《The Awakened One, Book 1: Remnant》Chapter 49: Moving Forward

“Come in” the Chief spoke, prompting the large black doors to open, revealing a tall, red-haired Faunus man with a Grimm mask covering his eyes and a sheathed katana comfortably in his hand. The Faunus took a single large step forward and behind him the men who had opened the doors for him quietly closed the doors, leaving him alone with the Elites of the Demon Clan.

The air was still for a moment as the red-haired man looked around the room at those, he would be surrounding himself with for the time being, his eyes started on the human twins, moved to the tall man that he knew to be Junior, and let his eyes rest on the one of the other Faunus in the room. The masked man took a deep look at one of his own and slightly nodded his head upwards in a silent greeting, the blonde Faunus nodded back and with that greeting over with, his attention moved to the Faunus that invited him. “It is quite the operation you are leading here Brother; it looks as though you have a lot of Human subordinates at your disposal” he said as he took a few more steps forward.

(Y/N) removed his mask as he no longer needed it and responded with, “yeah, most of the clan is filled with Humans, but it is not as though it is by design. These Humans here however are very good people and I’m sure even you would find them respectable if you gave them look.”

“Oh really” he questioned as he walked up to his Brothers desk to stand before him. “Are you saying that they would fight for our cause?”

“Of course, Adam, if I gave the order, they would be more than happy to give life and limb to see the Faunus free, but they already have another purpose. It would be best, in this situation, if the Faunus were able to fight for the Faunus, the rest of the Humans will just go along for the ride.”

Adam slightly smiled at his words, “I trust in your words Brother, it is nice to see you again so soon” he said as he reached across the desk to give his Brother the familiar clawed handshake. “I know we are here to discuss the rest of your plan Brother and I am sure that you trust these individuals.” he began as he looked at the Elites minus Z, “but do you believe that it is ok that they hear the extent of our plans?”

(Y/N) released the claw shake as he said, “they’re cool people, its fine if they hear. I also need to inform them on the next big move for the Clan as well, so it’ll be a bit easier if they just stay here the whole time. The twins names are Miltia and Melanie, the big man is Junior, and the ram Faunus is Z, they are my Elites, and Elites, this is Adam.” The group exchanged a quick greeting, acknowledging one another’s presence as (Y/N) began speaking again. “Before we start, do you wanna sit down and get comfy, we might be here for a minute?”

“No, I’m fine where I am” Adam said unsurprisingly.

“I figured as much. Alright let’s just start then,” the Boss began as he sat back in his chair, “as you already know the Faunus are being enslaved somewhere throughout the mountains in Solitas and we have no clue where. However, there are a few different factors that we can use to narrow down the location, strength, and extent of the Faunus enslavement.”

“What exactly do you mean?”

“What I mean is that it is impossible for the Faunus to be placed all the war across the entirety of the continent without care. There are multiple factors that limit where exactly the Schnees could have started mine in the Solitas mountains, the major factor is the fact that there are still thousands of powerful Grimm all around Solitas. We know this because it is the literal reason why Atlas was made to float in the first place, and it is also the reason why Mantle isn’t nearly as advance as Atlas even though they share the same general space and culture.”

Adam thought about it for a moment, soon coming to understand what his Brother was talking about, “that makes sense. Mantle would need to focus the majority of its resources on defending its city borders from the Grimm so they would be unable to create as many advancements in technology as Atlas would. However, what does this specifically mean for the Faunus?”

“It means that the Schnees wouldn’t have been able to create and maintain multiple different mines across the massive expanse of the continent, instead they would have to focus all of their attention on one major base. That way they could concentrate all of their defensive systems in one location to create a powerful stronghold to defend against the Grimm all while keeping the Faunus production at its peak.”

“Indeed” the bull Faunus said as he put his free hand to his chin in thought, “that would make the most sense. They would keep one or two major stronghold type fortresses that would function both as central defense and the entrance to the mines themselves, that way the rest of production would happen underground and thus would not need to be defended against from the Grimm. It would also work well for them as they could easily keep the small bases hidden from the public and minimize the number of places that air transportation vehicles would need to travel to in order to pick up the product. Shit, I wouldn’t even be surprised if they had processing plants on sight as well.”

