《A Tale of Two - Beeduo》A Bad Feeling

Ranboo's POV:

I felt so happy. I knew that I would live a lifetime of sadness without Tubbo by my side. But why go away when I could spend an eternity with him? I didn't want to see him at first, I was too heartbroken. But now I'm glad he was able to find me, otherwise there was no point for me to go on.

I came back outside with my suitcases. Tubbo was sat on the ground, looking more exhausted than ever.

"You look tired. I'll call a taxi, we need to go home." I pulled out my phone.

"I don't wanna go home right now.. Would you mind if I stayed with you..?" Tubbo looked down.

"Of course not. I'll still call a taxi for us. It's pretty clear that you don't wanna walk anymore. I don't either." I called the taxi service in our area.

"The taxi will be here in a few minutes. We need to get over to the sidewalk." I slid my phone in my pocket and pointed to the direction of the not so nearby sidewalk.

Tubbo made 'grabby hands'٫ telling me to help him off the ground. I did as he wished.

I held onto both of his hands and pulled him up. He was clearly unbalanced and nearly fell over, but couldn't because I had a tight grip on him.

"Oh, f(bleep)k. Ahhhhhhh, my legs." Tubbo whined and was slightly panting.

I said nothing at all. I just picked him up wedding style, and carried him toward the sidewalk.

Tubbo stared at me grinning, then started giggling.

"Is this how you're gonna carry me away on our wedding day?" Tubbo didn't look away.

"Hahah. Calm down, Tubbo, we aren't even dating yet."

"Yet." Tubbo repeated, and my face instantly heated up.

I put him down when we got to the sidewalk and we stood there. It felt awkward, but somehow also comforting.

The taxi showed up moment later to pick us up. Tubbo and I got in the backseat and the driver drove off.

"Where to?" He asked.

"Uhh, just take us to **** ******* ******** **."

"Alright, I'm on it."

When we arrived at home, it was around 8pm. Tubbo looked wrecked. I knew just by looking at him that he was gonna pass out from drowsiness any second.

"Hey, hey, you can't fall asleep yet. You won't sleep comfortably in those tight jeans."

Tubbo looked down, slouching almost his whole back over. There was clearly no way that he was able to walk up the stairs.

I picked him up once again, and carried him upstairs. This time he had no reaction because of how drained he was.

"Come on, Tubbo. You have to change." I put him down and he was barely able to stand.

He groaned for a timely period before nodding his head.

I grabbed some of my clothes and shoved them into Tubbo's arms. He tripped into the bathroom and slammed the door shut. Then I got changed as well.

I posed on the bed to wait for Tubbo. I decided to pick up my phone to check my notifications.

Not too long after, Tubbo promptly opened the door and leaned on it. He wasn't holding his balance very well at all.

The boy began making his way toward the bed, with his eyes barely open.

He stopped walking, and slowly tilted his head down. I knew he was about to pass out, so I sprang up to make sure he didn't fall.

I caught him, and his head instantly popped up. He seemed shocked.

"Sorry, Ranboo. I really did use all of my energy to get to you.." He mumbled. I still held onto him.

"Don't worry about it. You just really need to get to bed." I propped him up a bit

I carefully guided him to the bed, and he never looked more relieved to be there.

"Thanks, Boo. You're my favorite." Tubbo grumbled. I started getting more flashbacks.

—"No need to worry, big guy. No one's ever gonna replace you. You're my favorite."—

I didn't say anything. I just frilled his hair and pulled him closer next to me. Not much long after, we were both asleep.

_______________________________

We woke up the next morning to my alarm going off.

The first thing I hear after that is Tubbo's loud groaning. I already knew it was gonna be a hassle to get him out of bed.

"Aghhh, I was sleeping soooo well. Whyyyyyy?" Tubbo was muffled into his favorite pillow.

"Come on, Tubbo. We have to go to school." I patted Tubbo's head and stood up.

"Fiiinnnneeeeeee." He grumbled back at me. I got us both some clothes and then we changed, faster than usual.

"Wanna head to school early again?" I looked at Tubbo, hoping for a 'yes'.

"Yeah, sure." Tubbo slid over to the door and we both left the house.

We walked in silence for a bit before Tubbo spoke up.

"I don't have a really good feeling about today.." He mumbled and looked down at the ground.

"Why's that?" I put my hand on his back.

"No idea. I just don't." He shrugged.

"I'm sure everything will be ok." I tried to reassure him so that he wasn't too anxious.

"Yeah, it'll be alright." He looked back up and smiled.

He looked like he had felt better, but I could tell that somewhere in the back of his mind, he was worried about something. I just wish I new what it was.

Tubbo didn't often have gut feelings, so I knew that this could mean something.

Maybe.. he truly did have a bad feeling.
