Wen Zhu and I are in the same group.
"There is still one person missing," said Wen Zhu.
"Just find one." I said casually. Just then, a timid voice sounded, "can I join you?"I was stunned for a moment. I looked up and saw that it was Xue Ru of our class.
She was one of the school flowers of our class. She was lively and cheerful. She was very popular among both boys and girls.
"Why did you join us?" I stammered. A playful look appeared on Xue Ru's delicate face, and his voice was cunning: "of course, it's because you just said that. I think you're very smart. Maybe we can find something by cooperating.""All right." I nodded. So the three of us formed an investigation team.
Now the whole afternoon has been closed. There is plenty of time for us to investigate.Xue Ru has a beautiful face and a lively and lovely personality. Let me keep my eyes on her. The three of us walked in the school.
There was no silence in the whole school because of the deaths of two people. The other classes are all active on the playground."Why don't other classes look like ours?" Xue Ru asked us."Who knows, but I envy them." Looking at the students playing basketball on the playground, I had no choice but to say. Compared with them, we simply live in hell. No one knows who the next vote will fall on.
"Why is our class cursed? I thought the first vote was a joke." Xue Ru said."I don't know, but let's look around the school. Maybe we can find something." I said so, and then a few of us wandered around the school."Aunt, do you know what happened to the whole school before?" Xue Ru asked in the canteen.
The people she asked were the old people who had worked in the school canteen for more than ten years. They should know what happened in the past."No, nothing happened at school." A female chef replied."Have you ever died in school before?" Xue Ru asked."I don't know. Little girl, it's not time for dinner. If you're OK, go out." The middle-aged cook's face changed obviously, and then she drove ye Xue Ru out.Xue Ru reluctantly walks out of the canteen and just sees us waiting.

"Have you got any information?" I asked hastily.Xue Ru shook her head and said helplessly; "I didn't ask anything, but I have a feeling that they must know something, but they just deliberately didn't tell me.""Are you so sure?" I asked with amusement.
"Of course, I've watched 500 episodes of Conan and mastered more than 300 methods of killing people in secret rooms." Xue Ru shook her head proudly, showing her naughtiness inadvertently. Let my heart move. But she's a school girl. She doesn't care about a loser like me. Thinking of this, I shook my head and deliberately kept a distance from her.In addition to our group, other groups have also launched investigations. We have plenty of time in an afternoon. The whole school is very large, with many teaching buildings and many abandoned warehouses. After walking around the playground, we asked many people, but the basic answer was one, that is, I don't know.
"I don't know what to do. What can I do?" Xue Ru said anxiously."Look again. They must know something." I said."Who should we ask?" Wen Zhu asked."Ask the old man who burns the boiler. He has been in this school the longest." I pondered for a moment and said.
Then I took Xue Ru and Wen Zhu with me. Came to the place where the boiler was burning. The old man who burns the boiler is the oldest person in the whole school. The skin is rough, the face is like black charcoal, and it looks like an honest man. He has been in this school for more than twenty years. He is alone and has no wife.
I have long regarded the school as my home. I live in a small house next to the boiler room every day.He was watching TV when we came to his place. For our arrival. He was slightly surprised."Old man, we came to see you." Xue Ru walked over.
She was lively. Even people she didn't know would soon become her friends. This is also the reason why she is popular in our class."What can I do for you?" Old man looked at her and smiled."We have something to ask you," Xue Ru said bluntly."Say what you want." old man did not think about the cableway."We want to know if there have been any strange things happened in the whole school, such as dead people." Xue Ru asked."Well, yes." The old man head pondered for a while and said.

"That's great. What is it?" Xue Ru said in surprise."That was three years ago. Three years ago, in the girls' dormitory, a girl suddenly jumped out of a building and committed suicide. Then the whole dormitory often heard women's voices at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night." Old man said."When you say so,
I remember. There is such a thing. It is said that the girl couldn't think of suicide." Xue Ru said suddenly."Yes, that's it. Later, the dormitory building was no longer used, and it was there." old man pointed out that there were many abandoned buildings in the whole school, one of which was once a girls' dormitory. Now it has become the sports equipment warehouse of the school.I listened carefully, but my eyes were on his room.
The cabin was very small. There was nothing except a TV and a bed, and some things hung on the wall. The bed was very messy, and in a corner, I accidentally found a black lace underwear. There are white marks on it.I shook my head and looked back. Old man was still talking. It is said that the girl who committed suicide is excellent, both in performance and appearance. At this point, old Chen also sighed: "what a baby, suddenly committed suicide."