“Exactly” (Y/N) said as he realized that Adam was very quick on the uptake of information. “This is good for us as well since we’ll have less to conquer in order to free our peoples, instead of traveling across the continent to find the hot spots we’ll only have to go into one or two and go through the thousands of mils of mines killing all the assholes we see and freeing all the Faunus until we’re done.”

“And how exactly do you plan to get all of our Brother and Sisters out? It would more than likely take hundreds of cargo ships, on multiple trips in order to get them all, and on top of that we’d need a place for all of them to go. Menagerie is already more than overcrowded and the main continents isn’t exactly looking to accept any Faunus refugees.”

“I am aware Adam, but the specifics of that portion of the plan haven’t been completely ironed out yet. You have to remember that we know next to nothing about the Faunus labor, but I have already created a general outline of how we can retrieve our people. The first idea is something you already mentioned, the air transportation that they use to get the Dust from the mines. We can already assume that there are hundreds of them to transport the amount of product that they do, and we can also assume that all the ships are automated because loose lips sink ships and they more than likely wouldn’t want any human pilots knowing the locations of their ‘production facilities’. So, the idea is pretty self-explanatory from there, we get them comfortable on the airships and input any comfy location we wish to send them to. Obviously we’d need to adjust the way the cargo is carried, add blankets, food, water, heating, and everything else to ensure a safe flight, but theoretically this is the best solution to that issue. Option two would just be getting Vale’s military involved which would be a big hassle, but at the same time it wouldn’t be too hard to get them to act whenever we needed them too. Although, we would also have to ensure that Atlas doesn’t start shooting Vale’s ships down thinking that it’s an attack on the city and accidentally starting a massive war.” As (Y/N) explained everything, Adam and even the rest of his Elites looked at him in surprise, and as he noticed this he said “what?”

“Brother, you start your explanations with ‘remember that we know next to nothing about the Faunus labor’, but then you swiftly provide a solution to situation that you say you know nothing about. You also said that you’d mobilize Vale’s military with extreme casualty, that kind of power is not something that is normal to most. Brother, you almost sound a little too intelligent and powerful for your own good and it is almost frightening the way you say things so casually, but at the same time I cannot think of another person I’d rather be on our side.”

“Thank you?”

“You’re welcome” Adam swiftly responded. “However, even if that issue/part of the plan is solved without issue, what about the problem of Faunus residence?”

“Well, I don’t exactly know how it will work, but I have an idea that might help in the process. You’ll see what I’m talking about later, but it is sort of a risky plan, and we’ll have to see how it plays out.”

Adam nodded his head in understanding as his Brother talked him through that portion of the plan, satisfied that he at least had an idea of how to solve the problem. “It seems you have most things thought out already so I won’t bother you with much else and just follow your lead, but there are still a few things that I would like to know about, if you don’t mind answering Brother.

“Of course, lay it on me” the new Faunus said as he leaned forward in his chair, putting his fist together on top of the desk.

“Alright, the first thing I am wondering about is how you plan on locating the mines at all, it seems as if they’d be almost impossible to find?”

“Well, that is something that we would have to freestyle for the most part, however the Schnee Manor would be our best bet as far as finding the information. We might even have to scour the city for clues as well, but if we get desperate, we can just torture Jacques for the info, and if we get really desperate, I have some strategies that may allow me to search a massive area for the hotspots. Either way, it would help if we were to have a few trusted individuals on hand to assist in the process, that is why I requested your help Adam and why I believe that other powerful Faunus may be able to assist us as well.”

Adam scoffed slightly, “although we Faunus are powerful in our own right, there aren’t many others who are strong enough to compete with me, let alone yourself. Off the top of my head the only other Faunus I believe may be of any assistance would be Sienna Khan, the High Leader of the White Fang, but you would have to convince her yourself since she is not a very trusting person.”

“That is perfect, that’s fine with me. I figured she may be of some help, and I’ve always wanted to meet her anyway, so that is more than acceptable. If all things go well, it will be me, you, and Sienna traveling to Atlas to free our people.”

