“Hi Mr Rossi,” Zoe greeted Tony after he answered her call.

“Hi Zoe. How are you doing kid?”

“I’m doing about as good as can be expected. Doc Brown said she all but flayed me alive, though I’m healing, and my hair is growing back. A couple more days and I might be able to brush it,” Zoe answered. Nobody had told her she would need to be shaved of all her hair to have the subdermal weave installed.

“Ha. I’m sure she’s just pulling your chain. Armoring your noggin is important to protect your storage space though,” Tony replied. They made small talk for a few minutes. Neither one was truly interested in doing so, but some things were expected to be done, and small talk was one of those before getting to business. After a few minutes Tony asked, “So, why did you call? I know you’re not ready for work.”

“I want to borrow another 25000 credits,” Zoe said in a quiet voice.

Tony laughed. “Kid, you already owe us 25000 credits, which is a lot more than we originally thought we would be lending you. Doc Brown gave us a decent discount, if not, you would owe us 30K.”

“I’m aware of that.”

“Good. So, why should I ask Nucky to ok giving you more? You haven’t even made a run for us yet.”

“I need wheels.”

“You could have gotten a decent frame and car for 25000 credits.”

“I disagree MR Rossi.”

“Please, call me Tony.”

“Thanks Tony. But I could only have gotten a cheap car and a lower tier frame for 25000. I wouldn’t have been able to get the w…armor for my storage space or some of the daemons that will make doing what Mr Capone and I discussed with you possible.”

Tony sighed. “Alright. That’s a good point. Still, you can get a vehicle for less than 25K.”

“Not a good one. I want something that will not only be fast and efficient, but I also want something that will last me a long time. That way, I can pay Mr Capone back quicker.”

“That’s another good point. I take it you have something in mind?”

“I do. Could I send you a link?”

“Sure,” Tony replied. He grunted a few seconds later. “That’s a sweet machine. Hang on, let me run this by the boss.”

“Nucky, Jimmy’s cousin wants to borrow another 25K.”

“Why does the girl want to do that?” Nucky asked.

“For this,” Tony replied to his captain sending him the link Zoe had sent him.

“Nice ride,” Nucky admitted after scanning the webpage. “It’s not my kind of thing, but I suppose one of the boys or a gangbanger would like to buy it from us when all is said and done. Just make sure she knows how deep she is getting.”

“Sure thing, Nucky.”

“Actually, let’s give the girl a test and say we’ll pay her a grand if she can do what I want in addition to the new loan.”

“She’s still healing.”

“I know. That won’t stop her from using her frame and doing some slicing though.”

“Zoe’s a slicer? Right, I forgot about that,” Tony said. Nucky nodded his head.

“I almost had as well,” Nucky replied.

“Alright. What do you have in mind?”

“I apologize it took so long, but Nucky can be a bit of a windbag at times,” Tony laughed when he returned to Zoe’s call.

“That’s alright. What did he say?”

“Nucky will approve the 25K on the condition that you do a little job for us now.”

“I’m still bedridden,” Zoe replied.

“That’s ok. The boss just wants you to do some slicing.”

“Ok,” Zoe huffed. She was not pleased by them wanting her to do a job already, especially one that she probably wouldn’t get paid for. “What does he have in mind?”

“Something simple. Turn that product page you sent me into an advertisement for Capones Italian Bar and Grill that redirects the page’s visitor to the restaurant’s site. Nucky said he’ll pay you a grand for doing so, which means you’ll owe us 49K total,” Tony said.

“I…fine. I can do that. I should have it done in a few hours,” Zoe replied sending Aperture at the site.

“Good. We’re going to send Jimmy and Tommy with you when you go get your new ride. That way we can ensure that the salespeople don’t try to take advantage of you since you’re a girl.”

“I don’t need that sort of help,” Zoe objected. “It’s not like this is the 20th century.”

“Trust me, you do. And it’s happening regardless,” Tony replied.

“Alright. You’ve made up your mind about that and I don’t want to argue,” Zoe said. “What about the ad? Anything in particular you want it to be like?”

“Something classy,” Tony replied. “Now get to it.”

“Asshole,” Zoe muttered after Tony had hung up. “Classy huh? How about classic instead?” Zoe asked herself as inspiration hit. “What was the name of that movie about Al Capone?”

“Capones Italian Bar and Grill serves traditional Italian cuisine so fine that it’ll hit you over the head like a mobster welding a baseball bat,” Nucky read as the ad changed to a scene from the classic movie The Untouchables where Robert DeNiro’s Capone bashed one of his underlings with a bat at a dinner table. The scene ended and his restaurant’s site popped up before blood was showed. Nucky laughed.

“That is not what I meant by classy,” Tony said.

“It’s not classy in the traditional sense, but it’s funny,” Nucky replied. “Take the grand off what she owes.”
