《Lost Without You (A Justin Timberlake FanFiction)》Chapter Twenty Four

*Ariana's POV*
It's been a month since Alex asked me to be his girlfriend. My life has never been more perfect. I have an amazing boyfriend, amazing family and amazing friends. Everything is amazing! It's kind of feels to good to be true considering what my daily life drama consists of.
Today is Saturday, which means no school. Dad decided that he was taking me golfing. He said we need some 'Father Daughter Bonding Time'. He probably just wants to make sure Alex and I haven't done anything yet, which we haven't. Alex and I have talked about it and we both agreed we will probably wait till marriage. Who knows what will happen in five years from now?
"C'mon Ariana! Let's go!" Dad called. I was still in my bedroom. I finished putting my hair in a pony tail and quickly went downstairs. I of course had my 'golfing clothes' on. I recently got this outfit since I don't own any 'golfing clothes'. I have never been golfing before, which means I have no idea what to do. Wow, this is a first. Haha! I guess there's a first time for everything.
"Have fun." Jess smiled at us.
"We will." Dad and I said. We then left the house in his Black Cadillac SUV. He drove us to the country club and we drove in the golf cart to the first hole.
"You do realize that I have no idea what I'm doing, right?" I asked him. He chuckled and nodded.
"You prepared me ahead of time." He said. He grabbed a golf club from the golf bag that I borrowed from Jess. "Come here." He said. I followed him to where I am supposed to hit the ball. He put the ball on the ground and looked at me. "You ready?" He asked me. I nodded and he handed me the gold club. I stood next to the ball and Dad stood close to me, adjusting my position. "Alright you're looking good." He nodded.
"Now what?" I asked him.
"Just swing." He smiled. I nodded and focused. I then swung and the ball flew into the air. Dad then began to clap. I looked at him and saw him proudly smiling.
"What? Was that good?" I asked him.
"Yeah! That was really good for your first time." He nodded and smiled. "Are you sure you haven't played before?" He chuckled.
"Positive." I laughed.
"Must've inherited my basketball and golf skills." He smiled as he grabbed his own golf club. I laughed and nodded.
"One of the many things I did inherit from you." I said. He chuckled and positioned himself. He then hit the ball and it went way farther than mine did. "Woah." I said.
"What?" He asked me.
"That was awesome. I knew you were good, but I didn't think you were that good!" I smiled.
"Thanks." He smiled. We then got back in the gold cart and drove it closer to where the hole ended. We finished this hole and went on to the next one.
Wow, no questions about Alex yet. This might just be a record! I'm feeling proud!

"So how are you and Alex doing?" He asked me. Well never mind about the new record thing.
"Great." I smiled and nodded.
"He treating you good?" He asked me. I laughed and nodded.
"Treats me like a princess." I smiled.
"He should treat you like a queen." He said.
"Really Dad?" I asked him. He chuckled and nodded.
"You're my daughter, you deserve to be treated like a queen." He said.
"He treats me amazingly well Dad." I laughed.
"Good enough for me." He said.
"How are you and Jess? Does she treat you like a king?" I laughed.
"She sure does." He laughed. "How's school?" He asked me.
"Good. Counting down the days till graduation." I smiled. He laughed and nodded.
"I know you are." He said.
"How's the band doing?" I asked him.
"Great." He smiled. "You're coming to their first show right? It's at Baze's bar." He said.
"Of course I'm coming! Can Alex come too?" I smiled.
"Sure." He nodded.
"Who's all gonna be there?" I asked him.
"Basically everyone. Jay and Bey might be there." He said.
"I haven't seen them in forever." I smiled.
"They're going to be going on tour and they want Jess, you and I to go to their concert in New York. You in?" He smiled at me.
"Of course!" I smiled.
"It's in a couple weeks." He smiled.
"I can't wait." I smiled.
"Oh, Ellen and Portia might be there too." He told me.
"Yes!" I cheered.
We finished all of our holes and drove the golf cart back to the country club.
"You want to eat some lunch here?" He asked me.
"Sure." I nodded. We went to the country club's restaurant and we were seated at a table for two. Our waiter handed us menus and left us.
"What are you going to get for lunch?" He asked me as he looked at his own menu.
"I don't know yet." I shrugged as I looked at my menu.
"I might get a burger." He said.
"A burger at a country club?" I laughed. He laughed and nodded.
"Yes! I am thee Justin Timberlake, I can eat what I want." He smiled.
"Wow I didn't know you were thee Justin Timberlake." I said sarcastically.
"That's right, your old man is thee Justin Timberlake." He laughed. I laughed and shook my head.
"You must be a rock star." I said.
"I sure am." He smiled. I laughed at him and then he laughed along with me. Our waiter then came back.
"Have you two decided yet?" He asked us.
"Could we please have a couple more minutes?" Dad smiled at him.
"Of course Mr Timberlake." The waiter winked at my Dad. He then walked away and we looked at each other.
"Did he just?" I slowly asked him.
"Yeah." Dad slowly nodded his head.
"Wow Dad." I laughed. He chuckled and shook his head.
"We have to tell Jess about this." He said.

