Riviera Beach, Florida
I held the flowers in my hands as I watched Bria walk down the aisle.
She looked so gorgeous in her wedding dress I just wanted to cry.
Marcel looked at me from the front row, smiling at me. I looked back at him and gave him a smile also and he kissed nai on her forehead and turned his attention back to Bria.
When she reached down the aisle, Quinn took her hand and the ceremony began.
~~~~~~~~~
5pm
We were at the Riviera Beach Marina Village Event Center. It was a beautiful venue and the way it was set up was even better.
I greeted Bria's family and they were all also in awe about baby girl. I even got some tome with my nephew but he was being passed around by both my family, Bria's family, Q's family, and Marcel's. I couldn't help but to laughed they adored him.
Marcel was sitting next to me at our table as I stared at Sanai, playing with her a little.
"You okay baby?" Marcel asked me.
"Yeah I'm fine." I said simply.
"You sure? You've been a little distant and quiet and I notice a weak smile when I see one." He said and I sighed.
"I mean, I greeted everyone I thought I seemed fine." I said.
"I know when you're not ok Jada." He started. "Is this about our wedding why you're acting like that?" He asked.
I didn't say anything. I continued to play with nai until he took her from me, making me look at him.
"Jada." He said simply but sternly.
"Fine. Yes it is. Of course I'm beyond happy for my best friend, but I wish I actually had a wedding too. No one got killed at hers, everyone is here, happy, and mingling. Most importantly, her son is alive." I said sighing.
"I know it's hard ma. There's nothing I could say that will make the situation any better. But what can you do except be happy and thank god the same thing didn't happen to your best friend who's damn near your sister?" He asked and I sighed again, he was right.
"You right... but I need some air. It's all coming back to me a little." I said getting up not giving Marcel the chance to respond. Then I started to walk away.
I was stopped by Bria but I slightly brushed passed her.
I felt tears coming and immediately started to run. I ran out of the venue and onto the beach.
I was doing fine all day, I really was. But everything slowly started to come to reality for me and then Marcel said my thoughts out loud and I couldn't handle it.
My anxiety was starting to get uncontrollable. I started breathing heavy as I looked down at the sand, watching those scenes from that day play over and over again in my head.
I started to run out to the water. My legs were getting weak and suddenly I dropped to my knees.
I didn't even notice tears falling out of my eyes until moments later.
I stared out at the water for a minute, getting myself together.
I can't do this to my best friend, I have to go in there and support her and be there for her. I can cry about it later. I thought to myself.
After about 10 minutes, I began to walk back to the venue.
As I got inside, I went straight to the bathroom to fix my makeup. Lucky thing my dress dried good enough to not be noticeable that it got wet.
As soon as I finished touching up my makeup, I saw Bria wall into the bathroom.
"Jada! I've been looking all over for you! Where've you been? You okay?" She asked.
"Yeah I'm ok I just needed to come to the bathroom. Felt a little sick." I lied.
"Aww honey what's the matter? Did Marcel cum inside of you again?" She said joking and I forced a giggle.
"Nah he didn't. Probably just the heat that's all. Just need to hydrate." I lied again.
"Aww okay well come on back, we'll get you some water and some food. Maybe a drink too. Looks like you need one." She said giggling and I gave a weak smile.
I wanted to just be there and happy for her at this time. All of my emotions could wait, this was her day.
~~~~~~
1am
Marcel and I walked into the hotel room with Sanai sleeping on my chest. The rest of the night went by smoothly, and I'm glad it did.
I managed to get nai out of her clothes and into her night clothes without waking her. I put her down in the middle of the bed and took my clothes off to go shower as Marcel watched her.
I turned the water on and let it get hot. Then I stepped inside and closed the curtain.
I then let the hot water just run on my body. It felt so good after the day I had. I washed my face and body, taking my time. I was in the moment and decided to enjoy my shower.
After soaping up, I rinsed my rag out then let
The hot water run on my body once more.
I stood in the shower another 15 minutes and then got out.
When I got out I saw Marcel go in, giving me a kiss in the process.
I got dressed and occasionally looked at Sanai, making sure she didn't roll off of the bed.
After about thirty minutes, Marcel came out with his boxers on and joined me as I watched tv.
"You okay now princess?" Marcel asked me.
"Yeah I'm ok. I'm just glad it's all over." I said honestly.
He leaned over Sanai and kissed me. The kiss started to get a little intense so I broke it. We were not about to have sex with Sanai in the same bed as us.
He licked his lips but knew why I stopped the kiss from leading to anything further.
We kissed each other once and got comfortable. Marcel put Sanai on his chest and I put my leg on him and we all drifted off to sleep.

The end .
Kind of a crappy ending but I'll do better in the third book I promise 😂😩.

NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
