Miles turned on the PS4, turned on Injustice 2 and took turns.
Miles is Scarecrow, Mika is Starfire, Chapa is Enchantress, Weston is Poison Ivy, Bose is Gorilla Grodd, Schwoz is Sub-Zero and Ray is Robin.

Bose got a mini piano and started playing silently.
Chapa woke up and walked over to him.
Chapa: Can I sit next to you?
Bose: Sure.
Chapa: What are you doing?
Bose: I'm playing on my mini piano, I like music so I'm trying to write my own songs. Don't tell anyone though.
Chapa: You're secrets safe with me.
Bose: Thank you, I wrote you a song.
Chapa: I'll like to hear it.
Bose: 🎵 You're eyes are like chocolate 🎵 Your hair is silky smooth 🎵 I love everything about you 🎵 and all I care about is you 🎵.

Chapa: Eh, it could use some work... but it's the thought that counts.
Bose: Can I kiss you?
Chapa blushed hard.

They leaned against each other and kissed.
Bose: That was nice 😍🥴.
Chapa: I have something to tell you, last night I had a dream that we were fighting book thief Steven, Betty Blade and the Butcher, we defeated them and... we kissed.
Bose gently held Chapa's hands.

They kissed one more time and then went to their tent.

A Standard Model of Magic is a complete overhaul of my old story A Storm in the Fall. I'm afraid I was unhappy with the LitRPG elements, which I don't mind reading, but I apparently loath writing. Sorry. Once I'd made the choice to decouple the story from the OF that inspired it and reconfigure the magic system to my satisfaction, little of the original plotline survived. I will be salvaging most of my original characters, and I will keep some elements which are endemic to the genre, but that is all. I don't have an update schedule which I can commit to yet, but I will try to maintain a weekly pace.(This is currently RoyalRoad exclusive, since I'm lazy.
