When Bill and Calamity arrive at the stadium it was at the same time that Amy is fighting in Quarterfinals with a young pure white wolf.

This wolf already fought over dozen battle but his beautiful white fur is still clean without a drop of blood or sweat.

Amy tries all types of attack that she knows of, both multiple small rock and one large attack including kick and bite but this white wolf just simply blocks or dodge away all her attacked.

One time Amy manages to bite his hand but she found that she can’t cut through his skin at all before having to release her jaw and duck his punch.

But at the same time his attack is also block by Amy hard exoskeleton, Marco is having a hard time connect all his claw attack to finish off Amy.

Both have been fighting for a long time before finally, when Amy is about to run out of breath, she jumps to try one final kick but he manages to caught one of her legs and throw her off the stage finishing in his victory.

“Marco Conri Win”

“WOO-HOO!” The crowd cheer at the white wolf victory while others ravel at Amy lost.

“That guy is Conri son” Calamity eye pay attention to Marak every subtle movement.

“Oh, you’re back” Eirian surprise Bill actually found him.

“Wow Bill, you found him good job” Josh gives a thump up with his wing.

Biscuit didn’t say anything to Calamity but at least she is not cowered in fear of him now.

To be fair she is already encircle by wolves, one more can hardly make it worse.

“Where did you go to?” Eirian asked.

“Just wandering around.”

Bill looks at Eirian and feel a little anger from recent event so he just sits Calamity down and ignore Eirian “Come on let sit and watch” on the final seat next to stair.

“Biscuit are you feeling better?” Eirian turns to our geep when he noticed Bill reaction.

“Better now think you for sitting with me. I think I should be fine if I’m with you guy.”

Everyone nod and smile but note that it is not include Calamity.

With other contestant match over the tournament staff quickly come in and clean up all other arena, a few ants use magic to move all the tile together until only 1 big arena remain in the middle for semi-final match.

“Allright guy time to find out who is the strongest young blood this year” Professor Leon come out with the final 4 contestant and the crowd cheer once again.

“Wolf really loves fighting” said Eirian.

‘Not this wolf it seem’ Bill gives Calamity a teeth but Calamity doesn’t have reaction.

Among all contestant Marco is the only one still looking clean with his snowy fur while other wolfs are cover in bruise or wound.

“Sorry guy I couldn’t win, Oh you’re back Calamity. You miss a chance to see me kick that stupid wolf Sharik” Amy walks up cover in bandage before sit next to Biscuit.

“That was an amazing fight, Amy. You are so awesome.” said Biscuit.

“Thank but that Marco is really tough I feel like my magic can’t get through him at all” Amy sigh.

“Don’t worry...wait did you run away from a nurse” Biscuit noticed a bandage that was lose, either the first aid team is very bad at her job or a patient run away mid treatment. She can guess which option is more likely.

“I’m told them I’m fine this is way over kill” Amy tries to bite a bandage off.

“No no. Let me help you” Biscuit takes the bandage and finish roll over so it covers her head neatly.

“One strawberry roll cake check” said Biscuit as everyone look at a new freshly bake red ant cover in white flour.

“Is it that bad” Amy uses her many legs to cover her head.

“No No you look awesome Amy” Biscuit insists.

“After your performance I doubt any one would dare call you weak again...even with that silly bandage all over you” Eirian trying very hard not to show how amused he is.

Even Calamity almost smile.

“He is using Ki so don’t beat yourself up too much”

Calamity tries to comfort Amy since he misses a chance to cheer for her but his word caught attention of all his friend and some wolf that sit nearby.

“Ki? Really? I can’t feel it at all” said Eirian now pay more attention to Marco more than ever.

“What is Ki?” Bill asks.

“Yeah, I never heard of it” Amy and everyone else agree.

“Ki is a life force of will that animate our body, a source of intellectual and spiritual power. Some call it a magic for us wolf but most don’t consider it really magic since we can’t manipulate outside world only our inner self. Also, still can’t really proof to another race it exists since it is very rare.” Calamity explains.

“Wait then how do you know he using Ki?” Amy asks.

Calamity stumble “Eh...He’s son of our Fenrir so of course he can use Ki.” his eye turns right “I just make a guess that all.” his eye turns left.

Immediately everyone thinks

‘Wow. He’s horrible liar.’

In the end no one press Calamity further since he clearly doesn’t want to talk about it.

Except Josh who really eager to know, but Calamity is using Bill as human shield so Josh back down for now.

While the tournament is going Bill noticed a wolf from Bernays store is giving away some paper for attendant.

