ruin the mood. He looked up at the doctor, and gave him a gentle kiss on the forehead. They went back to their spooning and closed their eyes for the night.

"Master Stark may I remind you that today Peter has a play at 7:00pm in the Midtown High School auditorium." Jarvis said as Tony sipped his coffee and read the newspaper at the long dinner table in the dining room.
"Oh yeah." Peter said from the other end of the table with a mouthful of cereal and a small stream of milk dripped from his chin. Tony had made him sit on the other end of the table, despite how many tries Peter gave to sitting close to the brilliant scientist. "I got the lead role." Peter pointed out. He got no response from Tony. Peter took in his breath, holding it in. He didn't want to disturb the silence that he and Tony were sharing, but at the same time it was too quiet. There was tension in the air. He couldn't take it anymore. "I reserved seats for you and Dr. Strange...well that's if you two decide to come." Peter let out, quietly.

Tony looked up from his newspaper, he looked at Peter; who had his head down. He looked down at his paper, with a worried expression. He sighed and gave in, he put the paper down. "I'll see if I can squeeze it into my schedule." He responded.
"Really?" Peter asked, looking up with a huge smile on his face.
"Sure." Tony picked up his paper again and began to read it.
"Peter, the bus is here." Jarvis said.
"Oh that's right." He got up and wiped the milk off his chin with his jacket sleeve. "You better hope that I break a leg." He smiled.
Tony put his paper down. "Why would you say that? A broken leg would ruin your acting career." He said looking at Peter.
"It's a theatre expression." Peter explained.
Tony sighed and picked up his paper. "I swear I'll never understand your generation." Peter rolled his eyes and smiled.
"Peter the bus is waiting." Jarvis said.
"Oh yeah." Peter hurried to the door. He looked back to Tony. "Hope I see you there tonight Mr. Stark." He said before he left.
Tony gave a small smile as he continued to read his paper.

Peter looked through the red curtains of the stage, he looked at the seats he'd reserve for his guardians. Stephen was sitting in one of the seats crossing his legs that were covered by blue jeans. He wore a green long sleeve sweater vest with a white dress shirt under. His hair was nicely fixed. He looked at Peter peeking and waved, giving him a thumbs up softly after waving. Peter gave him a small wave back. He didn't see Tony anywhere.
"Ladies and gentlemen will you please turn off your cellular devices for the play will be beginning soon." Came the voice of the female director.
Peter sighed and put his head back into the red curtains.

"I can't believe you've done this!" Peter shouted from the stage. The play had been going for half an hour now.
"Forgive me Patrick. I tried my best to ignore my feelings for your wife, but I couldn't hold myself any longer. My heart ached with every moment we spent apart." Another student actor said to Peter.
"Well I hope your heart aches more with a hole ripped through it." Peter said, pulling a prop gun from his pocket. The sound of the gun blowing echoed through the theatre. A female scream bounced off the stage. Police sirens went off. Peter put the gun in his pocket and ran off stage. The curtains closed, and the audience clapped.
"We will be having a short intermission." Came the voice of the director again.
Stephen took his phone out.
Where are you?
He typed in his phone. It sent to Tony. A phone went off in the back of the theatre. He looked in the direction the sound had come from. The light coming through the opened door at the back of the theatre revealed Tony's shadow. His phone glowed in his pocket. Stephen raised his phone up and waved it, flashing the light at Tony.
Tony noticed it and went over to him, sitting next to him. He was dressed in a suit and tie.
"Where have you been? Peter's been worried sick the entire play that his dad wouldn't show up." Stephen told Tony.
"Sorry sorry. I had a meeting and- wait, dad?" The lights flickered in the theatre.
"We will be continuing now." The director said. The curtains opened revealing Peter sitting on the edge of a bed in a small room. His hands were to his head. He sighed.
"I can't stand it anymore!" He shouted, standing up suddenly. He fell to his knees after and pretended to sob. "I can't live with myself!" He punched the floor as he proceeded on all fours. He grabbed a phone from his pocket and dialed a number. "Hello yes..." he said sniffling. "...I..." He looked up at the crowd. His eyes widen, and a smile grew on his face as he noticed the person who he hoped would show up in the seat next to Stephen. "I... I have just murdered my best friend."
The played continued for another forty five minutes. Patrick, the character portrayed by Peter, had been caught and sentenced to life in prison; but had died in prison of disease.
"That was some very fine acting." Stephen complemented Peter.
"Thank you Dr. Strange." Peter smiled up at him. He looked at Tony. "Did you like it Mr. Stark?" He asked.
Tony had his hands in his suit pockets, and his stare was fixed on the ground. He noticed Peter and Stephen staring at him. "Hm? Oh yeah. Yeah. Good job kid." He said.
Peter was a little disappointed.
"I'm going to talk to the director, I truly enjoyed it." Stephen said walking away, knowing what was coming.
Peter and Tony stood outside of the auditorium, waiting for Stephen. Peter had his head low, Tony looked at him with a worried expression. He patted Peter on the back. Peter picked his head up and looked at Tony suddenly, who was staring somewhere in the distance. "You didn't break a leg."
Peter smiled. "Yeah."
Tony removed his hand and put it back in his pocket. Peter looked at him, restraining himself. Tony looked at him, seeing the desperation in Peter.
He took in a deep breath and extended his arms out. "Fine." He let out. Peter's face grew a large smile on it.
"Really?" He asked. Tony nodded. Peter went for it, wrapping his arms around his guardian. He was so happy. Tony wrapped his arms around him slowly.
"You did good kid. I'm very proud of you." He said, smiling. He looked up and noticed Stephen staring at them in the distance with a smile on his face. He rolled his eyes and gave Stephen a smile.
Peter on the other hand, looked up and noticed Wade in the crowd of people. His eyes widen, and his head jerked back a little. Wade winked at him, Peter rolled his eyes and looked away.
