I once held the hand of a prince. A strong, beautiful prince with a wild smile and wilder eyes. With a loud, clear voice and a heart full of kindness and empathy. And a thirst for adventure that could not be quenched.
I was content with my place at his hip, wielded to protect his country, the world, from threats big and small.
Together we slayed the Demon Lord, in his hand I cut him down.
I thought we would die together in glorious battle too...
But one day he was stabbed in the back where I couldn't reach him. And when I refused to be held by the hand that betrayed and killed him I was sealed away under a mountain.
For centuries I laid alone with nothing but the memories of my prince.
And then I opened my eyes.

Ravyn's Nights
Claire's life led her to love. Love led her to death. Death began her eternal struggle to retain both her love and her humanity through five centuries of endless nights. Book 1 covers 1583-1690. "Ravyn's Nights" is a six book series, with each book covering a different century. Book 6 was actually started first, and it takes place in the near future, bringing the story to a final conclusion. I then started writing the rest of the series when I decided that I wanted to share the details of the life that made her into who she is in Book 6. At the time of posting the first chapter of the series, books 1-2-3 are completed and books four, five and six are in various states of completion. There is currently a novella following a side character that does include a few crossover chapters featuring the main character. The novella will be included in the completed versions of books 4 and 5.

There are many secrets left to discover. A man cloaked by mystery and power works from the shadows, he has been given the tools to ensure humanity’s place in the Universe. The future of humanity, how much is it worth? Beyond Humanity will consist of three novels and all will be published in this sequence of chapters. The chapter POVs will rotate between Beth and Milo but with some guest inclusions of other characters. A new chapter will be published every Sunday, and whenever extra words drip off my fingers.

In my twenty-five years I have seen many horrors. I have seen other Gatherers cut down as they worked, people tortured and mutilated to strengthen the life force released. I have seen the aftermath of a troll attack, on humans and Eldritch alike. In death we are all equal. I fear my end and yet I welcome it as a release from my responsibilities. But I will not waver; I will strive to the last for I, Ryshel Huntress, am a Gatherer. And I know nothing else.

Heart of the Dungeon
A lazy, wingless, blabbermouth of an imp, smearing goat’s blood all over the crystal – that is the unpleasant view this new Heart wakes up to. “I’m your Prime!” the imp says. The Heart reluctantly agrees. In an unknown world, filled with dangers, it needs every help it can get – even if said help is not…optimal. The Heart tries its best to succeed, even after being tricked by shrewd traders and having less than useful minions. Rival races settle in the Dungeon, causing even more headaches.The heroes, as they call themselves, sets their aim on the ‘new and defenseless’ Dungeon. The heroes are always lurking in the shadows – well actually, they are standing in the open, under the sun, hiding nothing – but either way, their evil intentions, no matter how they claim to justify them, only cause needless death. “Am I really that precious? Must you hunt me so fiercely? Why are you doing this to me?” The Heart does not understand their motives. Perhaps its lack of understanding has something to do with the fact the Heart has no physical limits nor material needs. Why take it from someone, when you can simply will it forth? Just pay for it with mana rent! To make things worse, the real dangers are not from above, nor from below, but from within…
