《The wings of the lost. A ouat PeterPan Maleficent story》Fey and Lost

The day was warm, the boys at the training grounds for the day. I turn to the bedroom, walking inside. Eden was asleep, her back to me as her wings curled around her. I smiled at how cute she looked, sitting next to her. "Eden." I shake her gently. Eden whines, curling her wings around her tighter. "Eden." I smiled. Eden woke up, lifting her head at me. "Hey love, I have a surprise for you."
"What?" She asked, half asleep still.
"I looked at your wound and it's healed enough that you can start walking again."
"Really?" Her mood seemed to change to happy. I nod, suddenly being attacked in a hug. "You're the best." She smiled.
"I know." I brag. Eden hit be playfully which only got me to laugh. "Felix, Juniper, Borra and Winter are heading to the Nest to gather a few followers. Felix wanted you to come with." Eden took no time before getting off of me and running to the door. "Hey be careful out there." I turn my head to her, sitting up. "And be careful with that ankle."
"Okay bye." She smiled, slamming the door in my face.
Felix, Borra, Juniper, Winter and I landed on the side of the rocks, using the horns on our wings to keep up as we catch our breath. Felix had talked about us going back to the nest just to get a few other followers for those who still followed Felix. I knew it was dangerous but I couldn't ignore the chief so I agreed.
"You don't have to do this. I'm not making you do it. I can always go alone." Felix breathed, half out of breath. I brush the hair out of my face.
"We're not letting you go alone." Juniper told him to try and put him at ease.
"And remember we need to be careful. We don't know what kind of lies Sam has told about us." Felix tells us. I honestly just wanted to get in there so that I could talk to Sam about how he's an idiot for challenging Felix.
"Kay." I smile, jumping off of the rocks and diving under the nest with Winter and Juniper, flying in. Waiting for the others, the brothers flew in behind us I beat my wings, making my way through the nest. I soon hear screaming coming from somewhere. Following it, I arrived in the council room. The leader of each tribe were there, Sam by the throne with his wings flailed.

"He claims to be the chief! But where was he that day? The day we needed a leader! He fled, ran like the coward he is! It's time this nest has a true leader. Felix has manipulated everyone to think he is their leader but he isn't. First Borra, our strongest fighter, then Juniper, then my own Winter. It's time he pays for his crimes!" Sam yelled. The men chant in agreement.
"Are you sure about that?" Felix grabs my hand but I brush him off, keeping him hidden as I approach the shocked council with Winter and Juniper.
"Winter. Are you alright? Where have you been?" Sam asked as I walk to the throne. I turn to the council. I saw Maleficent listening in where Felix and Peter would normally be as kids. She looked intrigued whereas before she looked annoyed.
"Felix is the chief we need, to rule us as his father before him. What happened that day when the kingdom out there was tragic but Sam has lied. People aren't as bad as we want to believe. Ask me, ask Felix, ask Maleficent. I've lived with them and from what I've seen, they are innocent."
"Eden sto-" I cut Sam off.
"Sam said they are out for blood, to attack and kill us off but they aren't. People are amazing and kind and respectful. I may not have known Felix for long but I know that he deserves his throne. He leads out of respect, understanding his fellow Fey and doesn't rule with fear and intimidation unlike some of us here." Juniper
snaps at Sam.
"He left." Sam snarled at her.
"No, you scared him off. You think if you can scare the boy away then you can get his throne but I know there are people in this nest who will not fly with Sam. Spread the word. Whoever decides to stay with Sam then stay but there is an island just East of here. Maleficent knows the way and will lead who who want to join Felix tonight at dusk. It's time we stop hiding and take back what is ours." I looked at Sam. "He will be coming for you, and it won't be pretty."
"Save your threats darling." He smirks. I turn around and fly over to Felix as he came out of the shadows. I could hear people gasping as he wraps his wing around Winter, placing a kiss on her head. She rest her head on his chest as we walked out of the council cave.

"Wait." We stopped, turning around. At least half the council members stepped away from the crowd. "Can you truly be the chief we need?" The man asked.
"Yes. Sam isn't the chief you want. He thinks he can use fear to get people to follow him but in reality, it isn't how you rule. It isn't how my father ruled."
"How long are you going to be staying?" He asked again.
"Until dusk. Get the word out. The chief has returned to the Nest and he's looking for his followers. Tell your children, loved ones." Maleficent lands next to us. The men nod, flying off.
"Thanks for that." Felix smiled at her.
"Don't thank me, thank your friends for helping you. They've been with you through thick and thin. They've risked their lives for you, opening their homes. I simply helped spread the word."
Borra looked at Eden, Juniper and Winter, gesturing to leave which they did. Maleficent gave a blank stare but I knew something was going on.
"I've never had a good connection with the people of the village. I fell in love with one when I was a girl. We would play forever until he had to leave. He was all alone like I was. He was my first kiss. But when we grew apart, it was hard. He finally returned for a night and we caught up by the river we always played in. He poisoned me and took my wings for the king to become king. I got back by cursing his daughter."
"She can only be woken by true love's kiss, I've heard of it." I nod.
"Some friends of mine took her in and raised her in the Moors. I kept an eye on her but I didn't realize I had grown fond of her. I eventually found out that I was the true love she was looking for. I became a mother to her since I killed her father and her mother died of sickness. I've seen the evil in people but also the good. Your father wasn't in a friendship with man but I saw he saw the good in people, he saw they weren't that bad. You get that from your father."
"Thank you." I said, both of us staying quiet. "You lost your parents at a young age, to man. Do you still remember them?"
"Yes, in my dreams. They died from an iron blade while trying to get me to the Moors."
"You weren't born in the Moors?"
"No. I was born in the kingdom but that night, my parents went to the Moors but someone got them. My mother got me to the guards of the Moors but the men got her. You were lucky your parents could raise you enough to become chief. I had the chance of meeting your father that day before he died. He wanted to give you this." She holds a necklace in her hand, a pair of wings. I take it carefully. It was made from iron, but a certain, rare kind that only the chief wore. "This amulet was handed down from father to father and now to you. That contains all the chief's power and if Sam sees you wearing that, he will try to take it."
"I'm aware." I nod at her. Maleficent nods back.
"Felix, come on." Winter chuckled, waiting for me. I put the necklace on, looking back at Maleficent.
"Wait until dusk. I'll be there." She gave me a smile. I smiled back at her, running to Winter as we dived down into the tunnel, disappearing.
The night was beautiful, the stars lighting the sky. The boys danced around the fire happily but still no sign of Felix, Borra, Winter or Eden. I was starting to worry. A boy looked up in the sky, causing everyone to look at the sky. I was astonished to see a cloud of shades or brown, white and grey just covering the sky. I couldn't help but smile proudly at what Felix had done, getting his nest back.
Felix walked over to me, trouble written over his face. "What, what's wrong?" I ask, knowing that face.
"We need to attack. We got as many as we could and that was most of the nest but he still has a big army. It's only a matter of time he comes after us."
"And Greg and Tamara know about the Fey so they left for the nest. You need to tell them."
"I know. I know." He sighs.
