After what seemed like a chaotic and strangely short and long trip through a vortex, Mikah saw a bleak landscape. The sky was dark and covered with clouds. It seemed to be at night, but he couldn't tell since the only light came from the ground. From the incandescent lava that ran through the gaps in the rock he could tell they were made of the same molten rock that had solidified.
"Hell!" Mikah blurted out.
-haha, No, what things you say. This is earth, but eons before humans first set foot on it. This is your land and your first lesson is here.
Mikah stared at the landscape in horror. He realized that nothing could live in this place. He looked at the clouds and realized that they were made of some kind of gas. He saw volcanoes erupt violently in the distance and was scared just for being there. He wondered why it didn't burn and looked at himself up and down noticing a light yellowish layer covering it.
-Oh. You've noticed- Deom said -that which covers you is a small part of "aura" made from thought. It covers you and protects you because I made it that way…. But it won't last long. You must learn to form your own protective "aura", that is the first lesson you must learn… that, or… become one with the environment and be the rock.
"Become the rock?" Mikah asked.
Deom pointed out a pile of rocks a few steps away. Those rocks have been here for a long time. They can withstand the high temperatures of this environment and at the same time they are less dense than lava, which is why they remain on the surface... Not even the ground we walk on will remain solid after a while. Almost everything will be lava before it turns back to rock, so you have to hurry.