Adam thought about it for a moment before saying, “you don’t believe that Z could be of assistance as well? He doesn’t seem as powerful as the both of us or Sienna, but he is definitely above average in strength and seems to be a loyal Faunus.”

(Y/N) then turned his attention to the Ram-Bear Faunus and asked, “you wanna join up? It is 100% up to you.”

Zeb thought about it for a moment before saying, “you know I’m down for anything Chief. As long as I’m not being a detriment to the team, I’d love to help free some slaves, seems like some major shit.”

The man’s Chief took a moment to think about it before saying, “alright, you’re on then. I know you’ll be a big help since you’re already a strong enough person and I’m sure you’ll only be getting stronger along the trip. Just be ready to pull up to Atlas whenever we get everything else figured out.”

“That is my last question Brother,” Adam began, getting (Y/N)’s attention again, “how do you plan on getting us all to Atlas unseen?”

(Y/N) slightly smiled at the question, “that’s actually the easy part. Shit, we could do it right now if I wanted to, it just leaves me a bit exhausted.”

Adam looked questioningly at his Brother, but he believed him regardless and said, “alright Brother, I trust in your words. I know that it is important that we move as quickly as possible, but that won’t be as possible if we need the help of the High Leader. She is often traveling the world doing lots of things to advance the White Fang agenda, so the next time I will know of her location isn’t until the White Fang Menagerie.”

“When and where is it going to take place?”

Adam took a moment to answer the question, taking a look at the three Humans that were present in the room before deciding to trust them with the information. “It happens on the first of Warmth (September), and it will be taking place at the White Fang Headquarters in Mistral, the Great Claw.”

“That works well enough,” (Y/N) began as he stood from his chair, “we’ll make plans to convene in Mistral to meet up with Sienna and after she joins us we go straight to Atlas to finish what the White Fang started all those years ago. However, now is not the time to rest as we still have things that need to be accomplished between now and then, let’s start one of those things right now” he said as he walked towards the door. As they saw him walking, the Twins immediately shot up and went to his side, clinging on to him as he continued to walk. The other Elites soon followed, standing up from their comfortable chairs as they walked over to their respected superior before he suddenly turned back to them. “Junior, how many men are actually here in hell’s kitchen right now?”

“Boss, there are only about 30 men present, three Captains, their Acolytes, and two of the deadly sins. The rest of them are still occupying the Schnee Dust yard and taking care of some other menial tasks around the city.”

(Y/N) thought that bit of information before saying, “prepare a car or two because we’ll be heading to the yard right now. Put the sins in charge while we’re out and continue to run the club normally, no need to shut things down to ruin any profits, we’ve been doing that enough as of late. Instead of addressing everyone now, I’ll just announce the big news to the majority and have the rest informed with a Scroll message or something like that, it’s time for the next big mission for the Clan to embark on.”

“Yes Boss!” Junior with incredible efficiency exited the room, traveled down the thousands of stairs, and got everything prepped that the Boss asked for. He had the car pulled up, organized the men in Hel’s kitchen to get ready for the Chief’s departure, and ordered the Demon Clan’s men at the Dust yard to rank up since the Boss had an announcement he wanted to make. As Junior was perfectly completing his assignment, Adam and Zeb got a bit more familiar with one another as they conversated with one another and at the same time (Y/N) spent a bit of quality time with the twins, telling them about his life outside the Clan and his relationships with his other lovers. They were very unsurprised by the fact that he had multiple partners and they even remarked that his lovers were very lucky to have him which was a thought he kept in mind throughout the rest of the night. Junior quickly returned to the room to escort the group through the Club and down to the vehicle that they’d be taking to the Schnee’s Dust yard.

As they leisurely walked through the Club, everyone stopped to bow in the presence of the Devil, who had reapplied his appearance before leaving the room, paying their respects to the man in charge and his confidents. Once they reached the main club area, the energetic atmosphere of the club stopped for a moment and the hundreds of people on the dance floor halted their activities to allow the Devil and his men through to the exit. They swiftly walked through the dance floor and made it to the car that was parked out front, and once they reached it, both Adam and Zeb chose to sit in the trucks bed and (Y/N) sat with the twins in his usual spot, leaving Junior in the front by himself. The Xiong quickly revved up the engine and took off for the yard, speeding down the roads allowing them to rapidly make it to their desired destination.

