《Dawn Of The Lilies》Crystals

Some were born with abilities, others were born mundane, and then there was Jungkook. Could you really consider his condition an ability?
Jungkook wore a blank expression. His eyes, void of any emotion.
Even the doctors were baffled by his condition. Scientists would run tests on him trying to prove the accusations of others to be false. Only to become overly fascinated with his condition. Informing a man most foul of Jungkook's peculiar nature.
His loving mother prayed for a cure. While the doctors stopped searching for one and the scientists.
Well— they found his complete void of feelings to be the perfect specimen for a ruthless killing machine.

"Nice form Jungkook." The instructor praised, as Jungkook slammed his foot into the mannequin making it slide back 15ft. Crouching down first, he pushed off the ground to spin. Landing a hard kick to the mannequin's chest. It soared through the air shattering to pieces against the stone wall.
Jungkook stood up straight, brushing himself off and bowed. The instructor gawked at the destroyed mannequin. It wasn't really from surprise. More so that the department was running out and they didn't have new funding until the beginning of The Lilies.
They needed the funding to train their lethal weapon.
That weapon being Jungkook.
A well built young man who made very precise and sharp movements. Nothing swayed his attention, his focus driven by command only when training. When he wasn't training he would come off as aloof.
"Briggs!" A tall slender man from the doorway called. His white suit crisp complimented by a white lily resting on his lapel.
Briggs commanded Jungkook to halt. To which the raven-haired boy stopped abruptly, eyes trained ahead at the gray slate wall.
"Yes Mr. Wang."
The man gestured to Jungkook. "How is he progressing?"

Briggs beamed like a proud father.
"Incredible sir. Jungkook is extremely advanced for his age. He is focused and doesn't appear to become fatigued even after hours of grueling training."
Mr. Wang rubbed his chin a dark expression consuming his once serene features.
"Most excellent... Continue."
Briggs bowed, before he jogged back to where Jungkook stood motionless. Jungkook's muscles twitched at Briggs' command, with one fluid motion he palm heeled a mannequin's face clean off.
Mr. Wang smirked.
Lifting his wrist, he demanded.
"Bring me the boy."
Then disappeared into thin air.
The more he crushed, smashed, and destroyed things... the less human this boy seemed to Briggs. Which was scary to say the least. He'd never seen anyone quite like him. He didn't show much of an interest in anything. He did have a curiosity for emotions and he would often ask Briggs about his facial expressions. Which he would oblige. Aside from a curiosity no other emotion showed.
"Jungkook— well done today. You can go home if you like."
Briggs praised a little distracted. Jungkook bowed, then walked off saying goodbye but nothing more. He didn't high five. He didn't hug. The perfect soldier—or weapon if you will.
Briggs sat down on the ground, pulling out a device. The device whirred to life and Ayla's face appeared. Ayla was Jungkook's mother, who worried so much for him. So to ease her anxiety Briggs would call her to let her know when he left and how Jungkook's training went.
Although he knew she didn't want to hear about his training. Ayla despised Wang for demanding his ability be used for protection. Brigg's still let her know his progression.
"I'm glad he is on his way home. Thank you Briggs." Was all she said before her face vanished.

Jungkook
Briggs seemed happy with his progress. Jungkook guessed that was the appropriate emotion. For the way Briggs' reacted and his words. As Jungkook walked along the pathway to his home near the woods.
He saw many people wandering about. Some using their abilities to create things to sell for crystals. No one worried themselves over the paper money from a time long forgotten.
"Hey Boy! I've made a potion here. It can cure anxiety and the shakes..." the elderly woman explained waving her hand to display a bottle of glowing red elixir. Jungkook looked at it unfazed, although curious. What is anxiety?
"I don't have anxiety." His voice was flat when he spoke. The lady guffawed at him when Jungkook continued to walk. He would have to ask his mother about it when he returned home. Besides, he only had enough crystals for food at the Galla down the street.
Entering the Galla streams of water fell through vines lined with colorful fruits. Each held a different quality of use.
Jungkook's mother seemed to fancy the green ones shaped like stars. To him they were bitter and sickeningly sweet at the same time. So he preferred the red ones. Which she said made him an old soul. Jungkook didn't understand.. but apparently they survived the destruction of the old world, when the lilies first appeared. They were known as apples.
He picked up a basket, taking several of the green star fruits and apples. Then walked aimlessly to find meat, when he did the man was chopping vigorously at what appeared to be a lamb.
"How much for a pound sir?" Jungkook asked patiently while the man smeared blood across the apron on his chest. "2 blue crystals..." he said gruffly. His eyes were a gray color, and his hair fell in strings around his ears that were pointed.
"Hmmm...." Jungkook looked around, digging out two blue crystals. The man thanked him, packaging up the meat. Then carefully handed it to him with a wink. Pretty sure his mother would say that's weird. Jungkook thought nothing more of it, making his way back home near the woods.
Gradually it began to get dark outside. The tree's bark started to glow to cast an eerie light on the stone pathway. Quiet rustling of leaves by the breeze, making tiny animals scurry about to find warmth. Jungkook continued to walk his eyes cast downwards watching the stones shift slightly under his feet.
A greasy hand wrapped around his wrist jerking him to a halt. A man's deep voice whispered close to Jungkook's ear.
"Where's a pretty thing like you going at such a late hour..."
Without hesitation, Jungkook broke the man's wrist, and slammed him hard against the ground, his bones crunching on impact.
"Home." Jungkook's voice was emotionless as always, turned and continued his walk home. The man's whimpers fading with the distance. Jungkook's Mother was right.
A bit weird.
