《A Moth's Stories》The Wish Bearer

The sky shifted from its normal blue to the pallet of colours that sunset brings. The world slowly dimming as the sun rests over the horizon giving way to the full moon’s moonlit radiance. As the moon rises, so does the nocturnal creatures. And so does the powers of those blessed by the night.
Within a sparsely populated ancient forest, the last rays of sunlight illuminate the figure of a young human child. Her eyes fixated on a glint of something buried with the undergrowth of her family’s forest. Her hazel hair bounces while her long pink dress flutters around her as she skips over to the clear jar that seemingly has been abandoned by the world. The young girl carefully collects the small jar and holds it up to her eyes. As she stairs into the empty glass container, it radiates a light the illuminates the steadily darkening world. The girl closes her eyes from the bright light and turns away as to not hurt her eyes. She slowly turns her slowly opening emerald eyes back to the now dimmer glowing jar with curiosity.
She moves the jar back and forth and watch as the shadows around her shift with enthusiasm of a child untouched by the darkness of the world. She once more raises the container to her eyes and in her mind, a random thought occurs. “I wish for flowers in my hair!” The girl happily calls out to the empty forest. She suddenly felt soothing clasp around her head and while holding the mysterious jar in one arm, reached up to feel a crown of flowers suddenly there. She plucked one of the flower petals to inspect it. She looked in fascination at the small blue petal that belonged to one of the many flowers that wrap around her head and smiled.

Letting the petal fall, she once again held the illuminated jar in both hands and closed her eyes.
“Can you grant me any wish?” The girl asks. But no response arrives. She keeps her eyes close as she thinks of another wish to test the power of the interesting object she had found and once again, a thought appears in her mind.
“I wish I could help people all around the world!” She exclaims to the jar before something within her changed as her eyes shut and her face went blank of emotion. Her mind felt fuzzy and suddenly went blank as the mind of the child vanished. In its place arrived one similar to what once was but was different. This new person in the form of the pervious child smiled with her eyes closed as she held the artifact that she can use to help the world. She held it carefully on outstretched arms as she raised it up before cradling it closely.
As the new person opened their eyes, they said allowed one thing.
“I am the Wish Bearer, the one who will help this world leave behind the darkness.”
And with those words, the girl and the glowing artifact vanished, leaving behind the lost soul of a young child who was untainted by the cruel world.

The Doormat Villainess – Adrianne
A villainess is a character who has always been diametrically opposed to the heroine of a romance drama. What makes a person a good villainess? The fact that she's unabashedly beautiful and charismatic, yet also rotten inside? The fact that she's incredibly loathsome, greedy, and selfish? That she's reasonably strong enough to be a hurdle, yet ultimately powerless in the face of a determined heroine? That despite all these character flaws, a Villainess's greatest virtue is unwilling to give up until the last of their breath, in pursuit of her personal desire? If those are the hallmark of a successful Villainess. Then, I might be the wrong person to play that role. Also on Scribblehub (Profile)
