Narrator's POV
"Ugh, that meeting." Came the voice of a very tired and frustrated doctor.
"Tell me about it."
"I'm talking about you Tony." Said the doctor as he took his jacket suit off and placed it on the coat rack next to the beautifully carved door of the New York Sanctum .
"Me? Stephen, what did I do to make such accusations?"
"You fell asleep three times, you were tweeting under the table, and due to your bored tapping on the table; we had to continually stop the meeting." Stephen removed his shoes.
"It was boring!" Tony groaned, with his hands gripping his hair. "I hate meetings."
"It was your idea!" Stephen crouched down a little to Tony's level and did a small jazz hands.
"I don't need your sass mister." Tony turned away.
"It's doctor. You know it's doctor."
"Mister, Doctor. Same thing-" Tony was suddenly grabbed by the shoulders and turned to an annoyed Stephen.
"Listen to me Tony, I did not attend 16 years of college to be called Mister. I studied very hard, and struggled-" Stephen's attention was suddenly snatched by a shadow that flew by rather quickly. "Wait, what was that?"
"Oh, you mean Levi? He's been floating there since we-"
"Excuse me? Levi?" Stephen looked at Tony with a raised brow.
"Yeah, you know. Your mystic floating cape, or Levi as I like to call him for when I need an extra hand." Tony explained.
"First of all, cloak, not cape. Second, he's 'The Cloak of Levitation', a very precious relic. Respect him. And I wonder where he's going." Stephen walked to the staircase, stopping and looking back at Tony.
"What?" Tony said, looking at him in the dark.
"Aren't you coming?"
"Oooooooo, is Doctor Stephen Strange scared?" Tony taunted.
"Shut up. Coming or not?"
Tony smiled and rolled his eyes, soon by Stephen's side. They went up stairs, turning to the left corridor, where they found one of the many doors opened with a light coming from it. You could hear the cloak moving around, flapping; but then there was another sound. Unusual sounds. Stephen looked at Tony, Tony gave him a small nod.

"GAH!" They both burst into the room. Stephen with his glowing hand shields ready to attack, and Tony with a vase he got from on the small tables in the corridor since he didn't have any of his suit at the moment.
'Levi' has fallen flat on the ground, well except that there was a bulge underneath him. They relaxed.
"What is-" The bulge moved. They both went back into defense mode. It began to move toward them.
"REEEEE!" Tony threw the vase. Levi caught it and set it safely on the ground, still not revealing the bulge under him. Tony clasped onto Stephen. "Stephen stop it! Hit it! Do something, but don't just stand there!"
"No." His shields disappeared. "If he doesn't want us to hurt it, it's obviously not dangerous." And with that, Levi's collar lifted and revealed a small body.
A very small body.
A baby.
Levi placed his collar around the baby's shoulders.
"It's a baby." Tony pointed that out.
"A baby."
"What's a baby doing here? How did it get here? Where are it's parents? Where did it-" Tony was blabbering, and it had bored Stephen.
Stephen approached the small child and crouched down. He reached out to touch it, but Levi slapped his hand. "Oh give me a break. I'm not Tony." Levi slowly unwrapped himself from the baby, and placed himself on Stephen's shoulders as Stephen picked up the baby.
"Boy. A baby boy." The small child reached out his small arms to Stephen's face, making some gurgling noises. Stephen brought him close to his face, the baby placed his hands on Stephen's cheeks and felt his facial hair. Stephen smiled, but soon noticed a note in the child's tiny pocket of his onesie. He read it carefully.
Hello, due to some family issues and struggles I was not able to be provided with care. Please take me in and provide safety and care for me.
"What's this?" Tony took the note from Stephen. He read it quickly. "What do they think this is? An orphanage?" He asked, looking up at Stephen.
Stephen send a gloomy eye toward Tony. "How dare you? This child was abandoned and placed in our care." He said, cradling the small one on his arms.

"No offense Stephen, but you're not the best when it comes to small fragile stuff." Tony said, with a flat expression.
"I am an excellent caregiver."
"Do I need to bring up Baxter? What about Milo? Oscar? Goldie? You basically have a pet cemetery in your backyard." Tony stood there his eyes closed. "Plus, this one requires extensive care."
Stephen sighed. "You're right." Levi was now cradling the child. "And you attract too much danger."
"You and me both." Smiling, Tony wrapped an arm around Stephen's shoulder. His smiled disappeared soon after. "Hey, what's the matter Wizard?"
"I just feel terrible. He was given to us to take care of him, and yes I understand we aren't fit to raise a child, but can you imagine sending him to a foster home? The conditions he'll live in, who he will be living with. There are millions of homeless children, there doesn't need to be another one." Stephen watched as Levi cradled the baby.
Tony sighed, looking at the baby now. "Yeah, I understand." His head then suddenly perked up, you could see a literal bright light above his head. "Wait, I know someone." Tony took his phone out of his suit's pocket and dialed a number.
"Hm?" Stephen turned to him. "Oh wait, it better not be one of those science creeps. There's no way I'm letting you use this child as a lab rat."
"Oh calm down. She's a sweet woman."
"She?" Stephen had a light red tainted on his cheeks.
"Jealous?" Tony smirked at him, only causing Stephen to cross his arms. "Uh, Hello May? It's me, Tony. Oh I'm doing just fine, thank you. Listen, I've called to ask a small favor..."
————————————————————————
Not long after, a vehicle drove up to the Sanctum. Tony went over to answer the ringing doorbell. Stephen followed with the baby in his arms.
The door swung opened, a middle aged woman stepped in.
"May."
"Oh Tony." They embraced, patting each other on the back. "How are you?"
"Well, I'm doing just fine. How about yourself?"
"Marvelous darling." She tapped his shoulder and laughed. She noticed a figure standing at the bottom of the staircase. "Oh, and this must be the ever famous Doctor Strange." She approached him.
"Hello." He greeted, in a semi-low/sad tone.
May quickly noticed that he was holding a sleeping baby in his arms. "Tony is this...?"
"Yes. That's him." He said, coming behind her.
She looked up at Stephen. "May I?"
As hard as Stephen didn't want to hand over the child, he nodded. May took ahold of the child. "Careful, don't wake him."
May made sure to be as careful as she could be. "Oh, he's precious." She caressed the baby's cheek.
"Yes. I-"
"I want to name him before he goes." Stephen said suddenly. His fists gripped tightly, trying their best to not tremble, and his head hanging low.
"Well Stephen I don't know if May wants t-"
"No, let him." May smiled at Stephen. "What name do you want to give him?"
"Peter. I like Peter." He said.
"Peter. Peter Parker." May smiled. "I like it." She smiled at the sleeping baby.
There was silence.
"Well, would you look at the time? It's getting really late, and little Peter shouldn't be out this late." Tony said, breaking the intense silence. "May, you best get home." He said walking her to the door, and gesturing a look toward a saddened Stephen.
"Oh yes, Peter must get sleep." She said, letting Tony guide her to her car.
Not long, Peter was safely straddled in a baby seat in the backseat of May's care.
Stephen watched from one of the many windows of the Sanctum. Tony said his goodbyes and hugged May. May noticed Stephen glancing out the window.
"Don't worry Stephen. I will take good care of him. I will protect him. I promise." She waved and got in the car, driving away soon.
Rain began to pour, and water droplets slid down the window Stephen was glaring out of. His eyes had small pools of tears, Tony placed a hand on Stephen's back and gently rubbed circles upon it.
"I have attachment issues." Stephen let out.
Tony smiled. "I know Wizard." He kissed Stephen's forehead.
