"George, do you know who you're going to pick?" Austin asked, causing me to smile nervously.
He'd asked me to do a love or host a couple times now. Although I usually preferred to keep to my own kinda streams, just chilling out with chat and playing some video games, but Twitter convinced me to join this love or host.
I didn't know much about 'Georgenotfound' or who he really was but as soon as we started the zoom call before the stream we clicked straight away.
George smiled confidently, sitting up in his hair as he held the attention of chat for a second.
I glanced at the small square on my screen that showed Minx's face cam. She seemed nowhere near as nervous as I was, instead she was smiling happily to herself. Completely calm.
George nodded slightly, he was looking at a particular part of his screen but none of us could really tell who's face cam he was focused on.
"Yes Austin I believe I have made my decision. The person I'd like to eliminate is..." he held the silence for a second, causing chat to go mad in the corner of my screen.
"Minx."
Less than a second after George said her name my head phones were full of swear words followed by the laughter of George and Austin.
I smiled to myself laughing quietly at Minx's reaction.
Soon enough she was removed from the call after saying her goodbyes to chat, a 'love ya' to me, and a last swear word at George.
Me, Austin and George sat in the call for a second, getting over the giggles that Minx had left.

Once we'd all caught our breath again Austin spoke, trying his best to keep us on track.
"So George has picked his finalist! Y/n! How are you both feeling?"
I smiled at the camera with a small nod "Yeah I'm feeling good! I'm putting my trust in George."
I laughed quietly and glanced at part of my screen that held George's face cam, he was smiling to himself as well.
"I'm feeling good as well, I think we can win this." He nodded slightly and took a sip of his water
Austin laughed slightly "Wow we got a lot of confidence here, are you guys ready for the results?"
I nodded slightly and George hummed in agreement.
"Alright so George put..."
Austin paused for a second, leaving everyone to sit in a suspenseful silence.
"George put... love!"
I let out a breath and tried to hide my smile as George hid his face slightly
"C'mon Y/n don't let me down now." George said with an anxious chuckle which just made me laugh
I could hear Austin's smile in his voice as he spoke.
"Y/n has chosen..."
I glanced at chat with a smile as I watched them freak out.
"Love as well! Congrats guys!"
I laughed happily with a smile as George yelled.
"Let's fucking go! I guess we have a date now." He wiggled his eyebrows weirdly with a giggle
I shook my head slightly with a smile "Yeah yeah, don't get too excited."

He gave me the plot/ concept and, after my own health issues, I wanted to try and brighten his day and provide a distraction from the monotony of their hospital stay. I am posting it on RRL mainly in case anyone else can find enjoyment from the story and to show the readers of my other stories that I am not permanently MIA (and will 100% return to those stories in the future).

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on.