Junior smoothly pulled into the open section of the lot, giving the crew a good look at the rows upon rows of organized men in bright crimson suits, the ones at the head of the crowd having different colored suits, clearly showing them to be special. Once (Y/N) stepped out of the vehicle, the entire ocean of crimson bowed deeply and with one united chorus shouted, “WELCOME BACK CHIEF!” Adam was only slightly surprised to see such a united force behind his Brother, on the surface he expected such a man as he would command such respect and admiration from people all across the world but seeing it in person was something completely different. (Y/N) simply raised his hand, allowing all of the men to stop bowing as he leaped on top of one of the Schnee labeled containers to look over the crowd of red. Junior, Z, and the Twins quickly followed after their superior, leaving Adam on the ground to watch what would be unfolding before him.

The Devil looked over the rest of his Clan for a moment, swiveling his head side to side as he fully took in the scope of all the men present and once, he finished his quick, silent inspection he began his speech. “You all have executed your orders, your duties to absolute perfection and for that I am ever grateful. Taking over this yard, overcoming the challenge of conquering those who you used to call your family, becoming the men that stand before me today. I am truly proud of all that you have shown me thus far, but what we have accomplished is nothing compared to what we Will accomplish.” The Chief then took a moment to allow the words to sink in before he began speaking again. “This first little mission was nothing more than a warm-up for the things that you and I will be doing in the near-future, as I am sure you all remember, you are here for a purpose far beyond being an unknown gangster and it is now time to begin fulfilling that purpose.”

The Chief looked away from the army of men for a moment, instead staring into the seemingly infinite ocean, before turning to the massive mountains on the horizon, and lastly looking towards the southern wall that was not visible from where he stood, but somehow his men could see through his eyes, gazing at the sight their Boss was showing them. “Do you all know how much of this World is inhabited by people? We are forced into the walls of expansive but claustrophobic Kingdoms, packed like sardines because we are taught that the rest of the World is not only too dangerous to live in, but also that we are not powerful enough to take it back. Over the city’s barriers people see nothing but endless danger and peril, but do you know what I see? No, that’s a stupid question, “ he said as he turned back to his men, “I already know that you see what I see. Hope.”

He took another small pause before beginning again, “they look at that land and see Grimm, We look at that land and see opportunity! Over this city’s walls are millions of acres of land that are completely uninhabited by people, completely free of the rule of others, completely free for the taking, and the only requirement of taking it is to be powerful. Vale tried once before, but they failed miserably and realized how weak they truly are in the grand scheme of things, but we are different. We are the strong, our Clan is the most powerful, the Demon Clan is built for conquering! Gangs have been trying to take a piece of the 4 cities pies for hundreds of years, always looking to rule over a small portion of the much greater whole, and they have been satisfied with that for years, but we are different. We don’t accept parts, we take wholes! We don’t take pieces of pies; we make our own! Where someone sees impossibility, we show them the impossible.”

“It is no longer time to pettily squabble over crumbs in these Kingdoms when we have the strength to take and create entire wholes that we can call our own. We’ve been battling with people for centuries when this entire time they haven’t been the thing preventing us from prevailing and taking what is rightfully ours. It is the Grimm outside that are simultaneously preventing and presenting the opportunity for us to reach our full potential, but more than that it is our own strength that will determine whether or not we will be able to take what is ours.” The Devil then decided to pull his Scythe from his chest once more, tossing it down in front of his men and watching as it clattered against the concrete. “Taking back Mount Glenn is the true test to see whether or not you have what it takes to truly overcome your humanity and evolve your strength as an Acolyte, a Captain, or a Sin. Take this weapon into battle, put your pride, respect, and loyalty into it, kill thousands of Grimm in its name and return to me more powerful than you left. I know you will not disappoint.”

