After sleeping for about four hours, Andrej suddenly awakened.
"Huh, where am i? Oh right, i finished school and i'm going home now"
"You awake Andrej?" asked Grisha.
"Yes" Andrej replied and sat near him.
"So how was school?"
"It was amazing"
"I'm glad to hear that, and what will you do now, become an adventurer or a knight?" Grisha asked.
"An adventurer mister" Andrej replied.
"That's good, you will get to see the world, and a lot of pretty girls"
"I guess so"
"Is this your place?" Grisha asked and pointed to a small house, which Andrej immediately recognised.
"Yes it is" Andrej said.
"Okay, then this is where we part ways, but be aware, the awakening of the demons is today" Grisha mumbled and magically kicked Andrej out of the chariot, before storming off.
"What did he mumble, i couldn't hear, it was probably nothing important" Andrej said, and he made his way towards the house, then he knocked on the door two times, and Katarina quickly opened it, behind her were Kiril, Oleg, Olga and Vesna.
"Welcome back Andrej!" Katarina said and hugged him.
"I'm home" Andrej said and hugged her back. Then everybody went into the house, where a big lunch was on the table, with all kinds of food and drinks, everybody sat around the table and immediately started talking.
"So, how was school?" asked Kiril while patting Andrej's shoulder.
"Amazing, i want to go back" said Andrej.
"I can see why" said Oleg while laughing.
"If there is one thing that i didn't miss, it was the laugh"
"I made a special goulash just for you son" said Olga.
"And i heard that you like to drink sometimes" added Kiril.
"Katarina, you didn't have to say everything about our time there" Andrej thought annoyingly while Katarina was chuckling to herself.

"I have kept this bottle of rakija since you were born, and i think it's time to open it" said Kiril while holding a glass bottle.
"Sure, but after we eat, i'm starving" Andrej said.
"Of course" said Kiril and everybody started eating and talking about anything and everything.
"Anyways, Katarina, where is Ivan?" asked Andrej.
"Wandering somewhere god knows where, he said he will arrive tomorrow"
"Ah, typical Ivan" Andrej said, and quickly finished eating, then Kiril took the rakija bottle and poured everybody a shot.
"For your return son" said Kiril and raised his glass in the air, everybody followed and then they all gulped their shot.
"How are you two coming along eh?" asked Oleg.
"Huh!? Please stop with that" said Andrej and Katarina at the same time, which made Kiril and Oleg laugh uncontrollably.
"Anyways, Andrej, one last spar with me is awaiting you, i must see how much you have grown" said Oleg.
"No, he is worse now" said Katarina.
"Really? Why are you ruining my moment" said Andrej, and everyone laughed, then a loud scream was heard from the village, all of them immediately left the house to see the woman from before who was floating, in the distance several bodies of ordinary villagers could be seen on the earth.
"Such an enormous aura, it is suffocating the villagers" thought Kiril, and he noticed Andrej shivering uncontrollably besides him, he couldn't move or breathe correctly, and for a moment he fell on his knees.
"What are you doing Andrej?" Kiril yelled, which brought Andrej back from his fear induced trance "Did i ever teach you to fall on your knees before an enemy? Remember if your life is in danger never show weakness, instead fight for the ones who are weaker than you, that is how you become a man!"

"What am i doing? I prepared for this, i am not weak. I don't know who you are, but if you threaten the lives of the villagers any further, i will have no choice but to kill you" thought Andrej.
"You go help the villagers escape, me and Oleg will fight her, once you are done, return to fight" said Kiril.
"Yes, father" said Andrej, and together with Katarina, Olga and Vesna ran to help the remaining villagers.
"Now then, are you ready my old friend" said Kiril.
"You don't even need to ask" said Oleg, and both men unsheathed their swords.

Apollyon's Curse
Within the pages of folklore and fantasy, tales of people who chase after the dream of eternity, of living forever, rarely find a happy ending. They are either struck by the grim truth of reality, give up, and return to mortality or face a ghastly realization of their wishes. The latter often the worse fate, as they come to realize, only far too late, that what they sacrificed was worth far more than the time they gained. Ultimately, the common thread in these stories is that “immortality is as much a curse as it is a blessing”. People either realize it early and give up or are doomed to inevitably face its consequences. In the world Enrich lives in, that saying does hold merit. Every pathway towards eternal life has shackles of its own. They bring those high above down to the ground, evening the playing field. It is thanks to these fundamental laws that ambitious mortals are able to defy the heavens and achieve immortality themselves. The variety of methods result in each of these bindings varying in intensity and degree of freedom. Enrich’s path doesn't break this trend. Though, after what he did to himself, most wouldn’t even consider him a living thing anymore. On the day of his ascension, a world’s worth of souls were melted and recast. On that day, the human’s path had reached its conclusion, recast into Apollyon. An artifact, a weapon, is eternal, after all. As for the curse? The payment will be made, as it must. So why not offload the curse to someone else? Mortals throw their lives away for all manner of petty reasons, noble or otherwise, especially in desperation. Eventually, someone will be willing to foot the bill. Most will if given the chance. The bait is far too tempting, after all. Power, status, knowledge. All at their fingertips. If only they say “yes”. And Apollyon is very willing to help any lost souls. If they give up everything in return, of course.
