Anthea's Pov
Saying I was impatient, would have been the understatement of the century.
Since my parents had passed and someone had heard, I still don't know where, I was the new millionaire of this damn town, every stupid teenage of this high school had tried to befriend me.
That thought made me smile. God knows how much I had loved to make them understand we weren't and would never be friends. Some of them are still afraid to look at me... What a shame.
On the other hand, since then, I had actually been friends with Renesmee. And I was gladly surprised to have someone I could trust my inner thoughts with; it was nice to be able for once to be myself and not be judged for it. We would go to the others home and cook for each other while laughing. The only thing I had learned not to say was my feelings towards her boyfriend. No matter how hard I tried, there was no way I would like him. Even when he was pleasant with me, there was something inside my head that just make me disgusted by him.
Anyways, today was the last day of school before the winter vacations, and I had already bought my plane tickets for Italy, had managed to rent an apartment close to the castle of Volterra, and I had gathered every piece of information I could get about these apparently nonexistent Volturis.
I would board the plane tonight, and I just had to tell Renesmee I was going on vacations to get my head out of the fact I would be alone in Christmas, I was making my way to the parking lot, when suddenly I had this feeling inside of me.
It was as if someone had warned me.
I could not tell ANY of the Cullens where I was going.
In that exact moment, a hand touched my back, and I jumped out of my thoughts.
"Hey!" - Said Renesmee- "We have been looking for you"
I looked around, and found myself surrounded by the whole family. And again, this strange feeling, just made me stare into Isabella's eyes. And then I felt relief.
"Hi" - I said back, giving everyone a faked smile- "I was too; I need to tell you something"
"Something happened?" - She asked worriedly- "Because I was going to invite you to come to my house on Christmas, so you don't have to be alone"
"Yeah, it kind of did" - I said, and rapidly thought of an excuse- "Some relatives I have in Greece invited me to spend the holidays with them, and I wanted to be with my family or at least with what remains of it"
"Oh..." – She said- "No, I completely understand... When are you leaving?"
While we were having this conversation, I could feel the stares everyone was sharing, especially Edward's, who was staring at me with a shocked expression.
"Tonight" – I answer- "I didn't want to say anything before because the walls have ears inside there" – I said looking at the high school building-
"Aw, I'm going to miss you" – She said while hugging me –
She then stared at me
"Promise me you are going to call" - She Demanded-
I laughed but truthfully said "I promise"

Edward's Pov
This was impossible.
I had been able to read her mind since the first day, and now, not only I couldn't do it, but Alice couldn't see her future either.
This was bad news.
I saw the way she was speaking with Renesmee and I was able to see that this girl, even when she was a danger for the whole town including my family, somehow, had managed to actually care for Renesmee.
For now, we will have to trust in her word, and be glad she's going to Greece. There's no way she'll find Caius there.
Anthea's Pov
It was late at night when I finally boarded the plane, and I was genuinely tired of the day, so the moment the plane took off, I fell asleep.
When some stewardess woke me up, It was 5 in the morning but I couldn't contain my excitement, for the first time in a very long time, I felt happy.
I was in Italy.
The rest of my morning consisted in taking trains, trying to get to a Volterra as soon as possible.
When I finally arrived to the apartment I had rented it was close to noon, the day had developed in a hot and shiny one, but I was hungry so I decided to go out and have something to lunch instead of unpacking.I quickly sent Renesmee a text saying I had arrived and was with my family telling her not to worry if I didn't respond quickly because the reception was terrible. And then I was out.
The city was even more beautiful than I had even dreamed of; the ancient architecture gave the idea of being trapped on a fairytale and the smell of fresh homemade bread that was in the environment was hypnotizing. I stopped by a bakery whose cinnamon smell was the most inviting.
After eating something I finally arrived back to the center of the city; close to my apartment was a square, full of tourists, who were amazed by everything they saw and took photographs of anything that called their attention. But the main architecture exhibition of the whole city was the Volterra's Castle and it's clock tower.
Without realizing it, I started walking through the square straight to the entrance of the castle, in an almost hypnotized way. Suddenly I was dragged to a group of tourist who were surrounding a tall brunette woman, who was wearing a black cloak, her eyes of were a weird shade of purple, and her skin was as pale as the Cullen's maybe even paler.
She said this was a free tour of the castle and that this was the only way we could get in, she counted we were a hundred people, and started walking, I followed her. But the same feeling that had made me lie to Renesmee told me to be the last to enter and to stay a little behind of the group.
The inside of the castle had an almost gothic atmosphere and was lost in time, it's walls covered by what seemed to be renaissance paintings and there even were some torturing devices.
We were on the last stop before the court room, and all the tourists were rushed to get there, and I had noticed lots of black cloaks entering there before we did which I found odd.

