《Fairy Tail's Little Fairy Book 1 (Rewriting)》8) First job

(Y/N) POV
I walk upstairs to the second floor, because grandpa has called for me, and to meet him in his office, but I am not worried. I am allowed to be on the second floor, even if I am not a S-class wizard. Yet.
''What do you wanna talk about, grandpa?'' I ask and enter his office, closing the door behind me. I walk over and take a seat on a chair in front of his table.
''I have thought about something for some time and I even talked to Mirajane about this. After watching you defeat the Dark Magic known as Lullaby, have that event proven to me, that you are ready to take job request.'' Inform grandpa with a small smile. Is he serious? I paused for a moment, not knowing what to say, but then got really excited. ''But, you can only take the cheap ones, like defeat a little monster, find a missing animal and something like that, okay?'' I nodded happily to grandpa and jumped down the chair. I quickly open the door, running out and look out over the railing to the other guild member.
''Guys, I can finally take a request.'' I announce happily to my guildmates, with lots of excitement and a huge smile on my face.
''That is right.'' Agreed grandpa and exit his office and stand beside me. ''From now on, can our little fairy do a job request and represent Fairy Tail. Please take care of her, if you ever take her with you on a job.'' The guild starts cheering for me, everyone being happy for me. I run down the stairs and directly towards the request board to pick my very first job. Mirajane chuckle at my excitement and walk over to me.
''Finding a suiting job is hard, so let me help you find the perfect one.'' Says Mirajane, looking over the board too. I nodded and look at the different kinds of jobs.
''That one. Find the ruins of a fallen kingdom, and find the missing diamond ring. The request gives 2.000 jewel for it.'' I suggest Mirajane and take the paper down. She take a small look at the request paper, then nodded and write it down on the request book. But she did look down at me with a bit of a serious look.

''I would like for you to have some company on this one. The ruins may have some traps and all, so just to be sure, take somebody with you.'' Suggest Mirajane and mention towards the massive crowd of members of the guild. I nodded and looked around at the guild mates. ''I think I know the perfect team mates. Laxus is on a break right now, so maybe his companion can come with you. Go ask them.'' Mira pointed to a corner where three people are seated. I didn't even notice they were here. I run over to them and hold the request paper close to my chest.
''Oi. Isn't it the little fairy? Even if you have taken my title, does it quite suits you perfectly.'' Says the brown haired female wizard, Evergreen, the moment she sees me.
''What do you want?'' Ask the masked wizard with floating tiki dolls, Bickslow.
''Do you three wanna come with me on my very first job?'' I kindly ask the three and show them the request paper to them.
''It would be an honor, but we can't if not Laxus join us or give us permission.'' Inform the green haired wizard, Freed. I nodded and run straight towards the stairs to see Laxus at his usual spot on the second floor.
''Laxus, would you like to join me on my first job with Freed, Bickslow and Evergreen?'' I ask Laxus and jump up and down, like I have a sugar rush. Laxus seems to think for a second, then stand up.
''Alright, but don't be a cry baby if you fail.'' Was all he said. I just nodded and walk beside him.
*Time skip*
''So the ruins of the fallen kingdom is on the mountain?'' Ask Evergreen and look at the big mountain, while we walk towards it.
''The nice man said it is protected with a magic barrier, so only wizard can get inside.'' I reminded her and smiled with excitement. I take forth one of my keys and lift it into the air. ''I open there the living earth gate, Nature.''
''You called, princess.'' Says Nature and kneel for me.
''No need to kneel. I just want to ask if there is ruins of a fallen kingdom on that mountain, and if so, is there a easy way to get in there?'' I ask politely and point towards the mountain. Nature takes a look at the mountain, as a green aura surrounds her very body. It stays like that for a minute, before it vanishes.

''Yes, there is. I can get us in there without problem. There are flowers blooming inside, so I can travel from these flowers and trees, to the flowers and trees inside the mountain.'' Explain Nature to us and place a hand on a nearby tree. Nature chants a spell and then everything goes black. Green dots appear before our eyes and light up the dark. Some of them are big with an image of a city and a forest. I feel some vine wrap around my hand, and probably for the others, as Nature becomes visible and walk in front of us. Nature stops by a dot and pushes herself and us, into the dot which has a cave image on it. We gets pushed out of a pink flower and land on our butt, on the hard ground. ''Welcome to the fallen kingdom in ruin.'' Smile Nature and look out of the cliff.
Freed helps me get up from the ground, before we take a look at fallen kingdom.
''Wow.'' I mumble and admire the view. It really is an old kingdom in ruins. There are holes on the mountain, so the light shines into the cave.
''I will make some of the flowers glow to guide you. When you are at the end, do you need to be on guard. I can sense there are many traps and the diamond is one itself. Take it out carefully.'' Then Nature returned back to her realm. As she said, the flowers start glowing and made a path.
''This first job is going better then expected.'' I cheered and follow the glowing path. The others are just following behind.
''How many spirits can you summoned?'' Ask Bickslow, probably to kill the silent.
''15 spirits, but three of them are the strongest and can only be used, when I have leaned the others magic.'' I answered back, showing my key ring with all my keys on it. ''They all look the same, with a gray key form, but there are different colors on the top and when I summoned the spirits, would a symbol be showend. That is how it work.''
''And you remember the spells to summoned them?'' Ask Freed this time.
''I don't exactly remember the summoning spell, it just comes to me, when I wanna use them.'' I simply answer and jump from some stone to stone, avoiding some suspicious sinken stones on the path. Those might trigger a trap.
''We are here.'' Call out Laxus and see the diamond ring, laying on some sort of pillar. We stop in front a new set of stone patterns with symbols on them. ''Watch the pattern. One wrong step and it will release some traps.''
''Then I will fly over.'' Says Evergreen and brings forth her pink wings from her dress fly up a little. She then lifts me up in her arms and fly closer to the diamond. ''It is you mission, so you should take the diamond.'' I slightly nodded and reached out for the diamond. I pull it off very slowly as Nature told me. When the diamond ring is off the pillar, fly Evergreen back to the others and I show off the diamond ring.
''I did it.'' I cheered, so happy for my success.
*Time skip*
We finished the mission with ease, but when I took the diamond ring off the pillar, began the ruin to crumble down, but we are fine now. I got the 2.000 jewel, but shared it with the others as a 'thank you' for tagging along. I didn't take no for an answer. My first job was a success, so I am right now excited for my next job. And one more thing, it seems that Natsu and Lucy took an S-class request. Grey followed after them, but hasn't returned yet, so Erza is going after them. I wanted to come with her, but grandpa said no. I just hope they make it out alive and safe, and that grandpa won't punish them too hard.
