If I think about it, I could learn the ‘Invisible Lightning’ from Raiden. And for him to be my teacher, he would protect me from the monsters for awhile.

It wasn't disadvantages for me to become his student. So I didn't see any problems.

"Okay. I'll be your student."

His eyes sparkled childishly while his lips moved. "A student..! I finally have a student!! Is this a dream?!"

"No, it isn't a dream." I assured him.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!!" He squeezed me into a tight hug.

"Teacher. When will my training start?"

"Oh my.. god! I have been called a teacher! Say it again, please!" He cheered, holding my shoulder.

I let out a sigh and spoke. "..Teacher."

He was genuinely overjoyed that he accidentally used his skill.

[‘Takumi Raiden’ has activated the skill, ‘Area Shock’ Lv. ???.]

I backed away the instance he activated the skill. I obviously wouldn't feel the electric shock but I needed to worry about my HP.

Raiden realized what he had done and bowed in forgiveness. "I'm sorry! What am I doing?! What kind of teacher am I that I almost hurt my student?!"

"It's fine, teacher. I already saw it coming."

"You did?! You have excellent perception! As expected of my student!" He crossed his arms along with being proudful toward me.

"Thank you for your praise." I expressed my gratitude by bowing down.

"Since you're my student now. I'll teach you swordsma-"

My rumbling stomach interrupted his speech as my face grew redder and redder from embarrassment.

Raiden coughed slightly and asked. "Why not we have something to eat?"

I tilted my head up and down rapidly.

"Do you want to eat raw or cooked electro squids?"

"I'll have cooked, please."

"Alright but you'll need to pay attention in what I'm about to do."

"Yes, teacher."

He grabbed the arrow with the electro squids using his left hand while his right hand extended in front of the arrow.

[‘Takumi Raiden’ has activated the skill, ‘Electric Arc’ Lv. ???.]

Sparks of electricity generated and emerged together to create a bright hot plasma.

The electro squids which were in between the plasma, were being cooked by the radiant heat.

The irresistible scent soon arrived which made me salivate the moment it touch my nose.

Raiden handed the cooked squids to me, causing me to swallow my saliva.

I questioned him. "Are you giving them all to me?"

He nodded joyfully. "Yes! After all, it was you who caught them!"

After I thanked him, he left me alone, saying he had to get something for me and said he'd be back in 10 minutes.

My stomach began growling even louder from the appetizing scent as if it didn't want to wait any longer.

When I took a bite of the cooked squid, its juices flowed down onto the next squid, making it seemed more mouth-watering.

The taste was exactly the same as its scent. In addition, It was firm while being chewy.

Naturally, I savoured every bites I took and drank a handful of water from the pond.

Afterwards, I opened my status to have a check.

Now that I had seen my stats, I needed to adjust it to my liking.

I made sure to add some of my stats points to INT because I might need it when I finally learned or used Raiden's skills.

Say.. What's taking him so long? It had been well over the 10 minutes mark and I still hadn't seen him come back.

‘I should go and look for him..’

I was a bit concerned about my teacher as well as curious in what item he was trying to bring back.

Eventually, I got up and followed the path that Raiden had took while being cautious about my surroundings.