“YES CHIEF!” The head of the Demon Clan then hopped of his ‘soap box’ and went back to Adam side as he sat and watched everything go down. The twins followed him, giving him a ton of praises about how impactful his speech was and how amazing and cool he looked, which of course prompted him to shower them with more love that they deeply appreciated. Zeb and Junior on the other hand took to the crowd to train them further for the upcoming battles, imparting knowledge, fighting spirit, techniques, and everything else they may have needed in order to increase their preparedness for the fights that were to come. Adam and (Y/N) watched from the side for the most part, idlily watching the training that was occurring before them, but mostly just discussing the more Minuit details of the plan that they would be executing soon. The Twins spent most of their time by their Bro, but they did spend some time ‘training’ with the Acolytes and what not, however it was mostly just them abusing them with their new Semblances. As the Elites continued to drill the Acolytes, night soon turned to day and it signaled to (Y/N) that it was his time to return back to his lovers, but before he left to finish off his night, he invited the twins to come home with him.

In response to his offer, the Twins faces lit up with excitement, “really/really?!?!?!?” They both yelled in disbelief simultaneously, grabbing tighter on to their Bro’s arms as they clung closer to his body.

“Of course, I love you both deeply and you’ve been more than perfectly helpful to me along my journey, the other girls also already know about you as well, so I know they have been looking forward to meeting you two. However fair warning, the room is getting pretty cramped with the amount of people that staying in there now, but if you still wanna come through your more than welcome to.”

“Oh my god, like, yes please! Bro, I love you so much!”

“Yeah, we would love to join you and the rest of your lovers Bro! I feel like I’ve been waiting for this moment forever! I love you so much!” With those words said, they exchanged hugs and kisses with one another, Adam watching the whole exchange with a confusing expression that (Y/N) registered as pride, and once they finished their showings of affection it was time for them to leave. The new Faunus said a heartfelt goodbye to Adam before the man disappeared since he had other matters to attend to before they embarked on their important mission, leaving (Y/N) to say a quick goodbye to the other Elites and the rest of the Acolytes before he took off with Lilith across his neck, the twins on his sides, and Byakko nearby. They quickly made it back to the room where the Malachites practically drooled over the naked and half-naked bodies of the woman draped over their lover’s body, but they were even more surprised to see Lilith and Byakko suddenly transform into forms that they had never seen before and talk to them. They were so surprised in fact that they woke the already half-awake group of comfortable bodies who were interested in the new arrivals.

Introductions were quickly had and, as (Y/N) expected, the twins lovely outgoing personalities instantly clicked with the rest of the group and they had no problem getting along with one another. They hugged kissed and talked for what felt like years as everyone connected with one another, at the same time, (Y/N)’s call-off teleported to go handle other activities leaving his OG to enjoy quality time with his lovely ladies. And for the most part, not only did he do this for that day, but he also did this for vast majority of that week and a half leading up to the long-awaited Summer Tournament. During this time of rest, he got incredibly, physically intimate with his lovers, spending hours upon hours at a time pleasing them and in return receiving lots of pleasure himself, not only that but also taking the girls out on many dates where they walked the campus doing any and everything they could since (Y/N) could easily pay for it all. It was during this time that he was able to establish his relationship with his interesting Faunus duo, Byakko and Lilith, having a deep discussion about how the two of them feel about their Master and how it went far beyond what should have been a Master servant, or even creator-creation, relationship. Byakko was a lot clearer with her feelings, clearly desiring a loving, romantic relationship with her Master and wanting a child to bear from that relationship, but she was also not concerned with time at all. She knew that she had an eternity for her desires to come to fruiting so she felt no need to hurry their partnership along.

Lilith on the other hand felt very similar but was much less sure of what she truly desired from her Master, only able to come to the conclusion that she loved him dearly and wanted to stay with him forever with a preference on a romantic partnership like the other woman. However, Lilith knew as well that time wasn’t an object for them, although she wasn’t nearly as patient as Byakko, she still felt that she was willing to wait a few hundred years for everything to fall in to place. He was easily able to accept both of their feelings and tell them how much he loved them both, and after that they decided to take things a bit slower since they had all the time in the world. Although they came to a happy conclusion at the end of the conversation, it still left a sour taste in his mouth as for the first time he realized the fact that he was immortal and currently his lovers were not, so he quickly had another goal that he needed to achieve. Once that conversation finished up, he spent a lot of time cuddling and snuggling with his hatched companions, taking care to enjoy the idle time he had with them since there hasn’t been much time for him to spend relaxing with them, especially Lilith.

