imagine; you and alex break up.

you're in alex's back garden, sitting on the edge of the pool next to your boyfriend.

alex has his arm wrapped around you and you're resting your head on his shoulder.

however, a text message ruins the cute moment.

you unlock your phone and read the message.

it's a picture of alex and jessica and another message comes through.

you push alex's arm of you and stand up.

"what's the matter babe?"

you're at a loss for words, you're afraid you'll cry if you say anything.

so you shove your phone in his face, showing him the message.

alex grabs the phone and stands away from the pool.

"(Y/N), this is bullshit. it must have been taken from when i dated jess."

you shake your head. you know it's a lie, because it's the exact same outfit he wore yesterday and his hair was shorter when he was with jessica.

"no. i'm sorry. i need some space. bye alex."

you run out of his garden and out of the back gate.

as you run, alex shouts after you.

"(Y/N), please don't go!" but, it's too late. you're too far away to hear his pleads.

when alex can't see you anymore, his heart breaks into a million pieces and he breaks down.
