Chapter 26 - Pillow Talk

Whenever Benica became tired of waiting and fell asleep accidently, she dreamt about herself laughing together with Jia Chin.

Only when she woke up again, would she realize that what she saw earlier was just a dream.

And that was why Benica hugged Jia Chin so tightly, as she wanted to feel his presence while actually touching him. As Benica confirmed Jia Chin's presence, she became happy beyond belief that the cruelness of fate wasn't able to hamper her happiness yet again.

Jia Chin didn't know why, But Benica seemed even more beautiful and lovely as compared to yesterday. There was a feeling deep inside of him that made him want to be as close to his dear wife as possible.

Benica held Jia Chin's hand and softly pulled him closer as she made him sit right next to herself.

"Lord Husband, I am feeling a lot more healthier than compared to ever before. Your treatment really worked! I felt so refreshed when I woke up in the morning. My body wasn't that sore anymore. Also, I didn't even suffer from the frequent chills today either."

Suddenly, it was as if the energy got sucked out of Benica's energetic self as she looked down while clutching her gown.

"Y-You haven't suffered in any way, did you? After all... you did lose your abilities..."

As Jia Chin looked at his wife acting so cutely towards him while being worried for his sake at the same time, Jia Chin giggled delightfully as he caressed her beautiful blue hair and replied back to her,

"No. I haven't suffered from anything yet. It was a good day overall... just a little too eventful."

Benica could tell that there was something that was causing Jia Chin to be so nervous. Hence she patiently awaited him to speak further.

As Jia Chin tried to gather his thoughts about the situation, he stumbled to utter it properly as he asked her,

"Um.. t-that.. h-have you been well? Ah... I already sked that earlier, right? It's.. just that.."

Benica noticed the rapidly changing facial expressions of Jia Chin and the sweat that had started to drip around his forehead. She took out a pure white handkerchief from her bed and gently wiped away the accumulating sweat from his face as she softly spoke to him,

"Lord Husband, you really don't seem to be doing so well. Is something worrying you that much? Benica will listen to everything. You can tell me anything, alright?"

Feeling a bit reassured upon hearing Benica's words, Jia Chin took a deep breath as he tried to calm his emotions. Finally feeling himself to be back in control, he turned towards Benica to look straight into her eyes, as he slowly spoke to her,

"Benica... I went to an auction place today.. the shady underground type. It wasn't really a great place to peak in detail about, however, I chanced upon a poor child there. She... had been sold to some crazy people when I found the child. I.. brought her away from that place. The child is currently at my home and seems to be alright for now."

"However... Mother asked me to take care of the child. She said that I have to be responsible for my own actions. And... I wonder if I would be able to keep returning bac here consistently in the future."

Jia Chin could swear that he heard a sniffing noise just then, however when he looked back at Benica, she seemed to be fighting back her tears to properly listen to him.

Jia Chin panicked almost immediately, as he tried to divert Benica's mind away from sad thoughts.

"D-Don't get me wrong, okay?! I love you from the bottom of my heart and would definitely love to spend my time with you everyday. It's just that.. the treatment requires me to keep visiting you for the next few days. But, it looks like it might not be possible to do it consistently anymore."

Jia Chin took a deep breath and looked at Benica's eyes as he spoke,

"To avoid the situation of hurting your treatment, I will have to use a more intense version of the technique. I am not sure exactly what the drawbacks from using this method would be. But, I will definitely fulfill my promise to you, Benica. You will become a 100% healthy person once again.... definitely."

Benica's brows creased in worry as she softly enquired,

"L-Lord Husband, does that means that.. your life would be in danger? If that's the case, then Benica doesn't wishes to be healed anymore. Benica feels very healthy already. Benica will... wait for Lord Husband to return."

As the thought of not getting to see Jia Chin again for a while came to her mind, fresh tears spilled out from Benica's eyes once again.

She turned away from Jia Chin to hide her tears and desperately tried to wipe them away.

Her actions were to no avail though, as the emotions of despair and longing continued to wreck her spirits.

Jia Chin saw Benica's state becoming even worse, as he hugged her close to his chest and spoke to her,

"Don't worry. I will try to come as frequently as I can. I will get your health back to perfection. You are too important for me to be able to ignore you anymore."

Benica raised her head from Jia Chin's chest as she tried to continue her argument against Jia Chin's rash decision, when Jia Chin suddenly leaned forward and gently kissed Benica's lips while he continued to embrace her close to himself.

Benica's worry filled eyes son became gentle and unfocused, as she shut her eyes and started to respond back to Jia Chin's kisses.

Jia Chin was only softly kissing her initially to calm Benica's agitated state. However, once he began to do the act, he soon found himself unable to stop himself anymore as he felt Benica's little tongue poking around his lips as she started to tease Jia Chin instead.

He became delighted to know how quickly Benica was picking up the art of making out as her proficiency was obvious enough to be seen. As the mentor himself, he was encouraged to teach her even further about various kinds of things, as his hands started to rom all over Benica's upper body.

Benica broke the kiss briefly, as she gently caressed Jia Chin's cheeks with her soft hands and spoke,

"Lord Husband.. Benica is very glad to receive your favor. It's just that.. I am very afraid of losing everything that I finally have right now. If I lose you, I..."

Before Benica could slip back into her despairing state, Jia Chin gave her forehead a quick peck and softly whispered into her ears.

"Nothing will happen to me, Benica. I promise."

Upon hearing the reassurance in Jia Chin's words, Benica's body loosened as she fell back on to the bed.

Jia Chin crawled up to her as he stared at her charming figure from above an rejoiced about how lucky he was to be blessed with such an amazing wife.

'Such a graceful and gentle woman. Benica always thinks about my own safety. She has never made any selfish suggestions or requests. Always pushing back her own pain for my well being.

She is most definitely worth the risk. F you, system. There is just no way that I am ever going to harm a girl as cute as her.

Besides, I don't think that there are any women left alive in any of the worlds who could be comparable enough to her at all. She is almost like an illusion.. a woman that I always wanted.' Jia Chin thought to himself as he gave Benica's lips a fierce and deep kiss.

Benica wasn't one to back down though, as she became actively engaged in the battle of tongues that ran wild inside her little mouth.

Jia Chin's shifty hands quickly found their way towards Benica's breasts as she started to slowly massage them while fondling them from time to time.

"Dear Wife, I will be commencing the treatment now. Though, I am not sure if I would be able to hold myself back this time."

Benica smiled very warmly as she cupped Jia Chin's face with both of her hands and spoke to him,

"Benica is ready. Go on, Lord Husband."

There was no need left for any words anymore. Soon, her slim and body illuminated by the serene moonlight came into his sight, as he gulped down his saliva in anticipation.

"You are ... truly very beautiful, Benica... Get ready for this."

"Ah.. Lord Husband.."
