Ronan would risk his life to keep Great Leader safe.
The fight she had won was over, and Ronan knew the Freeman leader deserved her position as the Freemans' highest superior.
Yes.
It was true.
Another truth was the existence of the Soynites who intended on bringing the apocalypse to all Soynites.
Freeman General Ronan Red stood inside the royal palace on planet Free, alive, unlike so many Freemans who had been killed.
Freemans had been killed.
They had been killed on planet Free. They had been killed on planet Earth. They had been killed in Freeman bases. They had been killed outside Freeman bases.
So many dead Freemans.
So many living Freemans.
Ronan, loyal supporter of the current ruler of planet Free, was one of the living Freemans. Other Freemans were in the room, but only one of them wasn't a warrior. That Freeman was physically close to the Freeman ruler.
Great Leader sat on the throne in the room.
The crown on the Soynite's head was red, just like the sword Ronan kept sheathed. He didn't plan on drawing the sharp weapon. His ruler did not deserve to die. She had killed Lock Tannis, and she had shown her strength. Lock Tannis had failed. He had failed because he had been weaker than the current Great Leader.
Ronan kept his eyes trained on the seated Soynite teenager. A young Freeman sat on the fifteen-year-old's lap.
Ben.
Jake Wayne had known that Freeman for a longer time than Great Leader had, and it was a shame something awful had happened to Jake.
He had helped a girl with a triangular scar on her face, but no one had been able to help him.
"Kneel for me," Great Leader commanded, speaking Freeman.
Ronan moved onto his knees. The other Freeman warriors did the same. The kneeling Freemans bowed their heads.
They served Great Leader Hailey Majestic.

Some will fight for personal reasons while others for the sake of their people. The needs of many vs. the needs of the individual will clash on several occasions. - Finally, there will be twists and turns at every corner, so one should never get too comfortable.