It was also during this time that he had Ozpin formally meet all of the women that he was romantically involved with, he didn’t do so explicitly, he simply invited him to view them training for the tournament whenever he had free time. Unsurprisingly, he showed up to Glynda’s room almost immediately following the invitation and spent most of his time observing the strengths of the incoming freshman, focusing a lot of the girls since they would be becoming essential to the protecting Remnant according to (Y/N). (Y/N) told him a little about all of the women present, explaining the broader understanding of their backstories, how they got to Beacon, their strengths and personal importance to him, and how they will be impacting the future of the world. All of the women were present, Nix, Neyah, Pyrrha, Neo, Weiss, Blake, Mil &Mel, were all training harshly with Glynda as their teacher while Scarlet was lightly watching the entire exchange as she spoke with Byakko and Lilith about the future of the Demon Clan. Ozpin was surprised at first to see such dramatic looking Faunus women, but after being informed that they were a special case like himself he caught the underlying meaning and dropped the topic.

He was inquisitive about Miltia, Melanie, and Neo since he could clearly see that they were highly trained, talented, and capable, but he never knew them to be students at the Academy. He also noticed how effective they were when it came to combating other people, working extremely well to attack peoples weak spots and striking to kill rather than debilitate someone’s Aura which was not the traditional technique of a Huntress. That was when (Y/N) told Ozpin that they were already trained as effective fighters but were severely lacking in the Grimm Slaying training that all Huntsman are know for. He then included that he would like it if they were to be trained in that field as well, alerting him that all of the women present would be incredible assets to all of Remnant if they were trained to become great Huntresses. Ozpin quickly caught his drift and agreed with his sentiment, that very same day Neo, Miltia, Melanie, Lilith, and Byakko were all registered as S-Rank students at Beacon at the behest of the Headmaster himself, and while he was at it he gave Scarlet a very lowkey, high administrative job that gave her access to a lot of the school’s facilities. Scarlet essentially became Glynda’s personal assistant, although she didn’t directly answer to her, so they were more like equals than anything else.

When the girls weren’t vigorously training, they spent a lot of time exploring the campus as a means to spend time with one another. During his exploration of the campus nearly every day he was able to easily spot a bunch of familiar faces that he recognized from Rwby, giving him the opportunity to introduce himself to Ren, who was very polite, Nora, who was incredibly energetic, Fox, who barely spoke, and Yatsuhashi who was very upstanding. All of them already knew of (Y/N) which came as a surprise to him at first, but after remembering how much attention him and his lovers drew just by walking around, he understood why. Nora was clearly in a relationship with Ren which didn’t surprise him, but at the same time she seemingly had no filter when it came to complimenting other people’s attractiveness, mainly (Y/N)’s, in the presence of her partner, however Ren didn’t seem to mind at all. They talked for a while after introducing each other, getting familiar with one another as they figured that they would be classmates in the upcoming semester and more than likely for the rest of their time at Beacon, and following that convo they exchanged contact information allowing them to get in touch whenever.

Not only did he see new faces, he finally came in to contact with a ton of people he had met once before but wasn’t able to fully gain a relationship with those people included Coco, Velvet, Yang, and Ruby. He saw Coco and Velvet on a couple separate occasions, the first was when he was with Blake, Lilith, Byakko, and Neyah in a popular clothing store located in the Retail district on Beacon’s campus. They went to the store to fill out Byakko’s wardrobe as she still didn’t have any clothes to call her own and she had been wearing clothing given to her by the other lovers to wear temporarily. Not only were Coco and Velvet very surprised to see him, but they were also pleasantly surprised to see his new features which left Velvet a sputtering mess as she tried to formulate words in his presence. Coco laughed and teased the Bunny Faunus, while also not being shy at all about telling him how great he looked and the various less than family friendly things she would like to do to him. After becoming familiar with one another, and Byakko acting as if she never met them before, Coco decided to take the initiative in finding some clothes for Byakko to wear, dressing her up to down in finest and latest in Remnant fashion. Byakko didn’t like all of the excess clothing and they ended up settling on what was pretty much just design sports bras and spank like hotpants that she found comfortable. Instead of separating after leaving the store, they remained together for the rest of the day, talking, laughing, and enjoying one another’s company.

