《The Planes of Mil'Tish》B1: Chapter 2

When Ikt and the rest of the goblins came to their surroundings, they saw that they was standing in a military camp. In-front of the goblins was a brown-skinned orc with scars on his skull looking at them. "Goblins huh, alright got to section B, if you end up getting lost ask someone for directions." The orc said, pointing in a northeast direction. "Why should we listen to you, filthy beast." a goblin from Ikt's group said. The orc smirked when he heard what the goblin said, he turned his head to look down at the goblin "Disobeying a higher officer...ten lashings,Disrepecting a higher officer...twelve lashings, Take him to the pole boys." All of a sudden three slender guards appeared behind the disrecpectful goblin and took him away, Ikt did not even sense their presence. The orc looked back in their direction "Now anyone else have something to say." A frightening aura began to bear down upon the group: so much so it made it hard to breathe "No sir!" All the goblins in Ikt's groups felt that if they was not respectful to this frightening orc, their heads would be lobbed off their bodies faster than they could say yes. "Alright you're dismissed." The orc took his attention off them, listening to a report his subordinate is disclosing.
"I guess that's our signal to go." Creid spoke to Ikt and Glaas. "Yeah let's go" Ikt started walking in the direction the orc gave, the group followed after him. As Ikt and the goblins were walking they saw all manner of creatures, he saw that the orcs skin tone ranged all manner of colors like a rainbow. Then Ikt realized he was too naive, the trolls, ogres, beastmen and even a devil looking race ranged all manner of colors.'This is amazing the species here are so varied, whether it's height, build, color or facial features each creature looks different from the next except for GOBLINS! why are we the only ones with that look nearly identical." Ikt began to get a little frustrated, looking around he saw that nearly all goblins had the same short stature of about 4ft, same facial features, and skin tone of dark green. 'Seriously there's only some goblins that differed, if i had to guess the ratio is 1:40, thats outrageous... why did i have to be reincarnated into the weak species.' Ikt was cursing at the heavens for his misfortune. he made sure he was going to get to the bottom of this, Ikt had a hypothesis on why their species had little variation but he wanted to confirm it himself . as Ikt was walking he had an idea, Ikt walked up to the next goblin that he saw differed from the rest "Excuse me sir, can you spare a moment of your time." The goblin was speaking to another varied goblin, he turned around and looked down at Ikt. "What do you want kid." The goblin said irrated that Ikt interrupted his conversation. "I would like to know why the two of you are different from the rest of us goblins?" Ikt asked hoping he would answer. The goblin looked surprised that another goblin actually asked him this, matter of fact even Creid and Glaas who followed Ikt on his little detour was surprised that this was the reason why Ikt decided to go off-route and bother a superior.

"Were you just born?" The goblin asked.
"Yes sir 2 days ago." Ikt responded, getting kind of embarrassed from the looks he was getting, yet this was an answer Ikt felt he had to know.
"We goblins have inherrited merories from our parent's, why don't you remember anything? you know what don't answer that... you're coming with me to the interrogation tent." The words that just came out the goblin's mouth shocked Ikt. 'Interrogation the hell!!'
"Sir, no please i'm not a spy!" Ikt started to panick, he was beginning to regret his foolish curiosity into finding out why goblins had less variation amongst their species.
"Creid,Glaas help me tell them i'm not a spy!" Ikt was in full on panick mode, he did not even want to think what these creatures would do to him, not to mention he had a gut feeling they did not believe in the saying innocent before guilty.
Creid and Glass looked at each other not sure on what to do, they wanted to help Ikt because they are litter mates and fought the wolf together, but they did not want to get punished by their superiors. While they were still walking along with the goblin group Ikt, Creid, and Glaas had seen the disrespectful goblin getting whipped. His back was all mangled up as if some beast had been feasting on his flesh, even when they were 30 yards away they still heard the goblins miserable scream. Now Ikt was the one in trouble, they did not want to get caught up in that type of torture it totally frightened the little goblins. Plus they had to admit that Ikt's behavior was suspicious, in their memories goblin spawns never asked as much questions as Ikt because they inherrited memories from their goblin parent.

"I never said you were a spy. Git let's take him to specialists in the interrogation tent." The varied goblin called out to Git, they grabbed Ikt and dragged him to the interrogation tent.
