That's one hell of a laugh…
…
..
.
Ignoring Anki’s comment, I fell silent soon after…
The mountain was quiet. Sitting down at the very top of the mountain my eyes fixated on the village; small plumes of smoke slowly bellowed from a couple of the rooftops… I don’t have a way to increase my mana… I guess I should ask Anki…
Now that I think about it, would anything I used to read help? Closing my eyes I tried my best to concentrate all of my energy into my mana slowly releasing a small amount of mana to mix with the surroundings, slowly pooling around my skin... Before slowly pulling it back over and over… While it seemed like it would take some time, it still did grow.. Slowly…
I sat in the same spot for what felt like days repeating the same thing over and over until it became almost as normal as a breath. Before my body finally snapped out of it, My eyes felt glued shut slowly prying them apart. The soft glow of the moons filled the air.

About 7 hours have passed since you started.
~ Congratulations on increasing your mana by three fold in such a short time… I really didn't think that breathing technique would work. It's definitely something that should be against the world's rules… Do you have a name for it ?
Quickly standing to my feet my vision quickly fell short before everything started to fade… The bright blue screen quickly flashed before my eyes flashing with bright color before slowing to a pulse
*Ping
Breath!!!! Did you forget how???
Taking a deep breath my vision slowly began to come back… breathing a couple more time i finally started to see like normal again…
*Ping
Are you going to stop releasing and absorbing the surrounding mana?
Oh I guess I didn't even notice… must have done it for too long… Taking a step forward my knees began to buckle beneath me… Taking another deep breath my legs began to steady… My body no longer wants to breathe on its own…
Rather it was slowly absorbing the surrounding mana… taking another deep breath I tried my best to shut off my mana flow… slowly taking a step forward each breath heavier than the last every step I needed to constantly breathe… like my body forgot…
*Ping
Found the issue..
~ Burden of Myths (Passive):
While some understood the hardships A living legend or myth carried on its shoulder little knew that everything has a price. Said breathing technique was created with the thoughts and in detail knowledge of a legends path of creation of said skill.
While it is still Not Complete, still a far superior skill for mana production.
~ Rewrites your diaphragm muscle memory to absorb the surrounding mana slowly, But takes away the effect of Unconscious breathing.

With a deep breath in then out i tried to calm my head and think back to the stories i used to read.. Was there anything like these?
Before I knew it my vision began to fade again… taking a deep breath it slowly returned.

Ice magic and ice Domain control have risen by 2 levels.
Staring at my status it slowly started to shift… or glitch before my title suddenly changed forcing open the new titles information.
Anki? What's with the sudden change?
*Ping
Mmm I have no clue… I've never even heard of the title let alone your new skill…
Great… with a sudden deep breath I slowly moved my way down the mountain, still trying to wrap my head around the fact I had to think of breathing normally… with each step I corresponded it to a breath, breathing in then out with each step, while it was kind of tedious and I tend to forget every ten steps or so which i quickly catch due to my body becoming heavier or my sight begins to fade…
While it did take me much longer to move down the mountain side this time it gave me time to think…
While meditating to absorb mana I was trying to recreate the (Black dragons under breath technique and the Blue whale breathing technique) for the main base… it was just some random gibberish of fake techniques offline that I found when I was younger years before I met the old man i thought they would work well together but they were just fakes anyways… Now that I think about it, when I met the old man I was still using the techniques… Even if it didn't make me stronger, it still was exercise to keep me healthy so I practiced it every night… since I got here I haven't though, I thought it was useless…

Coming back from through and taking a deep breath in, I slowly made my way down the rest of the mountain. Before rounding the corner to the Den. looking up at the moons shining quietly in the sky… They should be moving Mearie soon… with another deep breath I tried my best to run, trying to keep the constant thought to breath in my head was hard… moving faster to the den I quickly came to the entrance of the Den where Dusk was waiting patiently. Slowing my pace I quickly came next to him… swallowing my breath. I tried my best to keep it in thought breathing quietly in and out through my nose.
“I’m leaving soon… Has Snow woken up yet?”
With a quick shake of his head he quietly sat down in front of the Den, following after i quickly sat down.
His voice was sore and shaky but his words still stuck like day.
“Snow can watch your mother. All follow in his place.”
Quickly looking over at him his eyes immediately met mine. I couldn't say another word. Nor could I change his mind if I did. With silence I shut my eyes before taking a deep breath in and out.
“Let's go.”
Slowly standing to my feet I could feel his eyes staring at me before he quickly stood to his feet. After a few seconds of silence we both bolted into the tree line. Jumping up and down and darting between the large black trunks of trees with a quick glance back, I could see Dusk weaving a bobbing quickly behind me.
With another deep breath I tried my best to pick up speed, trying my best not to forget to breathe… without a second thought we both came shooting from the tree line right to the first guard post stationed outside the forest. Slowing down I came to a skidding halt Dusk came soon after. Kicking up dirt beneath both of us we quickly moved closer to the outpost.
Unlike before the camp was silent there wasn’t even a fire going. Quickly moving around the small outpost we headed right down the path to the village. Moving quickly down the stone paved path we both ran right into two villagers.
Both Dusk and I slammed into the chest of the two villagers without a second thought sending both of them crashing to their back and stopping us dead in are tracks. Without a second thought I quickly jumped onto the closest of the two going straight for his neck before he could alert the others… Dusk Quickly followed but before he could was punched in the side of the head by the villager. Still clamping his jaw down he missed by only a couple inches sending his bite straight onto the man's shoulder. The man screamed out in pain… Dusk was a good 200 pound wolf with enough bite force to take down anything in the forest… The man's scream rang throughout the field. Before dusk quickly silenced him with another bite right to the jugular. Both body's laded motionless in the field. With heavy breath i quickly drugged both the body's into the field before calling Dusk over to hid… lucky I had remembered just in time.
The sound of iron clanking against the stone quickly filled the air. Before I knew it the knight had already moved to the scene. Without a second thought I quickly devoured the two body's that I pulled to the brush. Looking over at Dusk who was stunned looking at the empty space where the body's once laid before me. Shaking my head I quickly gestured at the Armored knight quickly walking from the village gates.
Taking a deep breath in, I quietly moved deeper into the field trying my best to stay out of the knight sight… if here it means they haven't left yet…
Looking back at the entrance of the village I quickly moved closer… she has to be somewhere in here right? But where…
The sound of metal clashing against the stone had gotten stronger. Keeping my breath in check I slowly made my way down the side of the stone path: slowly moving through the field just adjacent Dusk quickly followed behind.
Within an instant it was silent. Quickly stopping in my tracks Dusk was barely able to notice in time just about running right into me before stopping. A groan of a voice rang though the field just a few feet behind us, rather it was cold and gloom of a voice…
“I know.. You're around.. Come.”
Looking back at Dusk who seemed slightly confused on the broken form of speech. We both nodded and slowly started moving closer to the gate… There was no need to fight him if Mearie can be saved without it.
Moving to the edge of the field and peeking through, I was surprised to see no one guarding the gate this time… Motioning to Dusk who quickly poked his head though.
* “They must only be relying on the knight… I killed a couple the other day, maybe the rest are just normal villagers?”*
With a quick shake of his head Dusk Nudge back at the Knight on the path. With a heavy breath I knew exactly what he wanted to do… But was there any need?
With a sigh I quickly turned around and headed back towards the Knight Dusk quickly following in toe.