It was then that (Y/N) learned why the two of them were working at the entry way to Beacon’s campus on those late nights. Coco and Velvet explained how Beacon pays for all of a Students living expensive and is essentially free to attend to as log as you get accepted, however it is not possible to actively generate any wealth until a student is allowed to take missions during their second years, so if you want your own pocket change then you have to work for it. Velvet however, had a family that was struggling back home and since she was unable to help provide for her family while she attended Beacon, she decided to work at the school during her free time to make and send money back to her family in Menagerie. Coco obviously would’ve helped and just gave her the money that her family always sent to her, but Velvet didn’t want to accept any handouts, so she decided to support her by working the long nights by her side and forcing her to accept whatever paycheck she got from the job. (Y/N)’s heart was warmed by the story, and he gave the adorable bunny girl and her kind companion a deep, warm embrace that was quickly joined by everyone else that was there. After breaking the embrace, he gave the bunny girl a ‘small’ donation of $500,000 Lien to give to her family, which she immediately refused, but after taking in his scent, looking into his warm smile, and hearing that it wasn’t even really his money so it would come at no cost to him, she accepted his offer and cried happy tears pretty much for the rest of the day.

Coco was astonished by his donation and was practically drooling over him for the rest of the time they were together, but it was definitely justified as she had never seen anyone so naturally kind as him before. The entire group became incredibly close that day, let’s just say that a couple of women had their first times that night, and once they woke up the next morning the were greeted with the smile of their new lover. The second time (Y/N) saw Velvet and Coco was when they were on there way to training with their other two team members which was when he met Fox and Yatsuhashi, and although they were cool and Yatsu was very upstanding, it didn’t at all start that way. Fox seemed jealous that (Y/N) had relations with Coco and wouldn’t stop glaring at him and responding with passive aggressive passes at his character, and Yatsu didn’t at all agree with him laying with more than woman which he kind of understood. The conflict rose when Coco tried to tell them off and Velvet raised her voice probably for the first time in her life, but it was quickly resolved after (Y/N) suggested a quick bout of strength just to relieve some of the stress and allow them to understand him through fist rather than word. They swiftly agreed and were met with an overwhelming defeat which made Yatsu come to the understanding that a man of his caliber shouldn’t be held to one lover, and Fox decided that being jealous of someone like him would be pointless, so they ended up as cool after that, although Fox still didn’t want to talk to him, but he didn’t talk to anyone, so it was pretty normal.

When (Y/N) crossed paths with Yang and Ruby, he was in Vale proper walking around the town with Neo, Scarlet, and both Mil & Mel, he managed to see them at Diamonds To Dust, wondering around the outside of the store. The streets were bustling, not only because it was the middle of the afternoon, but also because the Dust shops had finally received the products that they ordered all those weeks ago, allowing them to be fully stocked and sell everything at their usual prices that seemed dirt cheap to the customers. Ruby was being very loud and energetic as usual, practically bouncing around her sister while Yang was dragging Ruby into the store, irritated at the number of people that were trying buy the same things that she was. (Y/N)’s group was already visiting the store to see Rouge, so the Faunus man figured that this was probably the best time to introduce himself to the sisters. Once he and his group entered the store, they pushed through the long lines and massive groups as they walked directly to the front of the line, stepping behind the desk as they did so. Yang, of course, got pissy and started yelling them from other side of the desk and that’s when Rouge, the ‘owner’, came out from the back to greet her lovely guests, wrapping both (Y/N) and Scarlet in deep hugs as her greeting.

