Andrew ignored the text box and looked around. Margeaux was there, naked. Zachary was not.

“What the fuck?” Margeaux sat up, rubbing her head.

“It shouldn’t really hurt,” Andrew said.

Margeaux paused and looked at him pointedly. “It’s– a figure of speech. Action. Whatever. It doesn’t hurt, but what the fuck happened?”

Zachary moaned from somewhere in the cave hallway. “Deeee—aaaaaa-aaad.”

“I know you are, but what am I?” Margeaux automatically replied.

“I think– I think we died,” Andrew said slowly. He looked around nervously.

“What?” Margeaux snapped. She had already gotten up and was over at the wall where Andrew had originally found their clothes. She pressed several areas, seemingly randomly, when the shelf finally popped open again.

“Nothing. I guess this is where we respawn. Let’s… let’s just go.”

They dressed hurriedly. Andrew selected Insufferable Know It All a second time, and they stepped outside.
