《CARNAGE CARNIVORE - A dragon devouring faeries...-》Missile

A month later, I invited my succulent "friends" and the dwarves to come out of their mountain and admire the show in the stars, towards the West.
Kate was finally able to come out, rejuvenated and having regained her strength. Slowly she stuck to me, seeing that as a dragon or as a human, we were still the same.
Star and Waspy were in front of us, sitting on a stone while I watched the show. From the roof of the outer tower of the bunker/palace, hatches opened and revealed a warhead.
The whole thing was a launch pad.My first rocket with a runic computer.
The sky was clear and the sun had just set, beckoning the night to reveal its myriad stars. The air was so clear that the beauty of the Milky Way could be seen without instruments, but dark clouds loomed to the east. Probably the mood of the elves was influencing the weather??? Who knows? We had gone to a rocky promontory, outside the bunker and I was protecting my dragoness.
It's true that she didn't realize yet that she was at the top of the food chain but she had to accept herself little by little.
"Kate, I promise you that one day you will find your beautiful hair.."
And she leaned her head against mine.
"Hans, you are very hot.."
And I held her close to me. We were half lying down, leaning on our front paws to watch the show.
Then red lights started to flash and a siren with a countdown started. The silence generated hit the whole valley and then the only thing that sounded was the sirens.
The wind carried the sound far away, and it could be heard for dozens of kilometers. Everyone had a premonition and all the intelligent creatures stopped what they were doing and looked up.

Infra-sounds appeared and like a thunder that doesn't stop, the celestial vault lit up with a star followed by a plume of fire, like a comet, or a shooting star.
It left behind a streak of light and then the sound came like the rumble of a drum.Hinting at the power of the northern dragon.
The dragon Carnage!
The goblin king stared in horror at the sinister star rising to the heavens.
"This monster defies the gods... "
The elf king and the fairy queen also looked at the star rising to the heavens.
"Tyrant had done well to eradicate these demons... Only one survived, with rage in his soul...and this is the result."...
"Kate, with this we will be able to see the extent of the disaster and see if other bunkers or other humans would have survived..."
But I was lying to myself... The only ones who could survive were the astronauts who managed to get away and the ark, colonization and mining ships, the hibernation technology had just been developed and the atomic propulsion was used without testing due to the ecologists but in the last times, it was the last of the worries.
Kate didn't recognize all of my facial expressions, but she sensed that I was hiding an even more horrible reality but didn't want to admit it to herself.
I looked down when it was like that. Then she raised her head and looked at Waspy and wanted to stroke her hair but she moved away, out of reach.
She turned around and got down on her knees.
"Master, I await your command," ignoring Kate. Kate turned to me and looked at me with a questioning face..
"Waspy is only human in appearance. It is a giant wasp that follows my orders."

She had a look of despair.
"Kate, don't take Waspy personally, but she is a formidable soldier. She would be able to tear you to pieces if she wasn't sentient. That's why I protected you.
The world around us is hypocritical.
The creatures that are here, even if they are beautiful, and cute, are no less fearsome.
But I have allies who can keep you company.
The mountain dwarves. They are the closest thing to humans.
You might say survivors."
"But, Hans... If we approach the elves, and the fairies, in peace, we could exchange our technology and knowledge and trade with them? Establish relationships and live in peace?"
I frowned, showing an annoyed look.
"Kate, as soon as they see you, you'll be riddled with arrows and at best, you'll be captured for trade money and chopped into pieces to make me return.
They know our technology, which is taboo. They dig up the remains of our civilization and smelt metals and destroy all traces of us on earth, as if we had never existed.
They are devoid of feelings, yes, they are like us but they have something horrible. The lack of empathy.
I had to execute Waspy who cried. And I spared her.
Her friend defied me and denied her own existence saying that she would return at the next dew.
But what you don't know is that when they come back, they block all the souls of the humans who have disappeared from this world without being able to come back, isolating them in a hell, depriving them of the right to reincarnate, of the right for their souls to continue their path.
We must kill them all... without heart, without exception..."
Kate: "But this is monstrous!..."
Then she looked at me.
"You are crazy, Hans..."
"Then come with me.. we'll meet a friend.. Raldur"
And we both flew away, escorted by a dozen armed drones.
Meanwhile, the satellite/robot was setting up and deploying its solar panels. The runic computer underwent a variation and went to safety. Probably the work of aliens cutting off the magic in space to counterattack my deployment. But the computer designed and built by Cabal resisted and was protected by my draconic magic.
Soon my ground antenna was deployed and the ancient revised mechanism began to spin and communicate with the satellite. It had many capabilities, such as positioning, and could be used to accurately aim at unidentified objects such as targets on the ground, in the air or in space.
But also scan the deep space, detect signals but especially scan the earth surface and predict the weather and space weather, in case a next solar flare would occur.
We could see the old satellites still in orbit damaged by radiation and unable to communicate with the ground.
A drone had the task of reactivating what could be reactivated, especially the military satellites, carrying nuclear charges.
Cabal could crack the codes but had a database of codes from that time.
But the satellite received a weak signal from space and a link was established.
A bit was hooked and queries were requested.
Identification codes and positioning codes.
A ship was approaching! From the blackness of space, an old structure had been drifting for centuries like a tomb, but a small red lamp lit up and a red light appeared, revealing dozens of capsules covered in dust and spider webs...

The Crisis on Planet 9
Welcome to the dream colony Planet 9, where the streets are stained by blood and the buildings are filled with human remains. The creatures roaming among the abandoned cars and flying vehicles resemble almost to perfection the mindless cannibalistic zombies born from the fictional nightmares of mankind. The cities were built in the retro style of the 21st century, but the technology of the 24th century is ever present, mostly within the bodies of those mortally challenged monstrosities. After all, what turned them into these things was not an evolved organic virus, an alien disease, or some sort of magical artifact, it was the corrupted and reprogrammed nanobots within their bodies. Originally, they were meant to heal them and help them access the tech around them, but now they were the origin of this disaster. Among the rotting dead and the Nano-Z, as the survivors called them, Kardian Pandora awakens two months after getting bit by one of them. A young teacher at the local Resonance High, foolish and naive in his own way, but now driven by the Sapient AI in the nanobots inside his body to hunt down other Nano-Z and learn how to survive. For now, his only goal is to become strong enough and rejoin his students and fellow colleagues, foolishly hoping to somehow be able to get back to the time when the undead did not rule the streets. Will Kardian be able to survive in this new savage world or will his naive outlook lead him to a dead end? Volume 1 can be bought on Amazon: Resonance High