"Oh we will." I laughed. Soon we ordered our food and it quickly came. As we ate we talked and laughed about things. The waiter brought the check and Dad looked at it. He then paid with his credit card, so we had to wait for the receipt and his credit card.
"Here you go Mr Timberlake." The waiter smiled at him.
"Thanks." Dad Said. Dad looked down at the receipt and then back at the waiter. He looked shocked.
"Call me Mr Timberlake." The waiter smiled as he walked away. I looked at my Dad in shock.
"Please tell me he didn't give you his number." I tried my best not to laugh. Dad sighed and held up the receipt.
"He did." He said. I then laughed so hard.
"Looks like we just found you a boyfriend." I laughed.
"I am married Ariana and I'm straight!" He laughed.
"Whatever you say." I said. He looked down at the receipt and back at me. He then chuckled.
"C'mon let's get out of here Kid." He said. We then left the country club and went to his car. Surprisingly no paparazzi were waiting for us.
"Wow no paparazzi." I said as we got into the SUV. Then they suddenly came out from nowhere and ran over to the car.
"Spoke to soon." Dad sighed.
"Justin! Ariana! Just one picture!" One said. He quickly turned the car on and sped away.
"They're annoying." I sighed.
"Amen sister, amen." He said with a southern accent as he drove. I turned to look at him. Did he really just say that? He looked at me and frowned. "What?" He asked me.
"Don't talk like that." I shook my head.
"Why not?" He chuckled.
"You're my Dad! You aren't supposed to talk like that." I laughed.
"Girl I can talk anyway I want." He said in a high pitched voice while he snapped his fingers.
"Something is seriously wrong with you." I laughed.
"I know." He nodded. "But just think, you probably inherited it from me and it just hasn't shown up yet." He smiled.
"Oh no, I'm the normal one in this family." I said.
"You are far from normal." He laughed.
"But I'm close to it." I smiled.
"Just a little close." He said.
"Thank you!" I smiled.
"Soon my daughter. Soon you will become crazy like me." He smiled at me.
"Over my dead body." I laughed.
"One of these days. Just wait and see." He laughed. We soon pulled up to the house and parked in the garage. The receipt sat on the console and I grabbed it. "What are you doing with that?" He asked me.
"I'm going to show this to Jess and tell her you're leaving her for the waiter at the country club." I laughed. I quickly got out of the car before he could grab the receipt from my hand. I then ran inside the house with him running after me.
"Ariana Justine Timberlake, I'm gonna kill you!" He said as we ran. I laughed and continued running.
"Jess! Where are you?" I yelled.
"Kitchen!" She yelled. I ran inside and saw her.
"Dad's leaving you for the waiter at the country club." I laughed. I showed her the receipt and then Dad ran in after me.
"Wow Justin, I didn't know you were gay." She laughed.
"Neither did I." He laughed.
"Was the waiter cute?" She asked me.
"Eh." I shrugged.
"What do you think Justin? Was the waiter cute?" She laughed at him. I laughed along with her.
"Haha. Very funny." He stuck his tongue out at us.
"You better go make that phone call." She handed him the receipt and smiled.
"Nah I'm good." He smiled.
"You sure?" She laughed.
"Yeah, I gotta a pretty sexy wife right here." He grinned at Jess.
"Oh you do?" She smirked at him. Ew, this is so weird.
"Reminder, your daughter is in the room." I glared at them.
"Then we'll leave the room and go upstairs." Dad grinned. He picked up Jess and carried her out of the room.
"Justin!" She laughed as he carried her. She looked at me and laughed. She was probably laughing at the grossed out facial expression I had on my face.
"I'm leaving!" I yelled as I ran out of the kitchen and grabbed my keys from the table by the front door.
"Bye!" Dad and Jess yelled as Dad carried her upstairs.
"This is so disgusting!" I groaned as I quickly went to the door that leads into the garage.
"Come back in a couple hours! We're gonna be awhile!" Dad laughed as he yelled. A couple hours? Oh God this is so gross.
"TMI, Dad! TMI!" I yelled. I then heard a door slam shut and I went to the garage. I got in my car and drove off.
This is officially the grossest, weirdest and traumatic experience of my whole life. Sadly, I'm only seventeen so I'm sure there will be many many more to come.

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