"So it is." Xue Ru nodded, as if she had made a big discovery. Her eyes kept flashing."Well, we should go. We'll see you when we're free." Xue Ru said. After a while, Xue Ru followed us out. Before I left, I glanced at old man, then turned around and left.On the way back to the class, Xue Ru asked me, "do you think the girl's suicide has anything to do with the curse of our class?""Probably not." I shook my head and said, "even if the girl turned into a fierce ghost to revenge after her death, it should have nothing to do with us.
The girl committed suicide three years ago, and we were in junior high school three years ago.""Well, that's useless." Xue Ru hangs her head and loses her airway."At least I know one thing. The school is certainly not as peaceful as they say. Something must have happened. They have to hide it." I calmly analyzed."You're right. I won't give up." When Xue Ru finished, the decadence on her face was swept away.
She waved her fist confidently. I was stunned when I stood up.Looking at me, Xue Ru found something wrong. He gave me a look of shame and anger. Then go ahead. She was skipping in the front. Her long black hair was dancing in the wind. Looking at her young and beautiful body, my eyes were obsessed.
Wen Zhu said, "Bai Zhi, do you like her?"
I was stunned for a while, then shook my head with a wry smile and said to myself, "I don't have the qualification to like."After returning to the classroom, a succession of students began to come back.
They each brought some news. Some of these messages are only hearsay, others are hearsay.Soon the class began to fill up. It was a matter of life and death for the whole class. Even the most joking people have kept a serious face at the moment.
"Let's tell everyone what we have heard," Fu Ling said, standing on the platform.
"I heard that three years ago, a girl committed suicide in her dormitory building." Xue Ru first reached out and shouted.
Then others responded."I also heard the news. At the same time, I also knew that the girl who committed suicide was a student of the last class, and she was also in class 5." Another girl said.
"This is nothing, Let me tell you the most popular news." Dong Kui, who likes to show off most, suddenly stood up. Then he said triumphantly, "I just called my cousin and asked him to send someone to check the address of the school. Guess what I found? The school used to be a cemetery!"

Asturian Warbringer - A LitRPG on Earth
Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. If you want something faster paced, filled with almost immediate and nonstopping action, check out my other novel: Modern Awakening - A cultivation, LitRPG, apocalyptic novel. 8 187The Writer
Frustrated with his limits, the young writer Seven accepts an offer from a supernatural entity, traveling to its world whilst given the chance to live past his regrets. Humans, though, are creatures that don't easily change, and his warped views of reality turn him into an unpredictable ally or foe in the game of death that is to follow. For the sake of translating his new experiences into a written masterpiece, he will spare nothing, not even his own life - so long as the work is complete. *** Romance tag was previously there, but it starts quite late in the story and I've yet to reach that part. I know how it will happen (more precisely, how I want it to happen), but currently, there are just subtle nuances that can only be left to the reader's very expansive imagination, and I wouldn't call that romance but a

8 194Blank: a Story of Good Intentions
Many Millennia ago in a time of peace and innovation, a disaster of epic proportions, known as the Great Reverse, ravaged the world. The details remain vague, but humanity was once again thrown into the disorder and chaos. Under the mysterious circumstances, they reclaimed an ability that was once long lost to them, the restored ability to wield magic. Thus a period of great prosperity and enlightenment swept over the world. With the help of magic, humanity reclaimed its throne above the world's other inhabitants and created civilizations almost as grand and extravagant as the kingdoms and republics of the past. But with every piece of innovation, arises a piece of chaos. The Great Reverse gave rise to horrendous and terrifying creatures. Not much is known about them, because their very nature makes them hard to study. It is believed that they arise from human turmoil itself. They have tangible bodies, but they're mercurial and erratic. Additionally their sole purpose of life is to instill despair within the world. They are those who walk through the night with no soul, no heat, no individual thought. The story follows siblings Tom and Sally Blanc, who train to become slayers, or 'Knights' and quickly learn the hardships of their line of work.