She also shook hands with the twins since it was her first time meeting the joyful duo, and once Yang saw that she quieted down, but (Y/N) took that opportunity to allow Yang and Ruby to join them in the back, with the permission of Rouge, which they were both grateful for. Yang and Ruby both came to the store for Dust, obviously, but (Y/N) didn’t understand why they didn’t just get it from Beacon, so he asked. Apparently, the last time they got Dust ammunition from Beacon they didn’t like the quality of it, so now they don’t trust them which was understandable. (Y/N) introduced himself to the red and yellow haired women, and his lovers did the same, Ruby and Yang did the same thing, also including their thanks for allowing them to cut the lines. During the introductions, Yang recognized Miltia and Melania as the girls that accompanied the Redman in his office, and once she did that, she quickly got suspicious of the other people present, asking why they let them behind the counter. Rouge said that it was because Ruby had helped protect her shop when she was attacked by the Xiong and Ruby quickly tried to set the record straight as to what actually happened, but no one listened to her, instead just giving her the praise for it. Throughout their entire conversation, Yang kept saying that (Y/N) felt incredibly similar to someone she had met before, but he of course denied ever meeting her which only increased her suspicions.

Ruby on the other hand was completely oblivious to the conflict that was arising in her sister’s head, instead focusing on what Dust she wanted to acquire, but once (Y/N) purposefully brought up scythes she quickly latched onto that topic and never let it go. After the topic was brought up, Yang immediately knew who (Y/N) was and nobody in the group needed to uphold the confidentiality of his alter ego anymore, and once they walked all the way upstairs and into the office they started to catch up. Once Yang knew that (Y/N) was the Redman, her demeanor softened up a ton, it was almost completely night and day from how she treated him before. She answered his questions with a fiery politeness, constantly playfully punching his shoulder whenever he made a joke or gave her a compliment, he even swore he saw her blush a few times which was cute. He learned a lot that day about what the two of them had been up too in the past week, Yang spent most of her time introspecting and trying to figure out what she wanted to with the info about her mom and (Y/N) suggested that she just sit on it, continue training as a huntress, and wait for an opportunity to come for her to do something major about it. Yang found (Y/N)’s advice to be perfect for her current situation and for the first time since she learned about it, her mind came to a screeching halt, and she found peace in his words. Ruby on the other hand was extremely slow on the come up, not realizing that (Y/N) was Redman until Yang told her directly, but even then, still saying ‘but (Y/N) is (Y/N) and Redman is Redman, how can they be the same person?’. He then had to change into his Devil appearance right before her eyes for her to realize that they were one in the same, and once she did, she leaped onto him and gave him a tight hug, telling him how much she missed him.

Ruby’s situation was different from Yang’s as she was told her whole life that her mother was dead and for the first time, she was given hope in the form of (Y/N)’s/Redman’s words, so she wasn’t in turmoil at all, not sad, not even a little bummed out, instead she was completely ecstatic about the possibility of her mom being alive. She was fueled even more by that idea and because of that Redman had given her even more reasons to live and strive for more. So, Ruby had spent the majority of her time, training, designing, and fortifying not only her weapons and body, but also her mind as she prepared for the next step in finding her mother. She’s been trying to design Crescent rose to better accommodate her weaknesses and training her own body, so she isn’t completely useless without it, and Ruby also wanted to wait on the weapon design process because she wanted to create a weapon with (Y/N), which he found adorable. He let Ruby know that he found her very cute, which prompted her to blush a lot, and once he said that he’d be more than happy to build some weapons with her, she practically fused with his body from how tightly she clung to him.

Soon after that, they exchanged contact information and (Y/N) told them where he stayed at so they could visit whenever, and he gave them some Dust from his personal vault for free as a parting gift. The rest of that day was spent talking with Scarlet and Rouge as they drank, well, Scarlet Rouge’s in celebration of making it successfully through the Dust drought, Roman’s bullshit, and the beginning of the end for Jacques. One drink quickly became two, then three, then 10 as they celebrated the night away in the small office, and once the liquid courage got introduced into Rouge’s system, she turned into quite the animal and changed that night for the better. Soon after the exciting exchange, (Y/N) had a bunch of sleeping bodies that he needed to return to their proper homes which he did swiftly, allowing everyone to wake up the next morning in the bed of Scarlet’s home that she barely used now.
