《Timberlake Tales》Andy Meet Tommy

Wednesday comes by quickly and that means it's time for Andrea to finally meet Kathy and her son, Tommy. I had told Andrea about meeting Kathy and her son, she's happy to meet them. Even by this morning she gets up early and gets ready. She wakes me up, since I thought a thief entered our home.

I hear someone moving stuff around in Andy's room and that gets me a bit worried. I enter the room and find Andy stuffing things into her mint green backpack. I scratch my head. "Andy, why are you up so early?" I ask her.

"I have to get ready, Daddy." Andy continues to stuff her backpack.

"Princess, we don't need to get ready so early. We're meeting Kathy and Tommy in the afternoon." I walk from behind her and sit on the floor. As Andy is about to put her iPod inside the front pocket of her backpack, I grab her to a stop. "Go back to sleep, Andy. It's too early, let's finish this later."

She snatches back. "No. I want to get ready now! I want to meet Kathy right now!"

"You never said that when you met Cameron. Why Kathy?" I sit back with my arms leaning back.

"Kathy is better than Cameron. I never liked Cameron! I like Kathy!" She yells, forcefully pushing Wish Bear inside the backpack.

"Shh, calm down. God, I was just asking a simple question." I sit up and pull her hands away from the backpack. "Hey, why don't we make some breakfast? Maybe that'll help keep your mind off of this for a while." I say, giving her a sweet smile.

Andy slowly curls her lips and nods. "What does Miss. Andy want for breakfast today?" I get up from the floor.

"Miss. Andy would like some scrambled eggs, please." She says, wrapping her arms around my leg.

I hoist Andy to right hip. "Then let's go make some scrambled eggs for Miss. Andy, then." I kiss her cheek.

"Daddy!" She giggles and I take us to the kitchen to make some breakfast.

I close the driver's door and buckle my seatbelt. "You got your seatbelt on, Andy?" I ask, turning around to make sure.

"Yes, sir." She sits innocently.

I turn back and face the front. I start the car and check if there's any issues with the car. Pretty soon, we are in the road going to Kathy's house. We're picking Kathy and Tommy, but Kathy is driving since I don't know where the beach she was talking about last night is located.

I didn't tell Kathy that I'm taking her to Kathy's house because I know how Andy would get so excited she wouldn't control her excitement. So, I'm keeping it a secret.

Driving to Kathy doesn't seem a long drive to get to, but it's traffic that makes it seem like a long drive. "Daddy, can we turn on the radio? I'm bored." Andy complains.

"Sure." I say, turning on the radio. I search through the radio stations, and stick with some Beatles music.

"Daddy, can we play some modern music?" Andy asks.

"But this is modern music." I insist.

"No, this is old music. I want to listen to new music." Andy argues.

"Fine, fine." I change the radio station to a newer radio station.

Moving from stations, I get to a station where Andy stops and I automatically know the song. It's Britney's song, Oops!. . . I Did It Again.

"Daddy, I like this song. I wanna listen to it." She says, singing along.

I'm not sure if I should tell Andy that the girl singing in the song is her mother. The mom that left her when she was just a baby. When Andy sings through the song she is so into the so and music that I feel like she acts like her mom. She does look partly like her mom. Her blond wavy hair, like Britney. Same nose, like Britney. Same smile. The difference is she has my eyes and attitude. The song ends and starts to play some Destiny's Child music.

"Daddy, what's this radio station? I like it. It might even be better than the latest music." Andy leans over to get a glance of the radio station.

I tell her the radio station and she sings along to late 90's and early 2000's music. It's not until the radio had to play my song, Cry Me A River.

Andy plays cool and starts to sing along to the track. "Cry me a river, oh, cry me a river." She sings.

I start laughing and sing along with her. Not long enough until we arrive at Kathy's house. I leave Andy and the radio on and quickly get Kathy and Tommy. Andy thinks that we are at a friends house, and I'm picking up some equipment I left when I came over.

