Anna went to her room to get supplies, she was thinking of capturing the kirin and bonding with it, She took food supplies, traps and some weapons.

After making sure everything was with her, she went to the door leading to her balcony, she went outside then brought out her hover board from her spatial storage, got on it and started flying in the direction of cyan forest where she first saw the kirin.

After getting there, she used her holo watch to scan the area, after scanning, she got to work, setting traps.

Meanwhile on a tree branch several meters away from Anna, A kirin with rainbow colored eyes and two tails was watching her curiously, after Anna finished setting the traps, she went to hide in a camouflaged tent situated on a tree, she lied down in the tent and started watching the traps, she used fish cause that's what she saw the kirin eating the last time she was here.

She watched all the traps till her eyelids grew heavy, she tried shaking off the tiredness cause watching those traps was more boring than watching paint dry, so she closed her eyes for a bit, then dozed off for a few minutes, when she woke up her eyes were quickly drawn to the traps, she jump down from the tree and ran to check the traps, she realized that all the fish she placed on each of the traps had been taken away but the traps were still the same, no changes at all.

' It definitely has to be that kirin, it did look mischievous the last time I was here, well let me go get some more fish.'

She walked towards the river to get some more fish to use in the trap, While back at her tent, the kirin was lying down on her soft pillow, it closed it's eyes.

'That girl should take some time to get the fish, good thing I chased them down the river before I came back.'

it thought to itself and licked it's mouth with it's tongue then it went to sleep.

At the river Anna was getting frustrated, she had been standing for more than three hours without finding any fish, Her stomach grumbled then she screamed after waiting for some time, then she turned around and started walking towards her tent, on the way there she passed by some traps she set earlier but what she found on them were the skeleton of the fishes, she looked around and shouted.

"I'm gonna find you... you catt."

Then she walked to her tent to get something to eat, when she got there, she found all her food supplies missing, she scrunched her brows and pouted, she took out some food she kept in her spatial storage and started eating, After she finished eating, she went outside to start looking for the kirin, as she walked passed the traps she set, she noticed that the skeleton of the fishes were gone and in their place was the material she used to wrap the food she brought, she looked around and said.

"You know am gonna find you."

The kirin was watching her from her tent, it came back as soon as she left, it swung it's tails around playfully while watching her.

What the kirin didn't notice was before Anna left the tent, she dropped a nano cam in the tent, The nano cam was something she asked Jen to make for her before she started looking for the kirin, the nano cam were modeled after after fireflies and could move around automatically, she could control them from her holo watch or issue voice commands.

She walked a distance then turned and sat at the base of a tree, she opened up a hologram displaying the view from some of the cameras she dropped in the forest at different places, some were moving while some were static, she saw the kirin lying on her pillow in her tent, she smiled when she saw it.

'Now I just have to think of how to catch you, little one.' she thought of using electricity to stun it but she shook her head.

' Am trying to bond with it, I should not electrocute it.'

' I shouldn't have even set those traps, now I get why it's trying to avoid me.'

' Ugh come on, why do I feel bad all of at sudden, Really, now am acting up, should have thought of all this first.' she thought to herself.

she calmed down then walked to where she set the traps and started disabling them, she disabled all the fifteen traps she set around and put them back in her spatial storage, the kirin was watching her curiously as she removed all the traps she set, After removing all the traps she looked at the screen on her holo watch which was displaying only one feed from the firefly in her tent, she saw the kirin facing her direction, it bent it's head to the left curious about what she was doing.

' Okay here goes nothing.' she turned around and looked at her tent straight at the kirin, the kirin was startled it disappeared right as she looked at it, she shouted.

"I've removed all the traps, I wasn't trying to hurt you." she didn't see the kirin.

She brought out some M&M chocolate and held it above her head.

" I've got M&M chocolate, it tastes really good." still she was met with silence, she dropped her head and said with a downcast expression.

"You won, alright, I couldn't find you."

She felt some movement on her right shoulder, she looked and saw two big rainbow colored eyes looking at her curiously, she didn't even try to breath.

' Am actually gonna catch a kirin today.'

she thought to herself.

Then she heard a voice in her said.

"You didn't catch me, I just came to look at the thing you called M&M, it smells delicious, so where is it."

Anna looked at the kirin with her mouth opened and a dumfounded expression on her face. she had an inquisitive look on her face.

"You... You can talk?"

she asked the kirin that was still on her shoulder.

"Well, I wouldn't call it talking yet, am just speaking to your mind, am still a child, so No, I can't talk."

"Did you read my mind ?"

"No. you had the look on your face."

"What look ?"

"The look of, Oh my God I finally caught a kirin."

Anna laughed when she heard what the kirin said.

"True, True."

"So where is it, the M&M."

"I'll give it to you if you let me pet you.

The kirin looked at her unblinkingly then shook her head.

"What does that mean. Pet?"

"Hmmm. it means to stroke in a gentle or loving manner, Here I'll show you."

She tried to grab the Kirin but it jumped away from her hands and landed on the ground a few metres from her. It looked at her.

"What are you trying to do?" She looked at Anna with a fierce expression. Anna raised her arms by her side.

"Am trying to pet you, so you'll see how interesting it is."

The kirin looked at her warily then walked slowly towards her and said.

"If you try anything, you're never gonna see me again."

Anna nodded with a smile, then she picked the kirin up and stroke behind her ears, she stoked furry head to her back then to her tail, The kirin looked to be in bliss. she turned her head and looked at Anna.

"This feels really good, way more interesting than you said it would."

Anna smiled "I told you so."

"So. Give me the M&M already."

Anna looked at the kirin and smiled, she brought out a pack of M&M from her spacial storage, she opened it and then took the tiny balls of flavored chocolate, she threw some into the kirin's open mouth.

The kirin closed her mouth and the M&M melted into her mouth, her eyes widened as she tried to comprehend how tasty it was.

'This is better than eating fish.'

The kirin thought to herself, Anna looked at her expression and smiled.

"So you haven't told me your name."

The kirin looked startled, she jumped down and looked at Anna.

"I don't have a name, why don't you give me one, hearing you call me Kirin is kind of condescending."

Anna looked at her with a somewhat dumbfounded expression. she snapped out of it and started thinking of a good name.

"Okay I've got a great name for you."

The kirin looked at her expectantly.

"How bout Ayanellia." The kirin's eyes glittered when she heard the name. she screamed in Anna's mind.

"... I love it."

"Okay We'll call you Ayanelle for short or Aya."

Ayanelle nodded her head and looked at the M&M Anna was holding, Anna smiled and threw some into Ayanelle's mouth, Ayanelle's eyes glittered and Anna picked her up and stroked behind her ears.

After packing up her supplies and putting everything into her spatial storage, She started walking back home with Ayanelle, She looked up at Ayanelle who was jumping from tree to tree above her head. When Ayanelle jumped from a tree, Anna sensed something wrong, She quickly jumped and caught Ayanelle before she jumped to the other tree, A wormhole opened up close to Ayanelle and an open mouth filled with teeth snapped closed, But it missed and bit Anna's shoulder because Anna grabbed Ayanelle before it could close, It shrieked unhappily and leapt out of the wormhole, chasing after Anna and Ayanelle.

"Anna what's happening." Ayanelle's fur was standing on end, she was a bit scared and confused, she was happily munching on some M&M's while jumping from tree to tree before Anna grabbed her and she heard that shriek.
