Ranboo's POV:
When I awoke from my sleep, Tubbo wasn't in the bed. I glanced at the alarm clock to see the time and it was only a little passed 6:50.a.m, so I assumed he was just using the bathroom and would be right back.
To my surprise, after about ten minutes of waiting, he still wasn't back.
I got out of bed and opened my bedroom door. I could immediately hear small noises coming from downstairs.
I walked down the steps and looked over into the kitchen. Tubbo was standing by the stove, humming to the music playing from his phone.
"Tubbo, why are you up so early?" I muttered, rubbing my eyes.
"Oh, you're awake!" He looked up, seeming surprised. I could now see that he was holding a spatula. "Good morning, big guy." He smiled really big. I blushed.
"Morning.. But, uh, what are you doing?" I looked around, trying to observe the kitchen. I couldn't, though, because my eyes weren't quite focused yet.
"Your mom said I could make breakfast as long as I don't burn the kitchen down, so here I am." He kept the same cute smile plastered across his face as he flipped a pancake.
"Tubbo, you didn't have to.." I looked down "So you've been up since around 5 in the morning..? That's when my mom leaves." I felt bad. Tubbo was never one to get up early in the morning.
"Hey, no worries. I wanted to do this." He flipped a pancake onto a plate. "Look, I've made eggs and sausage as well!" He said excitedly as he pointed to a large plate with loads of food on it.
"Why are you so sweet?" I asked, moving my hair out of my eyes.

"Anything for you." He ambled toward me and put his arms around my arm, laying his chin over my shoulder.
I hugged him back and we just stood there holding each other. I couldn't think of a better way to start my day.
"Ok, now eat up." He let go and looked down, smiling and blushing.
"You're eating, too, right?" I asked.
"No, I'm not hungry." He said. "But it's fine because your mom said that her and your dad would eat it if there was any left over."
"Are you sure..?" I asked, concerned. I knew he didn't eat at all last night.
"Yeah, I'm good. I have a plate made for you over there." He pointed. "Enjoy your meal, Boo." He smiled and ran upstairs.
I sat down and ate the scrumptious breakfast.
Wow, I didn't know Tubbo could cook. I thought to myself.
After I finished eating, I put the plate in the sink and headed upstairs.
I opened the door to see Tubbo, huddled up with his knees by his chest.
He was on his phone, and he looked nervous about something.
I walked over to the bed and sat down.
"You ok?" I asked, turning to face him. He gulped.
"Lucus asked me if I wanted to hang out with him." He was trying not to stutter. I could hear it in his voice.
I held myself back from becoming jealous. Now I knew exactly how Tubbo felt when that girl was around me.
"Why would that make you nervous? Go have fun." I smiled at him and put my hand on his shoulder.
"I-I'm not sure I want to, though." He pulled his knees closer to him and pressed his head against them, making him sound muffled.

"Why not?" I moved my hand down from his shoulder and lightly rubbed his back.
"I don't know.." He replied. "Can you come with me?" He didn't move his position.
I knew he loved me, but it felt nice to have something to reassure me. It made me feel a lot better that he wanted me to come with him.
"Of course, I will." I chuckled. "Make sure he's alright with it, though."
"If he's not ok with my future boyfriend coming than he can f(bleep)k off." Tubbo raised his head and looked back at his phone. He started typing something.
I blushed, remembering that I still hadn't asked him out yet.
"I- ok, then."
We sat quietly as I listened to the small noises of Tubbo's keyboard.
Tubbo tapped on my shoulder, and I looked over. He was holding his phone up, showing me the messages between him and Lucus. I read them in my head.
Do you mind if Ranboo comes along?
Does he always have to be with you?
I was kind of shocked by the messages.
"Can you believe this guy? What a d(bleep)k." Tubbo shook his head.
I watched Tubbo as he typed his next messages.
It's either he gets to come or I'm not going.
I giggled at his reply. He didn't know I was looking, so he turned when he heard me laugh.
He started to smile but quickly looked away, trying not to laugh.
"Don't look, d(bleep)khead." He huddled up away from me, laughing almost silently.
"Don't worry Tubbo." I laughed. "I'm used to your clinginess." I fluffed up his hair.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." He mumbled, still keeping himself from laughing.
"You're adorable." I kissed the top of his head and stood up.
"Where are you going?" He whined in a higher voice.
"I'm gonna get some water. Do you want some?" I asked, heading for the door.
"Nah, I'm alright." He replied.
"Tubbo, it's almost 12:00p.m. and you haven't eaten anything. I said sternly. "You need to at least have some water."
"Fine." He lengthened the word.
"Ok, I'll be right back." I said, leaving the room to get the water.
I filled up to cups fully and made my way up the steps, being very careful as to not spill any the water.
They call me.. Mr. Steady Hands. I proudly thought.
A/n: If you know, you know.
When I got into the room, I handed Tubbo his water and sat down.
"Thanks, Ranboo." He smiled. "Uhm.. By the way, Lucus is wanting to meet in like 30 minutes." Tubbo laughed nervously.
"Oh- uhh, alright then." I was sort of surprised. "I guess let's get dressed, then." I took a sip from my cup and got up.
"Say less." Tubbo immediately stood up. "Your clothes are my favorite."

How to have fun in an apocalypse (Rewrite)
After spending an unsavory amount of time in hell, our protagonist finally manages to escape the place that had kept him captive for so long... again. Unfortunately, even after plotting and planning for years, he ends up in a place not much different from the burning and agonizing Tartarus he once had to call home. Guts, blood, and carnage start to reign over Earth as soon as he set foot in it, much to his dismay. What use is it to cry over spilled milk, though? Tired of the monotony of endless torture, he steps into the world intending to have as much fun as possible. While others might try to raid the Orc Lord with as many people as possible, why not challenge him to an arm-wrestling tournament? The power of friendship will surely be on his side. Why hide from the big, bad wolf in one of your houses if wearing camo in plain sight should have the same effect? Now, making friends and going on adventures would be perfectly fine, if it wasn't for the fact that he hides a few more secrets than one might think at first. This is a complete rewrite! Due to being unsatisfied with the previous version, I have decided to work the story up, beginning from the older chapters! Version 2.0 includes: - enhanced writing and editorial skills - additional information and aspects to characters - minor deviation from storyline and improvements