8 162The Twin Lands
Join our heroine Enru on her journey in a world where humanity lives in perpetual light and warm while their enemies, the spider beings called Araxin, live in perpetual darkness and cold. Just because they live in the darkness and cold though doesn’t mean the Araxin want to stay there forever however, and this time their bid for the Southern half of the continent looks to be shaping up worse for humanity than ever before. Every ten years the planet nears its second sun in such a way that the Northern half of the continent warms and thaws and the Araxin enter a period of explosive growth, before always attempting to assault the humans in the South. Through events that you will need to read and discover yourself, sixteen year old Enru ends up vital to the survival of humanity, but can she succeed? In a world full of humans, dragons, giant intelligent spiders, trogs, behemoths lurking in the deep, magic, politics (can’t forget the politics) and more, what wonders await you? NOTE: This is my very first attempt at writing ever. Not just my first attempt I am showing people or my first attempt that went anywhere, but my first of any kind. I welcome constructive critisism and I know my grammar is not always the best. If something is majorly bothering you please leave a good comment or review on it rather than just a 0.5 rating and saying I suck. NOTE2: The main character will be gaining power that is, if used correctly, well above the standard for her race however I plan to implement it in such a way that she does not end up being crazy over powered and able to end every fight at her whim. She will struggle, she will lose sometimes and there will be loss along her journey to save her race. There will be no harem and I am unsure if there will be any sex scenes or even romance as this is my first story and I am not confident yet at being able to write that properly. So if you came here for the standard royalroad super OP guy that flies around having sex with every female character he meets, this is not that. Update Frequency: As this is my first story and I am still in the early stages, I cannot say how often updates will be. I lead a very busy life and this is a new way for me to relieve stress. I hope to be able to put out a few thousand words every few days at the least. Enjoy the story! PS. Cover was found on the website thedailybell.com, they did not source where they found it. I rotated and resized the image.
8 76Path of Righteousness
What do you desire? What are you afraid of? You run away from one, pursuing the other. Is that all you are? Conquer your fears. Dig to the bottom and confirm, what you really want... ...For you cannot escape suffering and death. You only have a little time. Use it wisely. Uru, a young boy with no talent for magic or fighting, sets out on a quest to become an avatar of order, the physical embodiment of righteousness, in a distant future, where control of origin energy allows people to defy physics and manipulate causality. Mocked by fate and broken by impossible dreams, all that's left is to stand in defiance to cruel existence. Because there is a Truth out there, somewhere. Singular, transcendent, eternal. What would you sacrifice for it? *** This is a fantastic sci-fi epic. It's going to blend both western and eastern traditional fantasy tropes – like might & magic and cultivation – with rational sci-fi grounded fully in reality, to produce a purely fictional fairy tale. I'd like to deliver something light-hearted and yet wholly serious. An uplifting adventure exploring the unfathomable reaches of humanity, free of indecency, with a healthy dose of humorous banter, legendary beings, and most importantly – lots of exciting, firework-filled mayhem! I've tried reading many web novels, but there's a fundamental problem with them – the eastern ones are annoyingly repetitive, superficial and morally destitute, while western ones are often dark, convoluted and profane. There's only so much one can do to filter out the bad and try to fill in the gaps with their own imagination. It's one thing to eat tasty fast food, but if it's moldy and filled with toxins, then it's not only poisonous, but also disgusting. The appreciation of beauty and higher values is disappearing at an alarming rate. Although there are throngs of talented people out there, none of them are creating what I want to witness – an inspiring battle against impossible odds, ending in absolute victory. A triumph of the spirit so overwhelming, it crushes the spectator into his seat and takes his breath away. I'm looking for a real paragon, so now I'd like to try conceiving one. *** The MC's name comes from Tolkien's Elven dictionary in Silmarillion, 'Uru' meaning 'Fire', and 'Dagnir an Uruloki' meaning 'Slayer of Dragons'. *** Note: I'm neither a native speaker, nor an aficionado of literature – I've never written anything before, and despite proficient English my literary prowess is abysmal. It therefore takes me a painful amount of effort to polish the chapters and bring them up to par. Last year I wrote and posted some on FictionPress, but I stopped since it wasn't going anywhere. The appalling amount of filth and mediocrity being peddled in all the media nowadays – a result of no conspiracy to manipulate the masses, but plain supply and demand – is no longer just the triumph of form over substance, but most worryingly corruption of the latter. Who wants to read about ideals anymore? And yet, masses flock together to gobble up perversion and depravity. That being said, I can't rule out pitiful exposure as the culprit to my failure, so I am now once again trying to increase it here, possibly for the last time. If there are still human beings present, hungry or in need of a detox after eating too much garbage, make yourselves heard, so I can see a reason to continue the story. Otherwise it's pointless – I'm not going to make fodder for the masses, and I'm most certainly not going to throw pearls before swine. I'll simply stop writing altogether.