But the truth is we're at Kathy's house. I rush over and ring her doorbell. I take some glances at Andy to make sure she's in the car distracted. The door opens up, and I see Kathy dressed in a flattering peach sundress with some simple sandles. I look up and see she got herself some frontal bangs and her long hair is shorten to her shoulders where her curls touch. But she still looks amazingly hot. "Hey, J. You like my new look?" She plays with her curls.

"You look h-hot, Kathy." I stutter.

"Why, thank you." She hides behind the door. "You don't so bad yourself." She turns back like she's checking on something.

"Uh, Andy's in the car if you're wondering. I didn't tell her we'd be meeting you at your house." I awkwardly say.

Kathy turns back to me. "No, it's okay. Tommy doesn't know that you're picking us up either." She faces back to the other direction. "It'll just take one minute. Hold on." She leaves and runs out leaving me outside standing.

Looking at Kathy makes me feel tingly inside. She makes me feel nervous even being around her. I hear Kathy come back but she's not alone. I hear another voice come along, must be Tommy. "Okay." Kathy walks to the door holding a short dark brown haired boy with her. He's very light skin like his mom, and on his face his expression looks like a shy, nervous little boy.

"Justin, I want you to meet my son, Tommy. Tommy this is Mommy's friend, Justin." Kathy holds Tommy's little hand.

"Hey, little man. What's up?" I say trying to be cool.

Tommy is frightened and hides behind Kathy's legs. "Tommy, it's okay. Justin isn't going to hurt you." Kathy tries to calm him. "We're going to have fun, buddy. Remember we're going to the beach today. Maybe you can play with Justin's daughter Andrea." But Tommy clutches tighter on his mom's leg.

"If you want, I can wait in the outside." I whisper to Kathy.

Kathy nods in approval and I go get Andy out of the car. I open Andy's door and unbuckle her seatbelt. "What's going on, Daddy?" She wonders my behavior.

"You're going to meet Kathy and Tommy?" I say

"What?! Right now?"

"Yes!" I smile.

"Oh my God, where are they? Does my face look fine? Is my hair perfect?" I knew Andrea would act this way.

"Relax, Andy. You look fine. Kathy is going to think you're—" I begin.

"Super cute." I hear behind me. I step back and see Kathy and Tommy behind me.

"Kathy!" I jump. "Uh, this is—"

"Andrea, but like being called Andy. Nice to me you, Kathy. You look really pretty. I love your blue hair by the way." Andy speaks quickly.

Kathy smiles. "Thanks, Andy." She looks down at Tommy. And introduces Tommy to Andrea.

Tommy does the same thing he did with me with Andrea and hides behind her. "Tommy, stop being a scaredy cat and meet Andrea. Quit being rude."

Tommy glances at Andy and gives her a small smile.

"Kathy, how old are you?" Andy asks when Kathy turns a corner.

"I'm twenty-two, beautiful. How old are you?" Kathy replies as I try to touch her hand that lays on the gear shift.

"I'm six. My birthday is the same birthday as my daddy." I'm a few centimeters away from her touch.

"Really? What's the day?" Kathy asks like she's clueless. Even if she does know the date of my birthday, does she?

"January 31th."

"That's awesome, my birthday is on Halloween. Tommy's birthday's in September." Kathy steals glimpses of Tommy. He's looking out the window.

"Lucky, you get to have your birthday on a holiday." Andy comments.

I lay my hand over hers and hold it. "It's quite difficult having a birthday and celebrating Halloween at the same time. We celebrate my birthday the day before or after my birthday but never on my actual birthday. Sometimes we use the leftover candy from Halloween to celebrate my birthday, I think it's quite fun. Do you have a favorite holiday?"

"Christmas because then Daddy can buy me the gifts I want."

"Don't you believe in Santa?" Kathy asks.

"Not anymore. Daddy had to ruin the fun when he told me the truth about Santa Claus."

I act to look innocent in front of Kathy, but Kathy simply laughs it off. We arrive at the beach at the appropriate time where the sun is not too hot to let the heat kills us. I get the bags from the trunk and Andy's toys she brought. Kathy tries to help, but Andy takes her to find a spot to lay down. Tommy follows his mom and they leave me carrying all the bags, but I was okay with it.