When a cold breeze made me look to the left, I saw a tiny and dark passage only lighted by one candle; the passage had an enormous painting inside of it. After looking around and founding myself alone, I decided to follow my instincts and avoid the court room. And entered the passage instead, in that moment it's door closed, leaving me in the dark.
As I was about to yell for help, I started hearing the screams of everyone who had enter the court room, so my hand went straight to my mouth before I could make any sound. This was the very first time in my life that I had been scared.
I tried to think clearly and thought that if they knew of this passage it was better to be far away from its entrance. So I took the candle, and started walking deeper and deeper into a hallway that seemed to have no end, occasionally seeing a painting and hearing fast steps outside its safe walls.
Suddenly, I heard the most angelical, terrifying and mesmerizing voice I had ever heard, so much that it sent a chill down my spine.
"How on earth did you lost a human?!" - He said-
"I'm sorry master! – Said the voice I could remember was of the tour guide- "She must not be far, no one has exited the castle"
I could tell she was terrified of this so called master, and I'm glad she was going through trouble.
I knew I had to be more careful when walking, since they now were looking for me. So even when I didn't want to I entered another hallway, which led even deeper into the castle.
I lost count of the burns I got from the candle wax and I was tired when the thing I came looking appeared in front of my eyes.
I had seen all the paintings this hallway had to offer, but they all had been historical moments, however, now, in front of my eyes, was a portrait of my red eyed god. The painting seemed to be older than the one the Cullen's had in their house, but by the feeling that looking into his eyes caused in me, I was certain it was him. And now I could only imagine him with the so called master's voice.
And although all I wanted was to stay there forever, I knew I had to keep walking, something in me knew I couldn't stay a lot of time in one place.
I didn't know how much time had passed by, when I saw some lights in the hallway, and although I didn't trust the light because that meant somebody could see me, I needed to see if I was able to exit this place.
To my surprise, I found myself inside the court room, to my left there were the doors of it, and to my right three wood thrones. Out of nowhere the doors opened violently, my hands once again in my mouth preventing me of making any sound.
Three shadows passed in an unbelievable speed and now the thrones had three men sitting on them. I looked at them, and my eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing, these men, were the ones of the painting, including the blonde, red eyed god.
Suddenly a large man, of the size of Emmet and a slim red haired one entered holding the tour guide.
When one of the men in the throne spoke everything went silent
"Heidi, my dear" – He made a pause- "Can you tell us what happened today?"
The woman, looking terrified, took a deep breath and said
"Master, today, when I was gathering the tourists, I saw a girl how was about to enter the castle on her own. So I took her and made her part of the group"- She explained-
I was shocked to see the consequences my escape had for the woman. It almost made me feel sad for her, almost.
"It's okay dear" – He said grabbing her hand and looking at her-
He then proceeded to walk to his throne, located in the middle.
"Demetri"- Said the one on the left throne- "Can't you just locate her?"
This man sounded somehow interested yet bored at the same time.
"I have tried all day master" –Said the red haired man- "But she seems to have disappeared, I can't track one single smell"
The room went silent
"It's just like Isabella" – Said somebody but I couldn't tell who it was–
But with that, hell was unleashed.
Everyone started talking making suppositions of where I was.
"SILENCE" – Said my blonde god looking down-
"Brother, are you okay?" –The middle one asked- "You been acting really weird today"
He didn't respond, he just looked up, and somehow he looked straight at where I was. I saw how he smelled the air.
"Athenodora, come here" – He said-
I could tell no one understood what was happening
"Yes, my dear" – A woman appeared-
She was tall, pale, like everybody seem to be here, almost unhealthily thin and didn't have a single curve in his body.
"Come" – He said, making her come closer-
She seemed to be pleased, and tried to kiss him. But in that moment, he took her by her neck, causing lots of cracks to appear in her porcelain like skin. Nobody said anything, but I could tell they were just as shocked as I was. He then proceeded to decapitate her and set her on fire.
I knew I should feel terrified by that view, but something in my head made me feel pleased as I saw her body turning to ashes.
"Caius" – Said the one in the middle, trying to call his attention-
"Not now Aro" – The god, who now I knew was called Caius, said as he stood-
He started walking in my direction, and that was when I left my thought and started running. I heard a loud sound in the wall, and tried to run even faster. When a hand grabbed me by my back and the next thing I know, I'm in the middle of the court room, everybody is looking at me, curious.
"What do we have here?"- Caius says with the scariest smile I had seen-

Superior Era

That’s exactly the predicament Dario finds himself in and he’s thoroughly vexed by it. After all, what sort of sane person would want to miss out on sleep? A madman, that's who. But parenting? There was none. Yet a struggle nearly every member of the Races is not foreign to. I...must have lived under a rock. Across aeons no less. What a humbling revelation.
