Chapter 8 Dreams.
Character Pov Lyon Amiel
So it wasn't real after all. I knew it, it was fishy from the start. But still, that man was incredibly smart for a clone. The pain I’m feeling doesn't differ from what reality would be. This is confusing me, moreover, I have to beat him to wake up I assume. I already cut his arm off and with Olsis to regulate the control of No’Beck I should be able to beat him.
“Lad, Your grandmother forced me into this, I'm sorry. “
“For what?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.
“My ability is to induce life-like dreams into the person's mind directly. It's a great ability to train while resting. If a person realizes they’re in a dream and is strong enough, they can break out.
You cannot, so you must fulfill the condition to win. Your Grandmother told me to make you fight the man who killed your parents to see the limits of your strength. She said your skill is on par with a B- grade Beast or a Vanguard Proclaimer if you engulf yourself. You Know that's quite impressive for a boy the age of 4!”
“To be honest with you Olsis, I have no clue what any of that is.”
“It's fine lad, I'll explain after we kick his ass!”
“Let's do it,” I said with a smirk.
I took a deep breath and then I saw it. His soul, time was slowing and I saw every movement of ki in his body. A large mass of ki was focused on his severed arm. Then flame started to come out of his arm while he raised his shoulder. The flame started to form into a narrow shape, almost like an arm! It is an arm! The glowing orange flame came to form not an arm but an arm weapon! His arm is now a battle ax. Not only will he have more range than me in No’Becks current form, but His weapons can also pass right through mine. It's a burning weapon that won't make contact with my own. This is a pesky fight between us. I'll just wrap No’Beck in a stream of swirling water. This way I might be able to disconnect his fire arm.

“He's planning on waiting for you lad,” Olsis said nervously
“ Understood, I'll just blitz him!”
This is dangerous I might break my legs I'm going to try and go 3x faster than I did when I first saw him. My legs can get shattered from the pure force of the launch.
My ki flowing into my legs flowing like water started to make my legs glow a vibrant green.
The man took noticed and focused his ki flow into his eyes so he can react faster. Smart of him.
BOOM. I launched breaking not only the ground but the sound barrier. I was there I was at his neck. I overshot he had no time to react at all. My cyclone of a sword was at his nick. His shadowy hood making it so I couldn't see anything in there.
SWOOSH. I cut his head off! I saw his hood fly off as I zipped past him, still carrying my momentum. He had no head! He was a construct of shadow! He wasn't a human so that means I was going to have to destroy the core. The fire arm dispelled and he regrew not only his arm but his head. He did well by keeping his cover.
“Fire orbs…” The shadow said.
3 glowing orbs of fire swirled around him.
CRASH! I landed on the wall hitting my back. I tried to get up but my legs didn't respond. I was stuck on the ground. I couldn't move.
“You done did it lad. You shattered your entire leg. That's what you get for going beyond your bodily limits.”
Olsis went out of my sword and since he was in control of the dream he healed my legs.
“I'm only going to do this once you know.”

Olsis went back into No”Beck with a mean smug on his face
I had no time to get up before I was kneed into the sky, The shadow man launched all 3 of the fire orbs. BOOM BASH CLASH. I was hit with everything but I was able to bring my guard up and black through them. But that didn't matter to my clothing. My entire shirt was burned off.
I had to end this sooner I was almost out of ki and there is nothing for me to absorb.
That's it! I have to destroy his core. I hastened the spin of the cyclone on my sword. It was spinning so much the water could cut steel. I had to move fast enough but not enough that my body couldn't handle it. I had to focus. I had one shot at this before I run out of ki. Time around me slowed as I put my sword in a lunging position. I channeled my water to extend making my blade look like a nagibika. As I blasted out the shadow channeled every ounce of its ki into his core. He knew what I was going to do and he couldn't do anything but reinforce. A set of flaming plate armor. I was closing in on him. I sensed everything. The shadow was, fearing what was going to happen.
CLASH! My sword made contact I was flowing all my ki into the sword as there was a power struggle between my sword and his armor.
“KEEP GOING LAD!” Olsis scream with enthusiasm.”
Olsis put his own Ki into my water blade and then… THE ARMOR SHATTERED.
My sword plunged deep into the shadow shattering the core!. The shadow dispersed and everything disappeared. Then I woke up in my bed in the temple. What, just, happened. I got out of my bed kicking my sheets off, opened my door and ran right into Grammys legs. She looked at me with disappointment. Olsis was also around the corner.
“You will regret the day you were born….”

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5.