Andy and Kathy find a spot to lay our things. It's not too far or close to the water. Kathy pops her big yellow beach umbrella. Then I set my beach chairs one for myself and the other for Kathy. But I see Kathy already lays out her two beach blanket. "Kathy, don't you wanna sit on the chairs?"

"Nah. I wanna get a tan. I look like a pale monster, I need to get a tan." She says hoisting her tote bag she brought. "Alright fellas, Andy and I are going to change into our swimsuits will be back." Kathy takes Andy's hand and leaves to the restrooms.

When Kathy leaves, Tommy's eyes start turn sad. "Tommy, you okay?" He sits on one of the beach blankets.

"Mommy left me." He softly says.

"Don't worry, she'll come back." I sit next to him. "You're going to have so much fun today."

"Don't hurt my mommy like Greg did to Mommy. I hate him for torturing her. I hate seeing Mommy being beaten. I have nightmares that the next guy she dates will be the same. I wish my dad could be here with us. I miss him."

"You don't have to worry about that, Tommy. I'm never going to hurt your mommy. I don't disrespect women. I'm a gentleman." I promise him.

Tommy nods. After a few minutes of talking about random guy stuff, the girls come back and change out of their previous outfits into their swimwear. And Kathy looks amazing in her navy blue two-piece swimwear covered in white stars. Andy in her white one-piece covered with pink polka dots.

I take off my shirt and call that my swimwear. Tommy does the same. "Is that what you guys are wearing when you get in the water?" Kathy questions.

"YES!" I lean into her ear. "Or do you prefer I skinny dip?"

"Justin!" She exclaims. "Who wouldn't like to see you naked in the water." She jokes.

I laugh. "Okay. Another time, we have kids here." I state. "Come on, Andy let's go for a swim." I grab Andy and hoist her up to my hip.

"Wait, Daddy. I need to put some sunscreen on you." She says. She puts sunscreen on my face and chest and arms. Afterwards, I put some on her.

"Okay, we're set. Let's go." I walk us to the water and when we meet the water Andy jumps off from and dives into the water.

She rises from the water. "Catch me, Daddy!" She calls.

I spend about twenty minutes trying to catch Andy in the water, but she's too fast. That is when I see another figure from behind her and catches her from behind. Andy screams and I dash to the rescue, but when I see that the person who catched her is Tommy I feel fine. The two start giggling and splash each other with water. I leave them alone and let them play for a while. I return to our beach spot. I come back and see that Kathy's lying on her stomach letting her back get a tan. I laugh and start to think of a prank to mess with Kathy.

I quietly move aside and go grab Andy's backpack where I remembered she packed a mini water gun. Thank God it's already been filled with water. I take the water gun and sneak from behind Kathy, prepare the gun for launching water. In three, two, one. . .

"What the heck?" Kathy begins to question. I continue to shoot water at her.

Kathy turns to her side to see me shooting water towards her. "Hey!" She rapidly stands up and tries to take the water gun away from me, but I keep shooting water. I run away when I find the water gun runs out of water.

"Justin, you're going to pay for that!" Kathy runs after me. Her face and hair is wet after shooting water at her.

I run around the beach stealing glances at people as I ran. Running to the restrooms I surrender and let Kathy punish me, since I'm out of breath.

"Ju-ustin, that was not funny!" She tries to catch her breath. "Wait until. . ." I stop her at mid-sentence when I hoist her up and carry her by my shoulder. "Justin, put me down!" She giggles.

I ignore her and take her into the water. In the water I pull Kathy to my waist. She holds on to my shoulders. "Justin, take me back. Now!" She says gripping on my shoulders tighter.

I laugh and splash her water to her face. Kathy gasps and tries to splash me water. She misses and I drop her into the water. We take about fifteen minutes with our water war until I stop the war and kiss Kathy. I don't mind kissing her in public I'm really into it. I love it. Nothing could stop me from kissing her, well except Andy and Tommy.

Maybe Kathy and I can work out. I want us to work out. I want her and only her. I think I might even fall in love with her and that scares me. Maybe in a good way.
