《Lost Without You (A Justin Timberlake FanFiction)》Chapter One

*Ariana's POV*
"It feels good to be back." Dad smiled as we walked into our house. Yeah, for you it is. For me, not so much.
Dad's tour just ended and now we are back home in LA. Tomorrow I go back to school. Which means I have to face everyone there. Which I am not looking forward to. The only people I'll be happy to see is Lacy, Stephen and Jonathan.
The media found out about how Alex and I dated and then broke up. They of course twisted the truth a lot. Some stories were that he cheated on me, that my dad broke us up and that I cheated on him with another band member. Alright the last one was kind of true, but I didn't cheat on him with another band member. I cheated on him with my EX boyfriend. There's a difference.
I sighed and looked around the house. I haven't been here since the concert in LA.
"Just think, this is a time for a fresh start." Jess told me.
"It sure is." I said. She smiled at me and walked away. "I'm gonna go unpack." I said, grabbing my two large suitcases. They both are very heavy.
"Here I'll help you." Dad Said as he went to grab one of my suitcases. I pulled it away.
"I got it." I said. He looked at me and slowly nodded his head. I carried my suitcases up to my room, laid them on the floor and laid on my large bed.
It's so good to be home. Hence the sarcasm in that whole sentence.
*Justin's POV*
"Just give her time Justin. She's probably still stressed out about everything." Jess told me. I sighed and nodded.
"Alright." I said. She came up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck.
"We're finally home." She smiled.
"Home sweet home." I smiled. Right when we were about to kiss the doorbell rung. I sighed and went to answer it.
"Welcome home!" Jimmy,Nancy and Winnie all smiled.
"Hey!" I smiled. I hugged them all and let them come inside.

"Hey guys!" Jess smiled. She then hugged them all.
"Where's Ariana?" Jimmy asked us.
"Upstairs." I told him.
"I'll get her." Jimmy smiled. He walked over to the bottom of the staircase. "Ariana you're favorite Godparents and Godsister are here!" He yelled. We then heard Ariana's door open and she ran out to the top of the staircase. She smiled and ran down the stairs. Jimmy held his arms out and she practically jumped into them.
"I missed you so much kid." Jimmy smiled.
"I missed you too." She smiled. She then went over to Nancy and they hugged. Then she hugged Winnie. It's good to see her happy for once. All of the tour she wasn't happy. She's still having a heard time with everything. Her breakdown was what changed her. Then her and Alex's relationship and breakup got into the news,so that just made everything worse for her.
"Can we go play outside?" Winnie asked Ariana. She smiled and nodded.
"Yeah. Let's go." She smiled. The two then went to the backyard to play.
"How is she?" Jimmy asked us.
"Better. Still not the best, but better." Jess said. Jimmy and Nancy both nodded their heads.
"I'm sure with time she'll get back to normal." Nancy reassured us. Jess and I both nodded our heads.
"Maybe we could get her into counseling or something." Jess said.
"She won't do counseling." I shook my head.
"Why not?" Jess frowned.
"Because she's to stubborn for that. She doesn't like to talk to us, why talk to a stranger?" I said. Jess sighed and nodded. "We'll figure something out." I said.
"Maybe getting her back in school will help her." Jimmy said.
"I don't know though. Will will be there." Jess sighed. I sighed and rubbed my eyes with my hands.
"I just wish everything would go back to normal and she would be happy again." I sighed.
"Why don't you just homeschool her or put her in another school?" Nancy suggested.
"She said she doesn't want to change schools. She wants to still be with Lacy,Stephen and Jonathan." I explained to them.

We honestly don't know what we're going to do.
*Ariana's POV*
"Where did you,Uncle Justin and Aunt Jess go?" Winnie asked me as I pushed her in a swing.
"We went on tour around the world." I told her.
"Did you have fun?" She asked me. I sighed and nodded.
"Yeah. I sure did." I smiled. Of course I didn't,but she wouldn't understand, she's only five.
"Are you and Alex still friends?" She asked me. I frowned and shook my head.
"No not anymore." I sighed.
"Why?" She asked. She must be in the stage where kids ask a lot of questions.
"Something happened." I answered.
"What happened?" She asked me. Alright now it's time to change the subject.
"Why don't we play some basketball?" I asked her. She cheered, jumped off the swing and ran to the basketball court. I sighed and followed her to the court. She already grabbed a basketball and shot it in the hoop. She actually made it!
"Yay!" She smiled.
"Good job." I smiled. She's actually pretty good for a five year old! Maybe we'll have another basketball star in the family.
*Justin's POV*
"Ariana's birthday is in two weeks. Maybe a party will help her." I suggested.
"We could make it a surprise party. Lacy,Jonathan and Stephen can help us invite people." Jess said.
"Jess and I can plan it." Nancy Said.
"Justin and I can be the entertainment." Jimmy laughed. I laughed and nodded.
"No!" Our wives said.
"Fine." Jimmy and I groaned.
"We can have it here!" Jess smiled.
"Finally something we can plan!" Nancy smiled.
"I can't believe she's going to be seventeen." I said.
"Don't cry Justin!" Jimmy laughed.
"Don't you cry either!" I laughed.
"I'll bring the tissues!" He laughed.
"Sounds like a plan." I smiled.
"Justin you have to make a big speech at her party." Nancy told me.
"Great another speech Jimmy can interrupt." I said.
"One time Justin! One time!" Jimmy said.
"One time to many!" I laughed.
"I thought you forgave me for that?" He asked me.
"Yeah I did,but I can still make jokes about it right?" I smiled.
"Yeah. I guess so." He shrugged.
"Good because I have a lot of jokes." I said.
"Well just say them now, so we can get it over with." He said.
"Not yet, Fallon. It's not the right time." I shook my head. Jimmy looked at me and sighed.
"Whatever." He said.
"C'mon let's go outside and see what Ariana and Winnie are doing." Jess suggested. We all walked out to the backyard and saw them playing basketball.
"Team Fallon!" Jimmy cheered. The girl's looked at us and laughed.
"Whatever! More like team Timberlake!" I cheered.
"I guess we should just determine who will win in a game. Timberlakes versus Fallons." Jimmy said.
"Oh it's on." I said. "C'mon Jess and Ariana! Huddle up!" I said to my family. They both laughed and we huddled up on the court.
"Alright I'll cover Jimmy, Ariana cover Nancy and Jess cover Winnie." I told them.
"How come I have to cover Winnie?" Jess asked me.
"Honey, I mean this in the nicest way possible. You aren't very good at basketball." I said. Ariana laughed and Jess sent her one of her 'looks'.
"Alright. I'll show you." Jess said.
"Alright let's beat the crap out of these people." I smiled. We put our hands in middle of our circle. "Team Timberlake on three! One two three!" I smiled.
"Team Timberlake!" We all three cheered. We walked to the middle of the court where the Fallons waited for us.
"Let's go Timberlake." Jimmy smirked at me.
"Bring it on." I smirked. I will never get tired of beating Jimmy in a game of basketball.

