"Don't worry baby... I will protect you. I will always protect you." She said while running, breathing heavily.

Welcome to Mount Olympus, the world of gods! These gates separate the mortals from the gods, only gods may enter here. Or of course their demigod children...

"Is there anything I can do for you Queen Athena?"

"Yes, I want you to get me Artemis."

"I'll get her right away." With that, the fairy walk away and do what she is told to do.

"How much longer must I wait for you?" Athena mumble to herself.

"What is it Athena, and why are you standing up here?" Artemis shoot her question straight away.

"Look down there and tell me what you see Artemis."

"I see the gates of Mount Olympus. Why do you ask?"

"It has been 18 years since we held our daughters Artemis that's why... "

"You can't burden yourself with this, our daughters are fine and are together."

"Let me guess Poseidon went to check on his son right?"

"Well yeah..."

"I don't understand how he got the right and we didn't!" Athena let her anger out.

"It's because he can walk away from his son whenever he pleases, he doesn't care like we do. If we went down there...we'd never want to come back without them."

"It's not fair, I'd rather be with her than be a god any day."

"You know that's not true Athena, we did this to protect them. You need to remember they aren't full gods, they're only half..."

"Demigods... That's what they are."

"They belong in a world with people who are like them and you know that."

"They might be half human but they are still half god, so they belong here!"

"Stop being so selfish Athena! Our girls wouldn't have survived here, Zeus would have kill them. And not just our girls but Poseidon and Hades sons too! He doesn't want our children alive and until they can protect themselves... They will never walk through the gates of Olympus!" Too tired to repeat the same thing everytime, Artemis walk away.

"I see you pissed off Artemis again, what happened?"

"Oh look the all mighty Poseidon has returned to grace us with his presence." Athena reply while corssing her arms.

"All I did was ask what happened, I didn't ask for your attitude Athena!"

"If you really must know, I'm just watching."

"I can see that, but why?"

"That's none of your concern."

"You're waiting for her, aren't you?"

Athena did not reply, instead she continue looking down at the gates.

"Athena she's not coming none of them are, and we both know that."

"How is she?"

"She's perfectly fine, she seems to be taking a very good care of herself. But most importantly she's happy... All of our children are, seeing them happy down there makes me feel like we did the right thing all those years ago."

"How do you do it?"

"Do what?"

"How are you able to face your son every time you go down there and just walk away?"

Posiedon sighed "Because I don't have a choice... Believe me the way I treat him is awful, but it's the only way I can keep him at a safe distance. It's not all love and happiness seeing the kids Athena. It's hard knowing they live there in a world of pretend and not where they truly belong."

"When can they come back Poseidon?"

"They can only come back when they find out the truth on their own, that's when they'll be strong enough. Don't forget they will have to come home,this is their legacy after all."
