Alakazam
He smiled at the confused boy, he was a short guy in armor that had a spider-like design, and he had a greatsword strapped to his back, he was of mixed heritage. He looked mixed with Baragoian and Danese. “Hey kid, so what did you do to get yourself shot at, in broad daylight?” Alakazam asked as he helped the boy up, “I need to get out of here at once, and by both of your displays. You two also need to get out of here.” The boy said as Alakazam nodded, “don't worry we got an airship. Follow us kid.” He says running alongside Zade to where the airship was parked.
They climbed the stairs and Alakazam started the airship up, the boy took a seat and let out a heavy breath. “Where exactly are we headed?” He asked looking below, “we are planning to head to the west. We will stop there and hopefully get them off our tail. In the meantime, I think we could do some introductions. And what kind of trouble you got yourself in.”
Anansi nodded and reached out, “my name is Mwangi Anansi. My father Osaze spent his life trying to craft an artificial Tetherblade, but he was hesitant to hand it over and stalled for years. Trying to train me in hopes of me being able to use it. And now they've kidnapped him, I need to save him before it is too late.” Anansi said, clenching his blade.
Alakazam smiled and held his hand out, “welcome to the gang, we don't have the power right now to rescue him, but once this crew is assembled. We will return and get your father back.” Anansi hesitated from shaking Alakazam’s hand, looking up at the man. “What exactly is your end goal? What are you gathering this crew for?” Alakazam smiled as he cracked his knuckles, and Anansi noticed the tattoo on his right fist. “We are going to collect the Seven Wish Stones, and to do that we will need to defeat all the Crime Captains.” Anansi gulped at that, the boy looked nervous but nodded, reaching out and shaking Alakazams hand.
The boy nervously then looked forward, Alakazam went back to steering as he noticed below three airships tailing them. They had the banners of the Zhenjin family, “we got friends approaching!” Alakazam barked, and Zade smiled as she cracked her knuckles. Anansi only looked nervous as the airships approached, Zade held her hands out and flames rushed out towards the airships. They both manage to swerve and avoid the flames, as Zade curses. Alakazam put the ship on autopilot and then took a deep breath, summoning the magenta spectral armor. He then leaped from the ship onto the enemy airship, lifting and maintaining concentration as he levitated towards the enemy, making it onto the ship he saw they had around ten goons.

They each raised a firearm and shot. Alakazam smiled as the bullets all came for him, the thugs each emptied a clip, and the bullets all fell flat and some bounced off. They all looked startled as they tried getting away for cover, as Alakazam blitzed them, punching one thug’s abdomen and sending him off the ship, he screamed as he fell and loud cracking noise can be heard. The other thugs all tried to escape, but Alakazam cracked his knuckles and punched downward, the air pressure splitting the ship in half. He levitated back and found Zade had set the other two airships on fire, as they all were crashing down. Anansi just looked in surprise at how quickly the forces were taken down. As Alakazam sailed forward towards the west towards Yazaki.
As they made it forward things calmed down, and Anansi seemed to stop fidgeting. “So once we get more fuel and restock up, what's the plan and next destination?” Zade asked, lighting a cigarette. “Our next destination after restocking will be Arland’s capital Linvik. The Tetherbearer Ceremony will be held in a few days.
And I think that will be the best place to scout out our fourth member.” Alakazam said looking down on them is such a big nation that looks small from above.
Anansi held his sword determined, “I don't know much about Arland or this ceremony. What exactly is it?” Anansi asked curiously. “As you probably know Arland holds Tetherblades, which come in three types. Air, water, and earth, these blades have been passed down by the generations to see who is worthy of them. They hold a kinda tournament for nobles or even commoners to participate in and earn one.” Alakazam answered, and Zade clenched her fist.
“We're going to need all the power we can get if we want to challenge a captain,” Zade said, looking ahead. “That’s true, we will have to face five captains but we don't need to win by brute force. Our objective is the stones and the information they might have on the stones.” Alakazam answered, “well once or if we do get the stones, what's the plan?” Anansi asked, “I believe the legend says one could make seven wishes. When the crew is fully complete, everyone can make a wish.” Anansi nodded, “And if you were to make a wish what would it be?” As Anansi said those words they rang in Alakazams head and he felt old distant memories resurfacing.

Alakazam started coughing and his eyes were burning, Masiya was a very odd place. It was very dusty and cloudy, the sun rarely ever showed because of how foggy and misty it always is. And when it did show it took a deep red appearance, it was so hard to breathe here and Alakazam was starting to hate it. He just couldn't understand why his mom moved them out of their home. He loved Baragoi, and he had friends there and fit in. Over here he felt like an outsider, and his mom had always gone out and stayed late doing work. But whenever he asked her what her work was, she waved him off and said it was nothing important. He decided to go outside for once, even though his mother forbade it, he couldn't stand just sitting in the house and waiting for her to bring food to him, and waiting for her to do everything.
He was bored out of his mind though, his mother wanted him to stay inside and read those boring books. Alakazam thought that was lame, he wanted to see the city and make some friends. He snuck out and took a look in the streets, he noticed the streets looked busy. Several kids and other teens were all around and chatting and having fun. He ran through the streets, passing through several shops and feeling excited to explore beyond the slums he lived in. Although the town was foggy it almost had some life to it, as he smiled and jogged past some beautiful buildings. Stopping before the grand palace, it was golden and the biggest spectacle in all of Masiya. Where the Sultan and royal family resided, as he lost his focus he noticed some thugs seemed to be crowding around a younger-looking Danese boy.
They ransacked his pockets and kicked him down, emptying his coin pouch and counting the coins. The boy screamed and cried, but he was speaking in Danese, so one of them kicked him and barked in Masiyan for him to keep quiet. Luckily for Alakazam, he didn't speak Masiyan but Baragoian and Masiyan were closely related so it was easier to understand. Alakazam stood up and ran towards them yelling, “pick on someone your size!” All the heads then turned towards Alakazam, as they laughed. The thugs were all Masiyans and were nearly double Alakazams size and looked way older. As one who seemed to be the ringleader spoke up and said in Masiyan. “And is that supposed to be you, little boy? Do you know who we are?” He says with a cocky smile as he reveals a tattoo on his bicep of a dagger dripping in blood. Alakazam had no idea what the tattoo was and stuck his tongue out throwing a rock at the thug.
The thug glared at him as the others then took out daggers and scimitars and Alakazam stood tall, putting up a sloppy guard trying to mimic what he's seen other fighters do. As one thug ran up to him with a dagger a spectral pink hand appeared and pushed the thug. Alakazam saw the hand moving gracefully and swiftly, as the thug looked confused. “Fuck was that? Get up fool!” The ringleader spat as the others charged Alakazam and three more hands appeared, tripping and restraining the other thugs. As one final large hand appears and punches the ringleader in the face, sending him crashing into the wall. He looked around to try and see where it was coming from as he noticed his mother floating down. The small danese boy looked in amazement toward Alakazams mother and him. “Hey kid, what's your name?” The boy spoke briefly and said, “Arban.” Alakazam's mother rushed up to him and held him up in an embrace. Slightly embarrassed him. “Now what did I say about going outside alone, kid?” His mother said, as he looked at her face he expected anger or even disappointment but she just had a face of sincerity and genuine concern. As she hugged him and held him in her arms. Tears of joy as she held him, Alakazam embraced his mother and was just happy to see his mother was doing okay.