Billy needs to get into World Building High, the top school when it comes to building and designing worlds of all shapes and sizes. And they're very strict with who they let in. Billy is one of the students expected to get in, but the school evaluates all the worlds a God's made during their entire life. And Billy's first world is everything that the school abhors. Billy's only hope for getting in? He has to raise a team from his world, comprising of the best of the best. To steal the system of another world and use it to replace his own, dooming the other in the process. The team he's created from his world's inhabitants? A BloodThirsty Crusader with more orphan murdering than 7th circle demons. An Orc prodigy of blood magic who faints at the first bit of gore she sees. A drunk Warlock who's responsible for the reason why most wizards are dead. A tax evader Druid who got her hand's on the 9th Edition of Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. And a Blind Dragon Born Ranger, Druid, Sorciesta with a gun. Yep, the only way this could possibly get worse is if the world they were stealing the system from belonged to Principal Sieva, the woman who managed to murder (temporarily) another god. Oh, wait. 8 223The Head That Wears The Crown
It's a tale as old as time. Boy goes to funeral. Boy gets sucked into a different world. Boy has to lead a settlement. Boy has to lead a settlement? Boy has to lead a settlement. This is a story about that settlement, and some other stuff. Maybe. Disclaimer: Not sure if it qualifies enough for a gore tag. There is a description of someone's death somewhere in this, but I don't think it is descriptive enough to justify a gore tag. Disclaimer part deux: I initially started writing this as background for another story but got so into it I just ended fleshing it out a bit. Disclaimer part tres: People love reading disclaimers don't they? It's why I've included so many. They're just for you. Disclaimer part four: I know, this is getting egregious. You're starting to find it less funny. Just wait till the twentieth disclaimer, it will start being funny again. Disclaimer part five: I'm kidding, this is the last one. I don't promise I'll read every comment or message, but I certainly welcome your feedback. Disclaimer part six: I lied, it wasn't the last one. I wrote this story without breaking it down into chapters. It just goes, that means that the chapter ends when it ends, not when there is a convenient break in the story. That means that it's very annoying for you as a reader since chapters can end mid sentence. Hah! Sucker! Disclaimer part seven: Get ready for slow updates. Who knows when this will continue. Toss it on read later and come back in fifty years. Disclaimer part eight: Cover Photo by Arthur Ogleznev on Unsplash
8 157The Due
Every sailor knows the tale of Davy Jones' Locker. That place drowned sailors are sent to, ever resting on sea's bed. Some tales recount of a ghostly ship, the Flying Dutchman. Many a story has spawned from these two tales. Countless retellings mixing in their own fictions. But all stories spawn with a kernel of truth to them, and the story of Davy Jones is no exception. Those who've met the legendary seaman and his ghostly ship might call him a ferryman, escorting the drowned to their respective afterlives. Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod. To top it off, the denizens of Sod's world have their own ambitions to achieve godhood, and they won't take kindly to Sod's newest employee shaking up the status quo. [Traumatizing Content tag is up just to let everyone know this will be a story that deals with different themes of death. Some of them won't be nice and so better to be safe than sorry.]
8 72A Wish Fulfilled
The die is cast and omnipotent beings bow to the result. The world holds still in anticipation of a new actor. A man shall be ripped from his safe reality and cast upon new tapestry, familiar yet alien. His body will be reforged in flames of adversity. His mind, challenged, by crashing waves of doubt. And his soul will dance, to the amusement of those who observe. “Welcome, castaway, to the new world. Partake in its bounties and revel in its beauty, but be mindful of dangers. Your will is unbound and trials aplenty. The wish carried you here and you will define yourself anew. Live, as you see fit. Now, that the contract is fulfilled, it’s time. We shall not meet again, nor will you remember me. Farewell.” A falling star lights the skies and the die continues to roll. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
