《A Tale of Two - Beeduo》A Friendly Bond

Ranboo's POV:
It had been a week since I last saw Tubbo. I went to school for the first few days after the incident but stopped, realizing that Tubbo wouldn't be back for awhile.
I spent my days crying in my room, praying that it wasn't over. I sat up on my bed, just repeating the same phrases over and over.
"Don't let it end, please. I can't live without him."
Or,
"Please come back, Tubbo. I need you, I need you!"
I would bury my face in my hands or my pillow, begging for him to come back.
I never realized how hard I fell until this happened. I was all alone, without him.
I'd gotten used to him being around every day. I had finally forgotten what it felt like to be lonely. But now that he was gone, I was back to square one.
"Come on, Ranboo, it's fine. You've spent years alone, this shouldn't be a problem." I panicked, trying to assure myself that I would be alright.
I then became angry. That girl kissed me without any of my consent. This was about the time that school got out, so I decided that I would catch her as she was headed home.
I put on a hoodie and my tennis shoes, then headed out. As I roamed the empty streets, I passed by Tubbo's house.
I could see through the window to his upstairs bedroom. He was sitting on his bed against the wall, with his knees against his head as he rocked forward then back.
It looked as though he were trying to seriously calm down. I so badly wanted to run right through the door and up the stairs so I could hold him tight in my arms and tell him that it would all be ok. But I knew that I couldn't. He made it clear that he didn't want to see me.

I trudged passed the house extremely slowly. I had to hold myself back from running straight in there. That's when tears formed in my eyes, blurring my vision. I wiped them away and continued walking toward the school.
When I arrived, students were flooding out of the large school doors. There was loud commotion and mass amounts people, but I was easily able to spot Olivia. She was wearing light pink clothing like she normally.
I ran her way and grabbed her by the shoulder, making her stop to look at me.
"Ranboo?" She blushed.
"Do think I'm just gonna let this go? You kissed me, which is not ok." I spoke loudly. "There's someone extremely special to me and he now thinks that I don't love him. If you see him anywhere, you better tell him what you did."
"You're right, I'm sorry.. He's the guy that walked out of that house when I kissed you, right?" She seemed like she genuinely felt sorry.
"That's him." I replied.
"Alright, if I see him, I'll let him know that you did nothing wrong." She tried to smile and walked away, clanking her heals.
I felt a bit a relief, but I still worried. I had no idea when Tubbo would come back to school so I didn't know how long I would have to wait.
I could hardly bare being without him for a day, so it hurt to think about trying to remain patient for so long.
As I began walking back home, I unexpectedly ran into somebody.
A man, slightly shorter than me with bright blonde curly hair grabbed me by the shoulder.
"Pardon me, you're Ranboo, correct?" He squinted his eyes.
"Uhm, yeah." I replied.
"Oh! So you're the guy Tubbo always talks about." He smiled big. "He never stops sending me pictures of you, followed by a message saying something like, 'look how cute he is!' or 'omg I love him so much'." He took his hand off my shoulder.

I blushed at what he had said. I didn't really think Tubbo had talked about me to other people.
"Wow, r-really?" I could hardly move.
"Yeah! Have you seen him recently? I've messaged him multiple times but he hasn't answered in like a week." He looked down as though he were worried.
"Oh- uhh, yeah, no, he's at home right now." I scratched the back of my head. "H-He isn't in his best state right now.."
"What? Why not?" Tommy gestered for me to go sit on a bench close by the sidewalk we stood on.
"Well, I was at his house and a girl that likes me showed up at the door." I started. "Long story short, she kissed me and right then, Tubbo walked out and seen us. He thought I was kissing her and refuses to talk to me or let me explain. He hasn't come to school in a week.." I explained to him.
"Oh, d(bleep)n. I'm sorry, man. You know, if you want I could try to talk to him." The boy offered.
"Oh, no no no, you don't need to get involved. Things will work out. He just needs time." I assured him that I would be alright, even though I knew that I wouldn't.
"Alright, man, if you say so.." He said quietly. "Hey, I've got my wallet on me. How about we go get some coffee?" He perked up and smiled.
"Oh- uhh, are you sure?" I asked nervously.
"Of course! I'm Tommy by the way." He reached out his hand for me to shake, and I shook it.
"Oh! Tubbo has spoken about before." I recalled hearing that name. "Nice to meet you." I smiled, not that he could tell though because of my mask.
"Yeah, man, you too." He laughed. "It's nice to finally see you after hearing so much about you. You're quite tall, you know."
"I get that a lot." I couldn't help but laugh.
Once we arrived at the coffee shop, we took our orders and found a table.
"So, how did you and Tubbo meet?" Tommy asked, starting a conversation.
"When he came to my school, I was asked to tour him. We were friends ever since then. Until y-you know." I chuckled, secretly blushing.
"Haha, yeah."
"How about you?" I asked.
"Oh, Tubbo and I? He's been my best mate since preschool. He got picked on a lot for his height and I beat the f(bleep)k out of those d(bleeps)ks. Then we hung out every day after that." Tommy explained, jokingly bragging about how he's beat people up. It made me laugh.
We had many conversations after that. Tommy was a very friendly guy, so it was nice to hang out with him.
We had a friendly bond.