He and a few more wolf including bird and human is wearing a white hat promoting Mercurius store

‘That hat...does not suit him at all.’

When he walks down the stair Bill try to call him.

“Oh, it you” said the wolf.

“What are you doing here?”

“I’m giving a questionnaire as per Mr. Bernays instruction.”

“Questionnaire? Call I see it? I answer it for you.”

“No. Wolf only.” the wolf shows no sympathy for Bill shiny eyes.

“I’ll take it” Calamity who see how Bill want to read the paper so bad offer his hand.

The wolf guard stare at Calamity for a moment before hand him the paper, no one know what he is thinking “After you fill all the question you can exchange this paper for a free popcorn at our staff over there”

Bill looks and see a crow being surrounded by a pack of wolf struggling to give away dozen bag of popcorn that he holds with magic.

“Ok”

When Calamity takes his paper, the wolf ask for Calamity name which he answer simply “Calamity”

“I’m Sagax” he says and continue to give away questionnaire to other wolf.

Bill pokes his head to read the paper with Calamity and see several weird questions.

What is your favorite color?

How much do you feel safe in city of Alana rank 1-5

What your favorite meat?

Prefer to use equipment with or without magic more?

Favorite shape? Circle rectangle triangle crescent etc.

Do you approve of MAM gun?

What is your education level?

“What with all these questions?” said Bill.

‘Mr. Bernays won’t do these for free let alone give away popcorn he must want it for something.’

“Can we see it” his 4-friend asked.

After they read it all of them agree that most of the question is none sense and have no use. Most just a random fun question you ask your friend.

“Except some of these about MAM and gun most question really should just be cut so more people may actually want to fill all answer.” said Eirian.

“A MAM gun huh? to think they dare to even mention it” said Amy.

“Hey I got these questionnaires before at the church” said Biscuit.

“Really?” everyone surprise.

“Yeah, in my version there is no mention about gun or meat but more on our choice in several design of Amalthaea and vegetables”

“Oh so each race got a different version.”

“I wonder what Mr. Bernays plan to do with it.”

The tournament went on until the final round where Marco is standing against a bulk wolf that have beaten all his opponent with a fierce kick after punching them until they can no longer stand.

“That guy enjoy beating his opponent too much” said Eirian.

“Yeah, it not even enjoyable to watch at all” said Josh.

Bill looks around and noticed that even some wolf doesn’t seem to approve of his way of fighting too but no one shout anything while other will cheer at every kick of victory ‘I guess strength is only think most wolf will respond too’

Marco who is faster make the first move, since this bulk is too tall for his punch to reach, He circle to the back and kick him in the leg.

Bulk reacts in pain but still manage to turn and strike a claw down at Marco.

He barely dodges it.

The bulk wolf then throw himself ahead hoping to catch Marco off guard.

Marco who is surprise try to dodge but got cut in the leg and wounded for the first time in this tournament.

He can still get up but his movement is slower now.

“Hehe you can’t run now” the bulk wolf gets up after fall on the ground. When he falls on 4 feet there is an opportunity to strike him but Marco was caught in a moment that he’s been wounded so he misses the chance.

“Here I thought Conri’s son is going to be more impressive but all I see you do is run like a rat. Are you sure your mother is not a sheep?”

“I’ll make you regret saying that” Conri change his stand take a deep breath and rush ahead with his fist up.

“Got you” said the bulk wolf. In term of strength there is no one that can beat him, now he is going to be a champion who beat a son of Fenrir

Both their fist meets and everyone hold their breath thinking that Marco going to be sent flying off. Instead, it was the bulk wolf punch that got push back and it was Marco who is still standing while the bulk wolf flies off and hit a magic barrier outside of arena.

All of the contender has fallen only the white king remain.

Marco Conri gives a howl of victory claiming a highest honor for the first year. All of Eardwulf shall hear of his valor today.

“Marco Conri Win!”

An announce sound follow by a roar from everyone in the stadium.

“Wow he is strong”

“Even now I can’t sense anything but he clearly has done something or he wouldn’t send a wolf 3 time his size fly like that.”

“Tsk so he didn’t fight me with full strength”

“This is more fun than I thought.”

Professor Leon walk up the arena with the same horn from before at opening ceremony and hand Marco the horn.

Marco bow, take the horn and blow it.

This time every wolf in the stadium howl along with the sound.

It’s echo in the stadium through everyone and ring out. Bill believed the entire city can hear it.

When Bill turns to his left to see Calamity howling, he found that Calamity already left.

“When did he leave?”

BOOM!

At that moment a sound of explosion cut the howling of every wolf like a sharp knife and rock the entire stadium.
