Eric: “I’ll ask you one more time, where is she?”
His words frightened the suits before him but they gave him no answer only drawing their weapons, Eric just stared at them before he started laughing causing all the suits to look at him as though he was mad as they couldn’t understand why he was laughing.
Eric: “I understand now, that man for all his faults is a man of his word and since you don’t have her with you that just means you are his apology gift.”
His words caused even more confusing amongst the men before him. They couldn’t understand what exactly he meant but from the little they understood they knew it wasn’t anything good. Eric continued laughing as he took a few steps forward but his laughter was to brought to an abrupt halt with a bang.
All attention was directed to a young man whose gun was still smoking, the young man was shaking and it was absolutely clear that his earlier shot was due to his nervousness and fear, grunting sounds brought the attention back to Eric who now had a bullet hole in his chest.
The entire bar was silent and all who had never seen the abilities of a demi-human broke out in fear shaking as they tightened their grips on their guns.
Eric: “you shouldn’t have done that.”
Eric spoke as he pulled out the bullet allowing it to heal, at this point no one could deny that the view before them was astonishing, whilst everyone’s attention was on the wound healing Eric charged into their midst with his claws appearing before the young suit who had shot him and swiped at his throat causing him to drop his gun and move to his throat in a futile attempt to stop the blood.

The shocking scene snapped the suits out of their daze as they began to fire at Eric but with each bullet wound, he gained and each life they lost, they soon came to a realization their guns were useless against the threat before them and began to charge at him for close combat.
Eric took a step back avoiding a swing from and agent before ramming his claws through the suit and using the suit as a shield before throwing them into the group charging at him sending them tumbling to the ground and as he is about to take in a breath, he lets out a scream as he feels a sharp pain.
Eric looked down to see what used to be a chair leg sticking out of his abdomen. Turning around was a suit with a look of pure horror on his face as Eric faced him with rage visible in his eyes and before the suit could run his arms were separated and the wooden chair leg was pulled straight from his abdomen and stabbed into the suits body and ending him.
In a few more minutes, the only ones left standing in the bar were Eric whose body was littered in various wounds which were healing at a rate visible to the naked eye, the bartender who was hiding behind the counter shaking with his arms above his head wondering as to why they had chosen his bar as the place of battle and finally the leader of the suits who could not believe what his eyes had witnessed and was glaring at Eric who turned to face him.
Suit: “how dare you?! Do you have any idea, any idea of what it is you have done? You will never lay eyes on her again I tell you? Never!”

Were his last words before Eric sent two of his claws from below his chin and through his skull, ending his life.
Eric: “you talk too much”
As Eric moved to the bar counter his feet came in contact with the collar looking down his scowl deepened even more as he stomped it.
The bar tender hidden behind the counter who couldn’t hear any sounds after a half a minute, rose his head to check believing everything to be over, but the gruesome sight before him was one he didn’t expect and almost threw up his lunch.
Eric: “oi! Bartender another.”
The bartender felt a shiver down his sine as he observed Eric who was seated at the counter with an empty glass before him. The scene wouldn’t have been nightmare inducing if not for the various wounds around him and the blood all over himself.
The bartender although shivering obliged and refilled the glass, the bartender observed that the young man who had just committed such gruesome murders was seated quietly enjoying his drink as though waiting for someone and it soon turns out that it is exactly as the bartender thought when a loud voice was heard over the megaphone.
???:"X1 come out with your hands over your head we have you surrounded." A man's voice rang through the speaker.
Eric sat by the counter with a glass of whiskey in his hands. Eric had cuts and bullet holes all over his body slowly healing.
Here we go again.
Eric finished the glass and got up looking around him the once peaceful bar was littered with corpses, the corpses all had claw marks over their bodies, blood was still seeping out off some of the corpses.
He looked outside seeing men in suits all over. They each had guns all aimed at him as he began to move through the corpses to the door. As he stepped out of the door the sun shone on his face revealing some wounds which had yet to heal.
His murky brown eyes moving from person to person studying his enemies
???: “X1 get on the floor and place your hands over your head “the voice boomed once more.
X1: He turned to face the man who had just spoke, he looked to be in his forties, he wore a navy blue jacket his hair neatly combed which was a far cry from his own messy hair, he looked the man in the eye and said “leave now and I won't kill you."

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
